I can't believe she didn't have a thread of her own.
Now a Group 1 winner at 3YO by taking out the Flight Stks in what looked like a canter.
She already had the Tea Rose on her record but today puts her up there with some of the big name 3YO fillies to race in Sydney.

The Thousand Guineas would have to be on the radar now. And by what she did today she would give it a real shake.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left

Her whole career should be aimed at 1400m and 1600m races.

I saw her win at wfarm first up this prep in a good form race on a sh*tty track -- she handled em and was clearly the best horse in the race and had "big prep ahead" written all over her.

Clearly they kept a lot in her tank hence the couple of glitches against Formality over sprints. She's off the leash well and truly now. Her ability to relax and sprint will keep her at the pointy end in her sex and agegroup.

Nice to see Sepoy get a G1 horse.  That was easy as the ears were pricked at the end.

Interesting mix of Danehill & Marscay and decending from one of my favourite race mares Triscay.  Loved watch her run.

She looks to do it so easy. Just ambles along and then hits the line with ears pricked and alert eyes. I can't work out if she is only in third gear.

Who cares she looks good and that's what keeps us coming back for more.  She isn't the prettiest filly I've ever seen but she can run and Triscay wasn't the prettiest either come to think of it.

She is a big filly with a big stride...just like the tall lanky kid in the 200m regional athletics carnival that ran past you (me) looking like they were jogging. but they werent...its just the stride.

my 2c anyway.

I think I heard that the Gold Coast winner today, SHE'S A YOUEFFOH , is related to La Baraka as well.

Clearly much chop compared to this girl. She reminded me of First Seal the way she won that

For sure. The bigger stride makes them look to be going easier and slower in covering the same ground.

The race panned out like I thought, with Alizee being a few pairs further back than the Tea Rose, but she was still too good.

Even if Catchy shows up against the fillies, in the 1000 Guineas she is a top chance.
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Reminds me a bit of Guelph. Went on to the Guineas and won it but come Spring they had no horse left. Stable tends to ask a lot of their Spring 3yos. Hope they put her away.

She pulled up better than ever after the run according to JC and he's now warming to the Thousand Guineas (which given his usual equivocations probably means she's a definite LOL). If not it's the paddock.

Be mad not to if she's pulled up so well. Ripe for the picking with a very weak looking field now.
