Friday- Court of Appeal- RV will seek leave to appeal- if granted, it will be heard that day apparently- written submissions would already have been given.
I believe the trainers could possibly counter appeal aspects of the judgement if they too can prove a poin of law..

Nah, he's blaming 'several' for decimating his business, his words following his last win....wherever that was.....caught the interview and had to chuckle.....DOB is still training winners though, maybe his vitamin bottles were different to Kav's, will we ever learn what really went down? a best seller that, break all records.

Atlantic City. Battlecamp and Borde de Gain are the only horses older than 3 in amongst that current stable list.

He said recently that he got rid of all his older horses.

Kav is a nice guy.
Not someone I’d want to train my horse though. Just my two cents.

Not sure if this true or not, but he seems to have lost a lot of his main owners.

And with guys like McEvoy, Kennewell and of course DK, becoming stronger (especially McEvoy with the youngsters), he has been left in their wake.

The lifeblood of stables are owners, and if you get offside with one or two of your wealthier or high number producing owners, then you are dead in the water.

It is a bit like Anthony Cummings, He goes through periods where he is going great guns, and that is because his main supply of owners are breeders, who can go through periods of low quality yearlings, but when they get a good crop, they are hot.
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Hilarious that Battlecamp has returned to his stable. Absolute cat. It should have stayed put in SA with Hickmott. Much better placed over there.

Was just watching Whobegotyou winning the Guineas, and Michael Rodd interviewed. He said the horse made a half mile run. Wonder why? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Exactly like Shamus Award imo in the Caulfield Guineas... then a few mths after the Cox Plate he couldn't get out of his own shadow.

Running through walls one minute....gone the next... Textbook!!!

Never overlook Undoubtedly's Blue Diamond win. Lethargic in the Prelude. Absolutely charged home in the Blue Diamond to win running away. It was an electrifying burst.
He never fired at stud. Had no spark at all.

Failed in one run, first appearance clockwise on a wet track where he did everything wrong. From memory he and Puccini carved each other up in front. Predictably went to stud straight after. Not the first horse and won’t be the last to put in a shocker like that.

By Oaks day it will be 1980 days, can the second favourite end his run before 2000 days are up?

By my count this is now up to 2708 days today and given he has no nominations tomorrow or for the 3 WA G1 events, that would put him at 2807 days by the CF Orr day next year.

Can we get Kav over the line as Subby did with David Hayes a few years ago?

He certainly doesn't have that swagger of a few years back, might be a few mil lighter in the pocket too, although if the rumour mill is correct, the payout by the rogue vet they are suing will help ease some pain.
