Malcolm Turnbull has aged alarmingly in recent times.

Prognosis would be a broken heart or a fall from his pedestal.

US Country music star Roy Clarke died yesterday.

While he was a star in the period just after world war two, through the 50's, he gained a new fan base, when he had a major role in the countrycentric show, Hee Haw, which was a show in the 60's which was the country version of the Smithers Brothers comedy/variety show.

Clarke also played a role in the creation of the city they call the Las Vegas of the east, Branson, in the state of Missouri. At its height, just like vegas, you could see the main street of Branson, from space, due to all the neon signage.

Been thru Branson.  Was a major country music city, bit like Nashville, only more glitzy.  But it seemed to die , not sure why.  Trying to get the brain to work, and think of the other C&W star who was either born there or involved with the place in some way.  Maybe Merle Haggard , not sure tho.  Too long ago since my Nashville days.
Saw Ole Roy many times at the Grand Ole Opry.  Geez he would have been ancient wouldnt he ?

I have been trying to confirm it aa but I think it was the country performer who first started a theatre there so they did not have to do national tours, and their fans could come and watch them was Mel Tillis.

Trying to confirm but he either had a bit to do with the initial theatre building, or started performing there, with Roy Clark.

Remember the song, never saw Hee Haw, but I do recall the Smothers Brothers - funny!
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

Will no doubt attract criticism, however I for one won't shed a tear for that talented cartoonist but ultra right wing racist who bilked millions from investors yet still lived the Life of Riley until his entirely welcome demise.

yep 3500 lawsuits, all unjustified , nothing to see there Confused

Trump "University " , useless degrees ripping off people for $35,000, I wouldn't even wipe my azz with one of them.

Casino floated on the stock exchange, people lost millions, Trump's reaction oh well that's what happens.

To deny he is a disgusting ,dishonest disgrace to humanity is the height of self delusion

I was asking about Larry Pickering     WHALE .

I remember him selling calculators to press buttons and pick winners .
RIP OFF
I rate horses to numbers ( the old Cliff Carey style)    Still works very well but the fact is it is purely a guide to your personal value of some variables,     With the previous Form Race rating as the starting base.

As far as I know AA he passed away in the nursing home where he had been, for how long he had been there I don't know but he jammed a lot of living in those 74 years , he'd had a broken back a long while ago ( trampled) maybe it was just his time .
