The court will decide in June if the rest of his sentence for recklessly endangering a police officer will be suspended.
Pffft ..."recklessly endangering a police officer" ... is that even an offence??? In his remarks, Justice Barr also noted a senior officer in Alice springs had expressed concern about Voller being bailed to BushMob, because it was not a locked down facility. But he said the officer's concerns had been addressed by the proposal that Voller would wear an electronic monitoring bracelet. I feel safer already!!!... How fcuking stupid are they in Melbourne ... if they had just made Dimitrious Gargasoulas wear a bracelet ... "The grant of bail will give Dylan Voller the chance to prove his good behaviour." ... yes, he's NEVER been given THAT chance ... stop it my sides hurt! Justice Barr added the strong emphasis put on therapeutic assistance for post-traumatic stress disorder and other conditions at the rehabilitation facility was suitable to Voller's needs. "Dylan Voller will have the support of a psychiatrist, psychologist and a GP [at BushMob]," he said. What!? ...No Ass Wiper??? ... I'm OUTRAGED!!! |

People will be drawing straws to see who is going to be lucky enough to work with him.
And I just wonder who will be paying for all this care he is to get, while our service veterans can get sweet nothing !!

Good to see some balance coming through.
Dylan Voller tells NT child detention inquiry that anger led to ‘empty threatsDylan Voller’s first cross-examination before the Northern Territory child detention royal commission has revealed a catalogue of incidents of foul, threatening and violent behaviour and raised doubts about the reliability of his evidence. The inquiry heard yesterday that Mr Voller threw urine on youth justice officers, defecated in clothing and around his cell, and once spat at a nurse who arrived to check him for self-harm. The former Don Dale and Alice Springs inmate, now aged 19 and out on bail after a lengthy sentence for crimes including attempting to run down a police officer, admitted to telling “white lies” on occasion but denied misleading the commission. Mr Voller explained inconsistencies in his statements — including naming the wrong guards — as “typing” and communication errors, but struggled with his memory when details from incident reports and other documents were put to him. Solicitor for the Northern Territory Sonia Brownhill asked Mr Voller whether, in 2011, he had threatened the family of an Alice Springs-based guard who put paper over a window Mr Voller was “tapping on”. “You threatened youth justice worker Tasker saying: ‘When I see you in the street I’m going to spit in your face, you fat white c... . I’m going to rape your wife and your granddaughter when I get out of here’,” Ms Brownhill said. Mr Voller replied: “I can’t remember the incident.” Later that night, he allegedly threw food, graffitied walls and pledged to burn down the man’s house with his family inside. Mr Voller’s lawyer, Peter O’Brien SC, accused Ms Brownhill of attempting to “humiliate” his client and sully his reputation, but Commissioner Margaret White said it was important for the inquiry to hear the “day-to-day difficulties that these largely untrained officers” were facing. The inquiry heard claims the youth justice officer Mr Voller allegedly threatened — Derek Tasker, who has twice been acquitted of assaulting him — left work one day saying to Mr Voller, “See you, I’m going home to f. k your mum”, as a provocation. “Because of what he said, I ended up going off a lot more, punching walls, kicking doors,” Mr Voller said. “I do acknowledge that I did make empty threats that were completely immature, that I never meant and I never followed through with. I just said that because I was angry and I apologise to all those people that I have said silly things to.” Mr Voller’s unexpected reappearance at the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the NT comes amid a major stoush over procedural fairness. He was said last year to be too fragile to undergo cross-examination and was not expected to return after his testimony in December. Ms Brownhill said the Territory had since been invited to question him, without saying why he was now “suitably capable”. “The mere fact of a contest between Mr Voller’s version of an event and another person’s version raises issues of credibility and … needs to be explored,” she said. |

