Colette Cooper has worked this boy out. Only put the one poor run in this prep and that was first up in the Mildura Cup.
He's since gone on to win at Mildura, finished 2nd in the Deniliquin Cup and a 3rd in the Warracknabeal Cup. He has also placed at Bendigo and Mildura.

I think he is a big chance of causing a boil over in the Swan Hill Cup today, even the place odds are appealing

Has drawn the wide gate in 18, but by that time of the day on Day 3 of the Carnival I think this horse can run a cheeky race.

Although not blessed with great ability, I have been following this horse because of his wonderful nature when he was based in Melbourne.
Unfortunately, he collapsed on the home turn at Strath today and I’m sad to report that he has passed away.

Rip Big Fella.

Ah, somebody noticed.

I’ve been traveling around the US, back in Aus for a little while now.

DON'T KEL YAMEMMA (J. Huxtable) – in the vicinity of the 300 metres broke down dislodging its rider. Examined by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon who reported that the gelding had ruptured its aorta and was deceased. A post-mortem blood sample was taken from the gelding for analysis. Rider was examined by First Care Medical and ruled uninjured in the event

Terrible demise for the horse - saw it on the replay, looked badUnhappy. The caller stated that the jockey went straight to the aid of the horse to do what he could ... kudos Justin Huxtable.

A little bird told me that for quite some time they were busy rehearsing for their honeymoon.

Well it's said practice makes perfect.  Wink
