My dad was not religious at all, I know of him going to church only twice in the 33 years I knew him and one was when we buried him. He was however a big fan of Billy Graham and the only thing remotely religious I remember of him was in 1968 0r 69 making us watch the live tv coverage of a crusade in Melbourne

Approximately 250,000 pilgrims slept overnight at Randwick, and about 300,000 to 400,000 participants attended the Final Mass celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday 20 July. Pope Benedict continued a tradition of Australian Papal Masses at Randwick Racecourse, following in the footsteps of John Paul II and Paul VI.

When your heart stops beating.

What caused it to stop will be investigated by inquest, unless she had terminal cancer or something similar and a doctor certifies such.

Emma Chambers was a life long asthmatic and died of heart failure related to that illness. London air is toxic for those with breathing problems.

The cold damp air is bad.  I lived in East Anglia near the Fens for over 6 years and suffered every winter with very bad bronchitis, and the Doc told me to come home before I died.
Terrible for the lungs but wonderful for the skin.

Yep , watched a bit the other night on the BBC about the air pollution, clean air act brought in I think late 50s, most of the blame on home fires burning coal, air was thick as , fog and smoke = smog, poor bastards , this is the Main reason where I live now, the air.

would have thought wood-fires were smoking like fire out near the foot of the mountains...

I had to stop going to our holiday house at Sanctuary Point because of the wood-fire mania...ditto with Coffs Harbour in Winter...asthmatics' nightmare...
