The Trump Presidency

Today may shorten his Presidency to less than one term. Storm(y) clouds are gathering and like our pathetic soulless Liberal Party here, self preservation is their key motivating force. If Mr Mueller drops a bad report it becomes an opportunity to dump him and resolve themselves of blame. Criminal charges in NY create the possibility of a deal with Mr Mueller to resign to not see his kids go to prison. Cohen and his deals in Russia/Ukraine/Latvia etc all heavily implicate Ivanka, Don Jr and Eric, the co deal makers with Cohen. Money laundering with 1300+ cash deals is an obvious next stage target.

Just speculating, but directing your lawyer to initiate a non-disclosure agreement is not a crime, so it appears, because Trump's name was not specifically mentioned in the pleas, Cohen is pleading guilty to how he personally contracted and funded the agreements. Clients don't normally get involved in such matters other than agree to the character of the settlement. Settlement funds are held in the escrow accounts of the attorney. As Trump's attorney Cohen’s escrow account would have held Trump corporate and personal funds, not Trump campaign funds. Sounds like Cohen fudged the escrow books trying to get outside corporate funds and the reason Trump is not mentioned is because he was unaware of Cohen's financial dealings. Thus Trump has deniability.

All the experts agree that Cohen will not be a credible witness and if Mueller had a paper trail he would have gone after Trump earlier and more vigorously. What Lanny Davis says in a tweet is inconsequential. He is a political hack and it appears Cohen is not helping the prosecution.

Because our inept and often corrupt IRS did not catch this earlier in 2000 and it took a special counsel witch-hunt and millions of dollars of taxpayer money to convict Manafort on the lesser 8 of the 18 indictments.

It is a dark day for you too. There was no connection to Trump. Beginning 570 pages ago you assured this thread exponentially that Trump would be gone and locked up. So what happened? Are you going to offer up your patience paradigm again?
