Ummm, one more time for the dummies ... just because I didn't screech "Rrrrreeeee!!! ... FCUK TRUMP!!!", that doesn't mean I am defending him. I freely acknowledge that he says stupid things, he's made bad, maybe even very bad decisions in his past (he's not a career public servant like most of them though), he may have even committed a misdemeanor or a criminal offence, and he's even made bad decisions as POTUS ... but you don't need me to tell you that, just turn on the ABC, or CNN, or Waleed, or read a newspaper! As an unbiased observer, my argument is simple, in amongst all of this stuff that the Trump Deranged just can't let go of - because it is reported inanely and endlessly - he is the most  successful POTUS since Reagan ... he actually has around 300 reportable achievements as President ... it's just hard to google Trump achievements and find them, because of the bias of google!

So my point for the class today (as it is everyday) is that, just like here in Australia, what is the alternative to the fcuked up government they have, if they are just more of the same gelati people, and in fact, are worse liars, because they have to be, and have worse policies and a terrible track record anyway? ... before going "Rrrreeeee!!!" it might be worth considering that question ...

Is Doc saying that the same standard should apply to Trump?

In many cases precedence is taken into consideration, especially with sentencing.

In the court of public comment, we should all strive to be balanced.

You call one guy a grub so you have an obligation to judge his neighbour by the same standards

It took seven minutes for Jamal Khashoggi to die, a Turkish source who has listened in full to an audio recording of the Saudi journalist's last moments told Middle East Eye.

Khashoggi was dragged from the Consul General’s office at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and onto the table of his study next door, the Turkish source said.

Horrendous screams were then heard by a witness downstairs, the source said.

"The consul himself was taken out of the room. There was no attempt to interrogate him. They had come to kill him,” the source told MEE.

The screaming stopped when Khashoggi - who was last seen entering the Saudi consulate on 2 October - was injected with an as yet unknown substance.

Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, who has been identified as the head of forensic evidence in the Saudi general security department, was one of the 15-member squad who arrived in Ankara earlier that day on a private jet.

Tubaigy began to cut Khashoggi’s body up on a table in the study while he was still alive, the Turkish source said.