NT Government has royal commission conflict of interest, Dylan Voller's lawyer saysBy Neda Vanovac Posted 20 minutes ago Gruelling questioning of Dylan Voller about his childhood behaviour has been likened to having a "blowtorch" applied, with the teenager's lawyer criticising the NT Government for its "adversarial approach" during the NT child protection royal commission hearings. Mr Voller, 19, underwent intensive cross-examination on Thursday by NT Solicitor-General Sonia Brownhill, who questioned him about his misbehaviour at school, his threats to self-harm, and threats against officers while incarcerated. She said on Thursday that Mr Voller's credibility as a witness at the Royal Commission into Youth Detention and Child Protection had been questioned and his characterisation of his own behaviour in detention was a "gross understatement". "Mr Voller's made numerous allegations about his treatment in detention, in order to understand that treatment and to understand the actions of youth justice officers in reaction to it... it's necessary to understand his behaviour and the extreme nature of that behaviour," she said. Voller responded to many of her questions about his past criminal offences, assaults, and threats by saying he could not recall them.
He told reporters outside Darwin's Supreme Court on Friday that Mr Voller had a number of issues known to authorities. "You're talking about a young person, still young, who's traumatised… who has, as a matter of public knowledge — but certainly known to the Government because he was in their care — to have a great deal of psychological and psychiatric conditions," he said. He said Mr Voller's troubled childhood was no secret.
"You were a child, you're being cross-examined about times at which you'd been threatening to kill yourself, or trying to kill yourself, or trying to hurt yourself; it's a very serious proposition to cross-examine anyone about that." He said Ms Brownhill's cross-examination of Mr Voller was "very gruelling": "the blowtorch was put right upon him", he said. Despite Mr Voller's violent past, Mr O'Brien said that "nothing justifies what happened to him" when he was abused by staff in youth detention in Alice Springs and Darwin between the ages of about 11 and 18 NT Government's involvement 'adversarial'Mr O'Brien questioned the NT's attitude towards the royal commission. "They have taken an adversarial approach, not only representing the departments and ministers but also those against whom complaints have been made," he said.

Sickening ....
Any Psychiatric conditions this Psychopath , Voller , may have , doesn't make his victims less dead. He is a murder waiting to happen and those who think his type need special considerations that place members in Society in more danger are more mad than he is . We need to get these people off the streets and monitored , if that means returning to the Old Institutional asylum then so be it . That way thousands of lives will be saved over time.

Voller is the perfect example of the typically dangerous Psychopath. He knows nothing else . >>> Born with it , will be with him forever , and innocents will be maimed & killed as a result of it. The drug scene adds to the severity and the increasing numbers . The same applies to the Sudanese gangs in Melbourne , They know nothing else and hopefully our Governments will one day stop importing the worlds insanity to our welfare systems shores. But don't hold your breath , >>> Their vote is worth more than our lives.

You've just gotta love the ABC's take on it ... "a difficult child" ... at least they are consistent ... remember they referred to him in the Cut Corners report as "a boy" never a youth ... just sickening, and the outcome will ensure that the production line of offenders just like him will continue uninterrupted.

Some interesting reporting on the evidence being given at the RC.
Seems that the Cut Corners reporter was misleading as well as biased ... fcuk no, surely they don't use SOPHISTRY too!? Gee, the ones I really feel sorry for are the SJW's who almost lost their minds virtue signaling when this load of trash was put to air ... hope it gets a run on Q&A and The Project on Monday! Four Corners report ‘unbalanced’The Four Corners program that sparked the Don Dale royal commission was “the antithesis of a balanced report” and instead “calculated to have maximum sensationalist impact”, according to the then corrections minister, John Elferink. The accusations can be revealed after Don Dale royal commission backflipped on an earlier move to shield the ABC from Mr Elferink’s criticisms, at the behest of the broadcaster’s lawyers, by unredacting sections of his statement it had previously withheld. In the statement to the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the NT tendered this morning, Mr Elferink said he had sought assurances in advance from the ABC’s reporter, Caro Meldrum-Hanna, that the program would not be a “hatchet job”. “Meldrum-Hanna said words to the effect that any story which she produced would be balanced because she was bound by the highest editorial and journalistic standards in the country because she worked for the ABC and its flagship program Four Corners,” the statement said. “The Four Corners program which was ultimately broadcast and which was the catalyst for the calling of this Royal Commission was the antithesis of a balanced report and was in fact misleading. “By way of example, vision of alleged assaults being perpetrated on detainees was accompanied by assertions that the government had done nothing in relation to such matters when it was a matter of public record that officers had been criminally prosecuted for some of the incidents broadcast by the ABC and, moreover, had been acquitted.” The statement accused the ABC of omitting other crucial facts and of failing to seek a proper response to the only new information the report presented: the CCTV footage of incidents that had already been investigated. Earlier, The Don Dale royal commission had agreed to shield the ABC from criticism by redacting paragraphs attacking the controversial Four Corners program from a statement provided by former corrections minister John Elferink, following a request from the broadcaster’s lawyers. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/business/media/nt-royal-commission-shields-abc-four-corners-don-dale-program/news-story/a46a8c0e9d6af7da24097b56452d4b50 |

