you are just like MO..... Mo only remembers our winning days, forgets all about our losing ones..... she will ask how the whole month went, and when a say PLUS 26% for BIG bets she says is that all??? she says you had so many good days.....yes Mo, but what about those BIG losing days!!

I was a bit confused about what you are doing but realised you are placing your bets on both punters as well as the big tip off.

it would be a good indication of performance over thousands of bets not just what happened on ONE day or ONE month.

punters.com shows 2015 was over 3000 bets for a break even result.......2016 was MINUS 5% .........2017 was nearly 5000 bets and again break even 2018 so far is MINUS 5%.....

why post just your good days here???? are you actually doing it so tough you need the extra few small dollars that selling your bets would bring in??

is it for the glory only??...not much glory when the OVERALL RESULT IS IN A MINUS POSITION??so that cant be it??
WHY are you selling your tips?? I really cant see why??

don't be defensive or offensive please, I personally would like to know what is behind the selling of tips......

just so you know there is nothing wrong with selling tips!!!!! WE USED TO DO IT (IN THE 90'S)!!! we were monitored by Punters choice!! and when we stopped we were PLUS 13% after a series of 13 losers in a row (receivers of tips expect WINNERS not losers so they dropped off..)
we sold tips because we were young and felt that we could prove to others that there are winning methods out there, and NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO RIP YOU OFF!!!

Again it is all about what prices are being used at Punters to determine the results you put forward Al.
Blaster may be recorded at tote odds but may be getting av. 100% overs by price shopping.
As you point out with your own selections ,    You are getting Massive overs by having many accounts with many outlets. Good money management.
The SP results would show a very different story.

only X amount of bookies offer a Boost AND if too successful they get pinned back  to nothing like Neds giving us a 2-6% boost........... so you would need to have a 10 bookies accounts in 20 different names  to get sufficient Boosts for the amount of Bets that Blaster puts forward. .....sometimes 20-30 a day..... you cannot get anywhere near that amount of boosts. I am in a different position as I am lucky to have maybe 2 to 6 BIG bets a day, sometimes none. Then the small bets and my action bets will quite often be baby bets as well. Most of the time if I have not taken a boost on the baby bets I will take top fluc.
anyways... the question is why sell them?????

Lol Al...    Funny World actually.     > Does anyone buy them .???
It would surprise me if they did .
The incredible facilities for free information to Punters today is AMAZING>.       Press a button and a video replay is there .   Press again and a genuine assessment by a form student ... Why would anyone justify paying for anyone's selections.        .   Most who have an idea on here are very generous with opinion. ...and profitable most main days.

Hi Al et al

Yes, they certainly do buy tips on Punters and there is some nice pocket money to be made.
I hit the #1 spot there in April 2014 and held it for 6 months.
In that time I took out $4800.00 for my UK/Ireland tips.

The top Aussie races tipsters would be making some nice money.

Why did I sell them? I saw it as 'free money' and for no other reason.
I always ensured I had my own bets on before posting them to Punters.

Re the odds Punters put up for winners-if anything I feel they are inflated-but that is just my opinion.

Cheers
Horatio

$4,800 IN a 6 month period....seems like peanuts to me for the effort involved??? AND that was for being NUMBER 1!!.
INFLATED PRICES!!........ absolutely!!!!!!! the better the results look the more payments they (punters.com) will be receiving!!!

Hardly any effort Al..takes but a few seconds to place them.
As I said, mine were just UK/Ireland tips.
That $4800 paid for my software (and still is).

Well welcome back Mr H. Andicap. Great to see you doing well. How about starting another tipping thread for the overseas stuff ? Got out of trouble a few times using that info.

I'm not travelling so well in reality- full time carer for a very ill Wife and my own 89 year old Mother is burning me out (no spring chicken myself).
My punting is suffering accordingly-

It's difficult enough to cope with the crap from the likes of whale and manewer when one is winning so no chance of me wanting to go there when having a bad trot.

If I return to form for the coming flat season in the UK I may consider posting a few again-

I Just had a look at a tipster that has a 40% win s/r ate and PLUS 10% POT from 1500 bets.... which to me is pretty good result...........BUT......... study the results that Punters.com records the winners at!!!!.
virtually every single bet is recorded as "overs" when compared to the best of 3 tabs/SP method of record keeping.
take for example.....2nd March Fannie Bay 5 the winner Commissar with an SP of $1-60 and best tab of $1-80 the winner is recorded at $5-50!!!!!! This is a drastic example but an example none the less!!

todays winner: Armidale 1 $2-00 SP best tab $1-90 recorded at $2-30.

continue to record like this and a break even result or worse will suddenly be PLUS 10%...which is what punters.com wants!!!

winning tipsters = paying customers = $$$ in pockets of Punters.com

Victorian punter Blaster capped off a seven day windfall yesterday from his 27 bets placed at theGreatTipOff.com. Punters were treated to a 10 win haul which represented a 37% strike rate at odds averaging $4.63. If you thought those statistics couldn't get better, Blaster has now notched up 10 winning punting days in a row.
