The CNN reporter was a rude disgrace.
regardless of what anyone thinks of Trump, he first politely asked him to stop with questions, to let others have a chance, but in what is meant to be a rational chance for media, the CNN moron overstepped his welcome and abused the President. Its a disgrace to abuse the leader of a nation like that. Zero respect. Imagine if that reporter did the same to Obama?? Obama would be the victim. It would be labelled as a racist attack etc. The circus is all so predictable now. Bravo to Trump for slamming the idiot.

Why did Trump direct a question at Acosta, someone he regularly clashes with?
Trump was angry after his ''widespread victories'' losing the House and was looking for a fight. He got what he wanted, something to offer his media hating base. |

how did he abuse trump? The fact is donny doesn't like facts or press keeping him accountable. He may have been a draft dodger but he is a far better question dodger.

It was a fair question Acosta was asking Trump. Given the dire national security warnings from Trump and Fox News on the caravan full of murdering thieving Middle Eastern people surging violently towards the border, he simply asked Trump for an update on where the caravan was, given that nobody in America was sleeping with little kiddies having nightmares about being murdered in their sleep.
Seems it was too difficult a question.

Exaggerating PT. . Crossing the border unlawfully is making Trump take action. . Harmless Physically, as they may be , I'm surprised you don't see that such illegal entry isn't on . THEY MUST BE STOPPED by whatever means. How would we be if 20 million from China decided to do the same here. 30 boats a day , non stop . |

No one disagrees that it’s reasonable to stop illegal border crossings.
In this case Trump whipped up hysteria about the imminent threats to all Americans this latest caravan posed. He sent 5,000 troops to the border because it was so urgent, and declared a further 10,000 might also be deployed. The current status is there are approximately 4,000 in Mexico City, some 2,800km from their intended crossing point. ( to put it in perspective,Bris to melb is 1,800) They have declared that they believe 270 have criminal histories. They don’t need any of these 5,000 troops to protect the border. And if 20M Chinese wanted to invade Oz, they’d come by air, each with more than enough to buy your house. Not analogous at all....... |

Not analogous at all..." There you go, a confession from rusty. And then we will be building our own re education places to put us into. What would the chinese re educate us about pt and rusty? Mind you, you would be on the outside as loyal comrades.
Thank goodness aus will be able to call on Ameriaca for help to defend ourselves. |

It wasnt the question the CNN reporter asked that was bad, it was the fact the President politely answered 3 times, until the moronic reporter kept asking it,over and over, showing nothing but an ill display of bad etiquette.
There is a common sense of decency in that room, a protocol, and the reporter broke it, and justifiably should never be welcomed back.

Rusty there is actually a growing movement of people who think it IS "unreasonable to stop illegal border crossings." They argue that truly unlimited "open borders" are good for all. Pie in the sky stuff, but a genuine and well funded/ promoted philosophy which sounds humanitarian etc. It's also worth realizing that in Europe there are countries with open border policies that still obviously distinguish between legal and illegal entry etc, and choose the other countries that they have open borders with etc. Just trying to put the usual balck/ white positions into perspective. Yes Trump does his usual hyperbole about "all dems being (unlimited) open borders advocates" (few if any dems are that crazy... yet), and yes it's cynical political crap, but there's more to the whole thing than "nobody disagrees that it's reasonable to stop illegal immigrants." It's also stupid to say that Trump says that stuff because he's a "racist" blah blah. Not that you said that, but many do. Because it's easy. And he's Hitler, and stuff. |

I'd like to see her retire and replaced with a judge who respects the Constitution. Personally, after seeing what happened with Kavanaugh, I really hope that Amy C B isn't next in line, because they will target her as a religious kook etc, which would be even uglier and more vindictive than the orchestrated charges of Kavanaugh being a drunken raping gambling privileged white male. |

Well you could turn that around too. "May not be (a real supporter of whatever liberal ideavthat appeals to target audiences) but plays it for political advantage." Anyone who gets that high up in politics is a ratbag these days, and probably always. The outrage about Trump's character is either concocted, dumb or shallow, depending on the particular outragee. |

That's not true, and just cynical politics again, targeting audiences. From the US opinion forums I've read, plenty of genuine redneck racists don't like him because he isn't a good ol boy racist. These people still believe that some races are inferior to others. Trump isn't like that. |

You mean the right wing interpretation of the constitution. Just because you might disagree with some of her rulings certainly does not mean she has no respect for the constitution

I mean a reading of the Constitution based on the in-built limits of it. The US would need to write a new Constitution to deliver different logical and legal decisons that agree with progressive ideals. I agree Ginsberg has been better than others in her respect for the Constitution. |
