I have mentioned him many times last year.
Cohen and his brother both married daughters of Ukraine 'oligarchs' Both had been imprisoned in Ukraine and Cohen's father in law was in trouble in Chicago a long time ago over taxi licences, the same pretext used for the feds raiding Cohen. His father in law has recently 'loaned' another large Chicago operator $20-40 million to bail him out. Cohen's uncle Morton Levine has also been in this taxi crime loop along with other members of the so called Russian mafia in NY. Levine owned a club that was the headquarters of the Russian and Jewish mafia, and Cohen bought into it . Felix Sater and Cohen grew up in and around that club, El Caribe(or something like that) They are all intertwined through these taxi medallions. The taxi industry is renowned for money laundering and in the case of Cohen and his and his brother's fathers in law, former Soviet money laundering

Cohen and Sater were a means to access Russian money and real estate in Moscow.
Sater(also a CIA informant) is friends with Putin. He got the Trump Russia project rolling. He also partnered Ivanka in the problematic Trump Soho project that nearly got Ivanka imprisoned. Daddy paying off prosecutors got her off. That is also currently being investigated in NY.

Through Don Jr. Cohen bought an apartment in Trump Tower 12 or so years ago, and joined the building's governing body, where he got to know Don and offered his legal advice for the corporate body. It went from there.

Btw Shammy, I am sure you also read the Cohen sentencing memos from SDNY and Mr Mueller.
As most of this stuff, including the coordination of stories was spelled out in there, I think Mr Mueller is actually their primary source along with some of the dozens of Trump people who told the same lies in hearings. The only difference really is the assertion that it was on Trump's instruction. That may have come from any or many of those who appeared and lied. I think I’ve said it before on here but all you have to do is do the form on Trump and how he has always operated. Look at his track record. He dived in bed with the New York Mafia to get the original Trump Tower built . Ditto his Atlantic City Casinos . All of his “ fixers” throughout his career have had mob connections. As his brand waned in significance in the USA in recent years he simply moved on to Russian criminals to partner up with. All of this is fair enough if you just want to be a self promoting reality TV star, but POTUS? I honestly don’t know how anyone can still defend the man.
