Dear Mr Waller,

Do you intend to barrier trial Single Gaze next week to ascertain if she has lost interest or indeed, had enough? As you did with the lovely grey mare Catkins after she ran very poorly on the preceding Saturday.

Surely you have the staff to advise you accordingly.

Thank You.
Bonjour and have a nice day.

SG was Nick Olives stable star, best horse he’d ever had. As if he wouldnt have kept her racing if there wasn’t a very good reason not to? They were all devastated when they heard the news that she was to be put back into work. SG was Canberra’s little champion and the stable and owners only wanted the best for her.

Those who pointed this out back on page 1 of this thread were rubbished and told she is a race horse and should be racing.  I bet there are a few on here who, like me, never had a penny on her.

Did the previous trainer ever say the horse was injured or not fit to continue racing?

No.
Didn’t even bother to fill out the retired horse form.
Which made it so easy to transfer trainers.

They got the big $$$$$$. Sorry, you sell and then it is none of your business what the new owner does.

They obviously weren't breeders so what else were they supposed to do with a potentially valuable brood mare?

Get her in foal to a highly commercial sire and sell.

Totally fine to sell but don’t complain after the fact.

They certainly earns enough prize money to do that and wouldn’t she have made $$ at the MM.
Although it is hard to get owners to come to a mutual decision on occasion.

If you sell a car and the new owner takes it for a drive do you have the right to complain? No.

Same same

Deja vu all over again. Olive said that the previous owners thought they had an agreement with the bloodstock agent that she'd be retired. They failed to lock it in.

If the Mayor accepts it , I'm hoping it'll be on the home page. Nom de plumes are fine for questions.
It's a good start for those who may want to know things like ..hours worked , travel , first winner , fave jockey, feeds , spells etc etc
I'm keen to know his feed bill or choice thereof. Does he punt? Why does my trainer charge for dental work every -expletive deleted- months. 😀
Over to you , interview/coffee by Thursday next. 😀

How about you kick things off Baggy.  Otherwise it might be a very short reappearance.
