Debuts today at Echuca for Mick Price.

He has such a stupendously good pedigree everybody would be hoping he succeeds and is eventually retired as a 6yo unbeaten in 26 starts.

now with Tony Romeo at Diggers Rest.
Don't know much about Romeo but he does have We're Gonna Rock in his stable, on a side note, that horse should of been retired years ago.

Ran last today for the third start in a row.
Probably should be moved from the STALLIONS section though, now a gelding.

After numerous runs at 1000m, 1100m and 1400m last start, steps up to 2200m for the first time today and lobs into a place at $21.00 place dividend.

I'm sure there's some sort of story behind this as it's not something Romeo has done before. I know it was only a 58BM but still quite a training feat considering the record of both horses Clap

I think that rightly so there is a Punters Inquiry right here on this forum.

The form was quite shocking on both of Prestwick and Rinaldo.

Prestwick has been last or 2nd last since his last win 20 out 24 races.....
Rinaldo at least had 2 wins over the Synthetic surface - albeit 2 years ago.

Amazingly Prestwick like he wanted to be out there.

Rinaldo - raced keenly passing the 1600m. Over the concluding stages laid out and bumped with Miss Cavatica. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer Tony Romeo explained that he had changed the geldings work regime stepped it up in distance but could offer no other explanation.

Prestwick - raced wide until passing the 1500m before obtaining a position outside the leader. Rider Lee Smith reported that the gelding settled forward as the gelding was stepping up in distance however he did concede he encouraged slightly in the early stages. When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer Tony Romeo explained that he had changed the geldings work regime stepped it up in distance but could offer no other explanation. A post race swab sample was taken for analysis.
