Smith on his way for anudder ton?

Seems like he is got his bearing right on.

This Khawaja fella is a bit suspect in IMO.

Anyway great sight of MCG on Boxing Day!

Khawaja is certainly struggling, he is so classy i hope he can get through it.

Luckily for he and Bancroft there is no first class cricket to place pressure on them.

Tomorrow morning the Poms should pick up Shaun Marsh early exposing his brother to the new ball and ultimately the tail.

Good morning session coming up.

I thought the Poms bowled well, the "test" is doing it consistently over 2 innings ... Warner and Smith ARE Super Stars!

You dont need to be a particularly astute captain when you get into Australia's middle order.

I'm not sure that Smith failed as he bettered his average - maybe not for the Series but in general.

Your second comment is worthy for the OZ Team and selectors to take notice. Sure its a dead rubber but  when the Series is all over and the comparisons to the Teams that cleaned up 5-nil this team will be seen for all its all worth as winners but not that great (IMO).

Line 3 - Poms in Pommyland can finally enjoy some late Yorkshire pudding....

I agree, but I still feel like they will steal it away from the Poms at some point over a couple of dominant sessions in the next 2 days ... Barmy Army they must feel sick when they think about what might have been but for alcohol!Cry

Love those Aussie cricketers, appeal madly for a caught behind, carry on as if robbed, but of course, don't use the review option !

Good call max - they took the last wicket by successfully appealing a caught behind that was declined by the umpire - oops!Embarrassed

Cook is killing us.

Our bowlers, coach & captain killed us with their moronic short ball tactics

Definitely it was a weak performance by OZ today. There was no urgency in the last session to get those last wickets and limit the Pommy lead.

Dropped catches as well killed their chances.

Aust better not fall easy.

If they fail,we just have to put it down to CHRISTMAS and over-confidence.

The poms have their tail up now, but I'm sure it is within their capabilities to have potential victory slip from their grasp !

I hope the Poms get enough time to just miss out on a win, and they have the opportunity to whinge about losing time to the rain ... that would be the best result from here!Thumbs Up
