They wave this way or that, according to which way the breeze is blowing. That is not leadership. And it is not the preserve of Labor, plenty on the other side have had changes of mind. They flock like sheep. At least Abbott has maintained his attitude. Being seen as out of step with your fellows, is dangerous territory, socially and politically. That is how ideas that take hold, are re-inforced, by compliance of people to the principle of "safety in numbers"

he isnt a regular twitterer but he has found time to tweet about the burqa, migration and hanson in the last few days. i cant find anything offering his support of gay marriage - despite him changing his opinion from NO to YES.

i wonder why this is?

Lawyers, marriage celebrants, reception venue owners, wedding cake makers, diamond ring makers, all agree, SSM is the ticket.