... congratulations to Chanel 9 and 60 Minutes!
In spite of numerous valid challengers of late, from an all star field, they have just wrested the mantle as the most irrelevant source of legitimate news in the universe! In case you missed it, their piece on the future "role model" and aspiring "law student", Dylan Voller, will rank amongst some of the worst pap journalism ever produced, anywhere, ever. From excusing him for every one of his more than 50 offences - as they were all "inevitable" due to his sad childhood - to replaying 10 times, the same 3 pieces of tape of a young Voller in correctional cells being disciplined (that have been replayed on every station 1,000 times before). From the obligatory shot of him in the restraints and spit hood, which was explained as he stated he had been "feeling suicidal" (no mention that he had threatened to snap his own arm and use it a s a weapon, and had spat on staff over 300 times) to the cynical mention of the similarity to Guantanamo Bay (Good Grief!) by his solicitor ... it was simply a rip off and re-run of the most "unbalanced" parts of the Cut Corners debacle - but without any attempt to even as for a comment from the corrective services, police, prosecutors, his victims or anyone for that matter, who might dispute any of the sycophantic drivel that Liz Hayes was able to summons. If you get the opportunity to watch it, do yourself a favour and watch an episode of Q&A instead! |

Dylan Voller played his part very well.
A true Psychopath is well known for that ability. All doors are open for him to prove so many wrong but put your house on it;- > He will make headlines when the dust settles, for all the wrong reasons. Anyone ask the question :- If a madman isn't restrained as Voller was , What is the alternative. |

Dylan Voller and his mother arrested at Alice Springs rallyUpdated 11 minutes ago Former Don Dale detainee Dylan Voller and his mother have been arrested by police at a rally in Alice Springs. The pair were part of a large group of people protesting against deaths in custody and youth detention. The protestors marched from the courthouse to a busy intersection on the Stuart Highway when police asked people to get off the road. Mr Voller's sister Kirra was addressing the crowd and said he and their mother The ABC understands six people were arrested altogether. NT Police confirmed the pair had been arrested. In a Facebook live from inside the police watch house in Alice Springs Dylan Voller apologised to his sister, Kirra. "Sorry for putting you under stress," he said. "I guess I'll just have to go back and do my time, take it on the chin. "This is my f*** up, this is my f*** up and I'll take it, but I didn't get locked up for nothing. "Black lives matter ... more importantly justice for Elijah [Doughty]. Elijah Doughty, 14, was killed when he was run over in Kalgoorlie in August 2016, sparking protests and riots in the town. In July, the driver responsible for the boy's death was jailed for three years which also caused public protests across the country including New South Wales, Melbourne, Alice Springs and Perth. They can lock people up for a peaceful protest and put them away, but what are they going to do to the ... old white racist people when they kill our young brothers and sisters ... nothing." Else Kennedy was videoing the protest and said the peaceful rally turned violent when police tried to move people off the road.
"At that point people were pushed off the road [and] six people were arrested. "In the scuffle a camera person who was filming one of the arrests was knocked to the ground and was then kicked by a police officer." Voller centre of Don Dale controversyVoller came to national attention last year when he was shown tied to a restraint chair in a Four Corners episode on youth detention in the Northern Territory. The episode resulted in Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announcing a Royal Commission into the detention centres the next day. The Royal Commission into Youth Detention and Protection began hearing evidence at the end of 2016 and a final report from commissioners Mick Gooda and Margaret White is expected in November. Since the episode aired, a number of former detainees, including Voller, have also brought lawsuits against the Northern Territory Government seeking compensation for alleged mistreatment while in jail. |

Can't speak for actual events.
But find it interesting to say the least that according to an Alice Springs Council spokesperson the police were called in to stop/move the protest because the participants "didn't have a permit to hold a rally".
Which smacks of a Police State mentality more common in places like Russia and China imo.

It is actually the way things are all over the place now. If you want to hold a rally you have to apply and stick as the above says, to a designated area. I agree it is disgraceful. |
