Check out the bloke in the N.T. who shot his wife, father in law, step mother , and his 2 baby sons. He has just been released on parole, and his length of sentence inside was reduced because he is Aboriginal and they have a shorter life span than white men, so the judge reckons, so there for their "life" sentence should be shorter than whites , for the same crimes?

I am curious about the 13 year old girl, alone on Manly Wharfe. ( Sydney ) . Picked up by a busker 3 times her age. Then taken on a journey by ferry and train, of her own free will, to western Sydney somewhere, and then molested ? What was she doing there in the first place ? Where were her parents ? Have they never taught her stranger danger, and did she miss that lesson in school because she was hanging out at the wharfe looking for trouble ? The mind just boggles how these kids get themselves into these situations . I would never have crossed a road with a stranger, at 13 years old, let alone an epic journey across Sydney, and yet they say kids now days are so much more with it, and cluey, than we were years ago. Just wondering where to have a rant about the bloke who got out, who murdered Samantha Knight. The pedo who was already on heapies of charges , and in the nick, for his pedo activities, but then his manslughter plea for Samantha added to his time in, but took time off ??? Because it over lapped ??? this justice system sure sucks IMHO . So now we hear he has done dozens of courses while in jail,,,,all at the tax payers cost,,,,about 100 ks worth,,like the uni loan system,,,,,except he will never be in a position to pay back his loan,,,,and some of his study was on bones and remains.  This sicko has fiddled with dozens of kids. Killed Samantha and refuses to tell where her body is. And still our system of justice allows him to get free study that local kids cant afford,,,,so he comes out a highly qualified pedo with no hope of work or integration into the community. Thats justice ???? Flippin 'eck our justice system needs an over haul. |

The problem with this guy was that the original sentence wasn't enough. This judge is bound.
Under the new proposed sex offender legislation announced yesterday, similar to that rejected by NSW a couple of years ago, people like him will die in prison. With very strict 5 year parole conditions imposed on him, like that vile old pedo who died in Brisbane a couple of years ago, he wont be out long I reckon.
