How does that work? I haven't called out anyone for not being able to eat and chew gum, he did. Wink

While Australia burns, you have time for your race nonsense?

It's good news PT!

... if they are robbing bottle shops and assaulting people, they are not lighting fires.

Witness appeal following armed robbery on Pakenham/Cranbourne line train

Sunday, 12 January 2020 16:24

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify three males following an armed robbery on a city bound train on 31 December 2019.

Police have been told three males approached a male passenger while in transit between Yarraman Railway Station and Sandown Park Railway Station about 5pm.

The group threatened the 16-year-old victim and made demands for his Nike jacket and cash.

One of the male offenders, who was carrying a bum bag, opened it and threatened to use a large knife inside.

The victim complied and the offenders took off with his jacket and cash.

The group got off at Springvale Railway Station and boarded a Chelsea 902 bus.

Police have released images of three males they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

One male is perceived as African in appearance, thin build, and was wearing a black Nike jacket, ripped jeans and a black cap.

The second male is perceived as African in appearance, solid build and was wearing a black hooded jacket and black shorts.

The third male is perceived as African in appearance, thin build, and was wearing a Nike vest.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au

Its interesting seeing which communities and groups have stepped up with physical help during the fires.   The Siks ( is that correct spelling ? ) have, and always do, in a big way.  I saw another ethnic group from Sydney trucking in food and doing barbies, and some churches cooking and delivering food.  Also the people from the Temple down near Woolongong,,not sure who they are but they always step up with help.  During the Hunter floods a few years ago, they brought truck loads of food and blankets.
Any indication the Sudanese have offered any help ?

Not long later they were arrested by police, however three questions arise from this robbery.
A. How can the combined age of all six robbers be less than one hundred in this day and age ?Wink
B. Is it legal for any fourteen year old to drink alcohol ?Wink
C. Is it legal for a fourteen year old to own a machete ?Wink

You would think stayer coming from a war torn country and witnessing what a Machate can do , to use it in a friendly country that's giving you a fresh start would be the last resort, what about the victims, nothing more scary than a young buck wielding that weapon with no regard for the consequences.

What I find puzzling is the fact that the Sudanese communities everywhere but Melbourne do not seem to have this Violent Gang Culture (even in Bega) ... or the lefty media is just doing a better job everywhere else, but I doubt that, The Age and Dan and his Comrades are without peer when it comes to spinning this stuff!

We had the same issues in Bankstown when the ALP recruited 50,000 "true believers" unvetted from war torn Lebanon back in the day - they all vote Liberal now - so I understand that much of the issue is that they come here from a lawless violent environment, where there has mostly been little adult male influence (tough when the adult men are slaughtered for fun) ... but why are so many kids from the Sydney community filling College Basketball rosters in the US, and graduating academia with honours and collecting community awards, and hardly seen in "Wanted!" posters???

Because ever since the state was given a bad name by Indians a few years ago which made huge headlines back in India, it seems the government just sweeps it all under the carpet and pretends everything's fine.

POLICE have arrested and charged seven foreign nationals over a series of organised pickpocket and theft offences on Melbourne’s public transport system and CBD shopping centres.

Men and women in their 20s and 30s from India and Sri Lanka were arrested after raids in Sunshine and Tarneit yesterday morning.

Detective Sergeant Chris O’Brien said the group conducted the “sneaky” and “slick” thefts in crowded places such as the Bourke St Mall, Melbourne Central and the Queen Victoria Market.

The sophisticated thieves work in groups — at least two huddle around victims and pretend to bump into them, while another steals from their open handbags.

“Mostly they are crowding people using various methods of distraction, largely on the tram network,” Det Sgt O’Brien said.

“They targeted purses and wallets from women’s handbags in crowded places.

“A group of them will crowd and push up against someone from behind, it is very sneaky, very slick.” He said the target was predominantly cash, rather than credit cards or mobile phones.

In some cases, the victims were watched and followed as they withdrew cash from nearby ATMs.

“There is an indication victims have been followed, certainly there were victims who had recently withdrawn money from ATMs,” Det Sgt O’Brien said.

The group were said to be “well dressed” and catered their appearance to “fit in” and not stand out.

“In most of the offences, nobody noticed who the offenders were, but they did notice they had been bumped into, on trams, tram stops, escalators and elevators,” Det Sgt O’Brien said.

Police recorded more than 100 thefts and said about $20,000 cash had been seized.
