deserves a thread now, such a good honest horse
He's still in the guineas next week, wonder if they'll back him up?

The horse looks a weighted special this Saturday... what price would Impending / Divine Prophet be in this field? Think he is being underated here with a lot of hype behind the Sydney horses... took $5.5!

Have to agree SYT. He's very underrated. Even in the Stutt stakes I couldn't believe he started around the $6-$7 mark and won with ease.

Looks an each way bet to nothing when $2 the place is offered.

I tend to agree SYT but the query I have is the barrier. All his best races he has settled midfieldish but from that barrier I can see him being snagged and having to make up a bit of ground in the straight. I haven't done a speed map yet but if had had drawn better I would be all over him like a fat kid on a cup cake.

Very keen on the horse. He's my best bet for the day. Personally I don't mind the barrier because it means he will have clear running.

I agree he's been underrated this entire preparation. Don't quite know why. He has a very good trainer. Maybe the unfashionable jockey?

I like him and there doesn't appear to be a lot of speed in the race so you would assume he will go forward. Hope I am right because the 1600m start at Flemington is not a place you want to be posted wide.

Yeah, you don't want to get posted 3 wide into the breeze at Flemington. But there are only 12 runners and the can go forward or back. Always need luck in running whether drawn the outside or the inside.

Unless one of these Sydney horses really steps up, I think he can sit 3 wide and still win.

Acatour and Mortons Fork will be behind him in the run and I think he should have them covered. Bezel is the one that interests me as he has the profile of a horse that could improve but I don't bet on potential.

Yeah, barrier not ideal... I jumped in to the all-in price at $5 for a few doubles, but will be going again if the market keeps pushing these Sydney horses.

I give Bezel a good chance, just on where he's likely to be in the run, but the price for Comin' Through is ridiculous.

Backed him his last two starts.

Welcome into the Bandwagon, I will give you an accurate assessment of his chances this week later in the day.

Comin' Through not hopeless but I question why Walker would be riding it and not Bowman.

Looks well in - Hey Doc.

Anyone done a speed map?

I took the $41 Mt Panorama & he just about wins it last start (along with a few other unlucky ones).

Have a look at his run.

Speed Map; They will run around 1.37.0 if there is no breeze to contend with and a good track.
Don't worry about what happens in between time.

Not a fast run race, hope they all haven't trained off.

Taken the $5.50 this morning, looks a very good bet if he hasn't bottomed out.

You can have $6 right now, if they let you use the 'boost' feature at Sportsbet

I may be wrong but I don't think Bowman was offered the ride. I think Walker was always the choice down there due to his relationship with the owners via Criterion.

Different class ... stick with the Doc!

His only "failure" has been his 3rd in what looks like being a strong renewal of the Caulfied Guineas.

What price would either of the quinella be in this?

Grab the overs!Thumbs Up

Certainly a nice race, and some up and comers in Bezel, Mortons Fork, Comin Through and Violate all in the exotics ... Hey Doc is the "banker" though.
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

With all the love for the Doc expect him to continue to firm. So far $5.50 to $4.60.

Have backed The Doc at his last two starts;

A Win at the Valley and last start where he could of won a group one with a better run in transit.

A very tough horse which you need to be a Flemington.

I ain't deserting you now Doc, please bring me the chocolate's again.
