Any number of mares have been exported to Japan without later incident. Compared with Australia where a very significant number of horses, thoroughbreds at least as many if not more than other breeds, finally end up in Pal.

At least the plug was pulled after two runs this season, she's now had had a couple of months to recuperate, and will hopefully do Australia proud in the Japanese broodmare barn.  Thumbs Up

Exactly.   But when some of us said that in the first place, we were told by the experts .  She is a race horse and she should be racing Evil Smile
Or.  Its their horse and they can do what they like with her.LOL
Well.  They did .  And she made them look stupid.  ClapClapLOL
Thankfully she is still in one piece , and not broken.   Shame to see a great little girl go out like that, thanks to greedy owners.  Thumbs Down

Stewards Report
Mr Waller advised that he would recommend to the owner the mare be retired.

If the Mayor accepts it , I'm hoping it'll be on the home page. Nom de plumes are fine for questions.
It's a good start for those who may want to know things like ..hours worked , travel , first winner , fave jockey, feeds , spells etc etc
I'm keen to know his feed bill or choice thereof. Does he punt? Why does my trainer charge for dental work every -expletive deleted- months. šŸ˜€
Over to you , interview/coffee by Thursday next. šŸ˜€

How about you kick things off Baggy.  Otherwise it might be a very short reappearance.

Deja vu all over again. Olive said that the previous owners thought they had an agreement with the bloodstock agent that she'd be retired. They failed to lock it in.

If you sell a car and the new owner takes it for a drive do you have the right to complain? No.

Same same

Get her in foal to a highly commercial sire and sell.

They certainly earns enough prize money to do that and wouldnā€™t she have made $$ at the MM.
Although it is hard to get owners to come to a mutual decision on occasion.
