Yeah that's the gist I got. Who defines "good" though? I get that the "dark web" is mainly for creeps and weirdos. 20 years from now people will be laughing at our current trust in the openly accessible net, I'm sure.

Fair to say though I think that Bernie is obviously a weirdo, so the purist socialists didn't stand a chance. Hillary was establishment, and Trump was less weird than Bernie. Not rocket science really, and doesn't take russian meddling for what happened to happen.

How will you characterize yourself at the end of this thread when Trump retires to FL to write his memoirs. I hope your thread obituary will be honest. CNNPT: I know yankee politics is objectional to you, but that is what makes are country so great. We actually have a real democratic experience that cycles in political character regularly rather than the parochial royal and parliamentary experience that Commonwealth nations suffer based on no confidence votes absent the population .

And that is leaving aside the bizarre but legal electoral college and the imbalance of Senate representation. You call yourself a Constitutional Republic rather than a Constitutional Democracy for a reason. You have both aspects but the ability to cheat it.
