I must admit he had every hope there yesterday, ridden correctly, got clear running late and teased, but, no happy ending.

Look if Single Bullet can win a second race, I would not give up on anyone, but if you are with a friend at the races and they say they are going to back SSB, just take the money and buy lunch with it instead

Small field.

No serious speed in the race.

He'll be too fast for them.

Now if you'd had $50 win on him at every start you only needed to have had $550 on him today to break square.Tongue

Lonhro sire of SSB’s sire and dam! Close breeding, not commonly done?

So Si Bon is a 5 year old gelding by So You Think out of the Lonhro mare, Black Minx. He has had 31 starts for 2 wins with the latest start being today when 1st at Caulfield on December 26, 2018 in the Mrc Lord Stakes

Where to for him now? I'm guessing they have a crack at the Australian Cup given it'll be weaker than usual thanks to the All Star Mile, Easter Cup at Caulfield could be more his level as well

Knowing the stable they are probably aiming at one of those group 1's in Hong Kong.

Champions Mile or the 2000m cup race they have at that time.

Yes it would.

Have a look at him in the early stages as he settled in front, he was wanting to savage the fresh air.

He'll be a good chance in the Orr, normally it is just resuming stayers, stallion prospects looking for a cheap Group 1 and occasionally a decent sprinter.

The Orr is never that bad that SSB could win it. Tell 'em they're dreaming.

You are probably right, there is normally at least 1 who is Group 1 class at 1400m in the field, I'd guess Hartnell for one will likely show up again.
