we only have two types of weather in NSW...months of dry...or months of rain...the latter when Randwick carnivals are looming...

Melbourne is annoying because you have to carry a sun-hat, raincoat, ski jacket and wind-breaker just to get through one day...

.....and the winner is, Siddenee ! Melbourne has a Mediterranean climate, maybe that it is why it has more Greeks than any city other than Athens.

The best way to make it rain in Sydney is to have a racing carnival.

I think James needs to move to the country for a few years. He'll never complain about rain again.

I love the rain mate.

I love the seasons. The freshness of spring. The crispness of winter. The warmth of summer. The earthliness of autumn.

I love the rain.

so so true.  it bucketed down here last night .  and we needed it too.  only thing is, now the undergrowth will flourish, and there will be no clearing or burning in the National Park near here, thanks to the greenies, so one has to hope like hell some idiot camper doesnt let a fire get away, or it takes a hit of lightning, because it will never be stopped if fire gets going.

Disappointed by NSW folk this evening. Twitter going off over the Sydney storms, yet nothing here on TBV. Twitter would have you believe the end of the world is nigh.

Are you confusing your breakfast with your geography JBE?
