Trump has surrendered on his stupid shutdown. Now Moscow Mitch has to go cap in hand and beg Nancy for forgiveness.

I doubt Nancy will be too impressed. He needs to go back and try harder.

Okay, inside info here from my "source".

The wall is indeed going up.

Trump is making a "tremendous" deal with Mexico, which will see Mexico and other nations to the south, thrive.
Trump has plans to help all of South America. Trade deals and Intellectual property deals.

Wall: Up.

Forget about Mueller PT.
Israel want Trump as President, end of story.

The idea of "globalism", versus "nationalism", is going to be met somewhere in between.
Nationhood and national sovereignty will remain throughout the 21st century.
However citizens of each nation, will indeed be digitally monitored. (no surprise)

So the whole New World Order conspiracy theory garbage etc, is only ever going to be half met during the 21st century.

Crypto Currencies are also going to thrive even more.

Alex Jones will keep rambling on though, about lizards taking over the world.

As long as it isn't a hostage swap situation and Netanyahu becomes President. He is a bigger crook than Trump.

How is Jamie Packer sleeping these days?

He didn't refute the story. He said that aspects of the report were inaccurate. in other words the leaks didn't come from his office. Possibly references to the other sources of information eg texts emails.

Ben Smith Buzzfeed chief editor contacted the SC office prior to publishing to make sure their reporting wasn't factually incorrect. He said he didn't get a reply so published it as it was.

Today they are saying they have re-confirmed their reporting and stand by it.

Mueller, in Cohen's sentencing statement confirmed the central plank of the story.

I think Mueller was making it clear that the source of the story, ie 2 people involved in the investigation, was not from his office.

Around this time, Schwartz, who was one of the leading young magazine writers of the day, stopped by Trump’s office, in Trump Tower. Schwartz had written about Trump before. In 1985, he’d published a piece in New York called “A Different Kind of Donald Trump Story,” which portrayed him not as a brilliant mogul but as a ham-fisted thug who had unsuccessfully tried to evict rent-controlled and rent-stabilized tenants from a building that he had bought on Central Park South. Trump’s efforts—which included a plan to house homeless people in the building in order to harass the tenants—became what Schwartz described as a “fugue of failure, a farce of fumbling and bumbling.” An accompanying cover portrait depicted Trump as unshaven, unpleasant-looking, and shiny with sweat. Yet, to Schwartz’s amazement, Trump loved the article. He hung the cover on a wall of his office, and sent a fan note to Schwartz, on his gold-embossed personal stationery. “Everybody seems to have read it,” Trump enthused in the note, which Schwartz has kept.

“I was shocked,” Schwartz told me. “Trump didn’t fit any model of human being I’d ever met. He was obsessed with publicity, and he didn’t care what you wrote.” He went on, “Trump only takes two positions. Either you’re a scummy loser, liar, whatever, or you’re the greatest. I became the greatest. He wanted to be seen as a tough guy, and he loved being on the cover.” Schwartz wrote him back, saying, “Of all the people I’ve written about over the years, you are certainly the best sport.”

Tony Schwartz said in 2016 that he had deep remorse for the part he played in the rise of Donald Trump.

Trump predictably sent a demand for millions in compensation for those hurtful things or he will sue him.

Schwartz is still waiting for the suit. He says he welcomes the case and the discovery that will come with it, being a civil suit ie tax returns.

You’re certainly correct there PT. I’ve lived through two US Presidential impeachment dramas. Nixon ( I was very young but remember it) and Clinton. Nixon was forced to resign because he knew the game was up but Clinton survived . The difference was Nixon lost the support of his party and Clinton managed to keep his party behind him. Trump couldn’t care less about the wall . This is all about him trying to keep the RWNJs of America behind him and therefore the senate holding solid . Just like with Nixon the minute the Republicans in the Senate start to waiver Trumps gone and he knows it.

