Ask Mr Andrew McCabe how fair life is.Â
Big story today that he opened an official FBI investigation into Trump obstruction when Comey was fired to shut down the Russia investigation, and then he was fired to shut that investigation down. |
Very funny. McCabe was fired for unethical conduct. That one is easy to stomach.
Maybe the story that former Bush 41 AG William Barr is being considered as 45's AG is true. That's good. He is a kinder gentler lawyer who won't put up with any BS. Particularly Mueller's. Dreary you.
Trump International stated that any foreign national employees who used fraudulent papers to get employment will be terminated. |
Shammy, McCabe has been re-instated, the twice impeached twice outvoted failed former has not.

Just the other day I caught an old movie, "Hud" with Paul Newman, as the film progressed, I started to see some parallels between the Hud character, and our Donny, brash, selfish, really couldn't give a bugger about anyone except himself, apparently it was the movie's intent that he be seen as an anti-hero, but surprisingly the audience saw it very differently, as this Wikipaedia critique suggests.....
Through the character of Hud, Ritt and Newman had intended to show the corruption of modern capitalism and the pitfalls of admiring an individual blindly, without observing his character. Critics, however, did not universally echo this view. Life's review described Hud as "likable, smart, and [with] the potential to measure up to his tough, honorable father" and Saturday Review called him a "charming, raffish monster". According to Outlook, "Hud Bannon is a mean, unscrupulous man who never has even a momentary twinge of conscience or change of heart"; in the end scene, Hud " ulls down the shade on the world of goodness and decency". Pauline Kael initially described the film as an "anti-Western"; she called it an "anti-American film", which was "so astutely made and yet such a mess that it (was) redeemed by its fundamental dishonesty." Although Hud was conceived as an outwardly charming, but morally repugnant character, audiences, especially young people, found him likable, even admirable. Paul Newman said, "We thought [the] last thing people would do was accept Hud as a heroic character ... His amorality just went over [the audience's] head; all they saw was this Western, heroic individual". Martin Ritt later attributed audience interpretation of the character to the counterculture of the 1960s which "changed the values" of the young audiences who saw Hud as a hero. After reading that, maybe I understand why Trump became popular !

Why would either scenario shock you? Anti-heroes have been popularised for centuries.

Trump is right to some extent, which is why the antifa aggressive confrontational tactics are a very bad strategy if the objective is progress. But the antifa scum are not really interested in progress- their objective is chaos. |

But if you look at my posts on Antifa I also point out, based on the facts, their record of violence is miniscule compared to the right-wing terrorists.

Donald Trump was thundering about a minority group, linking its members to murderers and what he predicted would be an epic crime wave in America. His opponents raged in response—some slamming him as a racist—but Trump dismissed them as blind, ignorant of the real world.
No, this is not a scene from a recent rally in which the Republican nominee for president stoked fears of violence from immigrants or Muslims. The year was 1993, and his target was Native Americans, particularly those running casinos who, Trump was telling a congressional hearing, were sucking up to criminals.
Trump, who at the time was a major casino operator, appeared before a panel on Indian gaming with a prepared statement that was level-headed and raised regulatory concerns in a mature way. But, in his opening words, Trump announced that his written speech was boring, so he went off-script, even questioning the heritage of some Native American casino operators, saying they “don't look like Indians†and launching into a tirade about “rampant†criminal activities on reservations.
“If [Indian gaming] continues as a threat, it is my opinion that it will blow. It will blow sky high. It will be the biggest scandal ever or one of the biggest scandals since Al Capone,†Trump said. “That an Indian chief is going to tell [mobster] Joey Killer to please get off his reservation is almost unbelievable to me.†His words were, as is so often the case, incendiary. Lawmakers, latching onto his claim to know more than law enforcement about ongoing criminal activity at Indian casinos, challenged Trump to bring his information to the FBI. One attacked Trump’s argument as the most “irresponsible testimony†he had ever heard. Connecticut Governor Lowell Weicker Jr., whom Trump had praised in his testimony, responded by calling him a “dirtbag†and a bigot; Trump immediately changed his mind about the governor, proclaiming Weicker to be a “fat slob who couldn't get elected dog catcher in Connecticut.†For opponents of Trump’s presidential run, this contretemps about American Indians might seem like a distant but familiar echo of the racism charges that have dogged his campaign, including his repeated taunting of Senator Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas†because she claims native ancestry. But, in this case, there was more to it than that: Trump, through his offensive tantrum, was throwing away financial opportunities, yet another reminder that, for all his boasting of his acumen and flaunting of his wealth, the self-proclaimed billionaire has often been a lousy businessman.

good read Tiaz - he doesn't seem to be a nice guy or play by the rules. Don't forget if trump pays less tax than he is liable for that makes him smarter than everyone else!

Incidentally I've been playing as Hungary on Fifa 20, currently 5 wins from 6 played, my only loss at home to Greece, which I'm sure BROOKE won't like, however the 7-0 defeat of Germany should placate her.
Also incidentally the most talented player in the team is a central defender named Orban, I thought Viktor would have made himself a star attacker.

Is this is your best spin on the SCOTUS decisions? I am shocked that you haven't posted that Trump will be prison in the next few weeks. Oh, but you have already done that. As I recall you had him locked up in first 25 pages or so of this thread. You are kinda like the kid riding in car that keeps asking "Are we there yet?" But then you are supposedly an adult, aren't you?
