He’s going well. Just needs it longer and a bit weaker.
He will win a race this prep

Ive got zero doubt that Brissy is weaker than Melbourne. Especially for a horse that's only won 2 from 25 with supposedly a great trainer steering him around

I’m so happy to see this horse win another race, has a lot of talent but has struggled through injury. Survived a severe broken leg and lengthy surgery too.

Great to see him go back to back

Wonder where they go next with him? Maybe the Lord Reims Stks 2600m (G3) and if he aims up there, have a go at the Adelaide Cup 3200m (G2).

This prep he’s been trained at Weirs new farm at (ex Trevenson Park) Baringhup, near Maldon.
He likes having his own space.

On breeding this horse has no right to be Adelaide Cup favourite. He is by sprinting sire War Pass. No other progeny by War Pass has won beyond 2200m in Australia. His half siblings out of his dam Debutante Robe are also sprinters. But there's no doubt Bondeiger can stay. After all he's won over 2600m. He's a statistical outlier.

But can he extend that to 3200m? It's only another 600m, but on breeding he shouldn't be able to.