Trump has every legal right in the world to have aimed at building a Trump Tower in Russia, prior to becoming the legally democratically elected President.
The fact they are now clinging to this as their primary chance of impeaching Trump, is now evidence they wont be able to impeach him. They are truly grasping at straws now.

If everything was above board why did Trump lie about it, why did Cohen lie to congress about it, why did Don Jr lie to congress about it. Why was the Buzzfeed story even a story?

Fair enough, they are all pathological liars, but what they were doing couldn't be too legal.Wink

Trump trying to build a tower in Russia, prior to being President, is obviously legal.
I would day that Trump denied it, as he didnt want to damage potential votes, as it simply didnt look good that he was expanding into Russia.
Needless to say, he would be regretting that one lie.
The fact he "lied" as "President", is why he should be impeached.
But heck, if the world goes down that path, every single major leader of the world, would be impeached, because they lie about pre-election "promises".
"build this, build that, we are gunna do this, do that, blah blah".
Then they dont do it.
Effectively, lying as a national leader.

In my opinion, all pre-election promises should be legally drawn up, so they cant backdown and break the pre-election promise.

Politicians losing their job for lies?
Well, umm, thats a new one.
Politicians are notoriously infamous for lying. Its what they do.

Its a crap system, full stop.
The general public, globally, have had enough of it.

It’s more to do with lying to investigators about his negotiations with the Russians. Nixon wasn’t going to be impeached for the break and enter at the Watetgate building, but for the cover up. Clinton wasn’t going to be impeached for fun and games with Monica in the Oval Office but for the cover up. Both of these cover ups pale into insignificance compared to the avalanche of lies and criminal behaviour around your hero Trump. He could be Impeached tomorrow for lying about the hush money payment to his porn star girl friend.

It is also about doing business with sanctioned Russian banks, which is just money laundering, and what the quo was in the quid pro quo re approval of a project personally by Putin.

The lies Cohen and Trump's son told congress were about the dates re the Trump Moscow project. They went 6 months into his Presidency.

Why did the project not go ahead? Did Rex visit to Moscow in April 2017 have anything to do with it?
Is the project still alive and awaiting removal of sanctions on Putin and the unfreezing of his billions in stolen Russian's money?

You do talk a lot of rubbish marble.
Point one, the President didn't end the shutdown, he gave the public the outline of what he had given Pelosi weeks earlier.
Facts do seem to be your biggest hurdle.

Point two, Mueller coming out to deny the Buzzfeed article's credibilty is something he doesn't usually do. He only give out reports on court hearings as the norm. But on this occasion he has slapped the leftist MSM, and they are not happy. For him to do that says a lot about the falling credibility of the MSM including their earlier calls for impeachment for collusion with Russia. How's that one going?
Again the fact that you don't seem able to grasp.

Keep listening to PT and you'll end up as silly as he is.

Do you have a link to where he proposed a moratorium on DACA and temporary visas weeks ago?

You do know what an outline is PT, so stop deflecting.
If you want the facts search for them. Hint, don't use MSM outlets.

Also PT you posted "He didn't refute the story. He said that aspects of the report were inaccurate. in other words the leaks didn't come from his office. Possibly references to the other sources of information eg texts emails."

The fact is.
"BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the Special Counsel's Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony are not accurate," said Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller's office, in a statement.

Pesky facts just keep getting in your way mate.Big smile

It reported that New Jersey real estate developer Charles Kushner had pledged $2.5 million to Harvard University in 1998, not long before his son Jared was admitted to the prestigious Ivy League school. At the time, Harvard accepted about one of every nine applicants. (Nowadays, it only takes one out of twenty.)

I also quoted administrators at Jared’s high school, who described him as a less than stellar student and expressed dismay at Harvard’s decision.

“There was no way anybody in the administrative office of the school thought he would on the merits get into Harvard,” a former official at The Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, told me. “His GPA did not warrant it, his SAT scores did not warrant it. We thought for sure, there was no way this was going to happen. Then, lo and behold, Jared was accepted. It was a little bit disappointing because there were at the time other kids we thought should really get in on the merits, and they did not.”
