This oddly named individual just put in one of the best performances of the year taking out Race R4 at Ascot.

That was only his second start after a Maiden win at Bunbury.

Has a future.

BTW, another first up Bunbury Maiden winner also won at his second start last Wednesday and also looks a smarty - Classical Prince.

One hell of a horse. If this isn't east coast material it must have been racing cart horses.

Rode for years as a bloke, then took time off, then came back as a sheila.
John Berry gave her her first ride back as a she.

Well the horse certainly had a motor

Would like to see if the change to a small stable can have an effect and if they have been able to pick up any reason as to why he has been performing so badly for the last year or so

Yeh legless

That race was run at high tempo from the start and won in a time of 1.21.06 for 1400. He was beaten just on 6 lens in a time of 1.22.1. The 2 other Group 3 races over 1400m were won in about 1.22.0

I think it was a reasonable return for a horse that had not raced for 9 months and looked gone.
Would like to see a couple more runs from him before saying he is finished!!!

I thought he did an okay job. Mick wouldn’t muck around with him if he didn’t think he could get back to his old form, wouldn’t be surprised to see him competitive in some country Cup races over the Autumn.

Only paid $14k for him, I’m not giving up on him just Ye t. Showed enough first up off a long spell. Expect to see some improvement in his next couple of starts.

I saw tat time Spearmint and it was on 2 tenths off Loveys record which must be nearing 30 years old.

No wonder Widgee Turf ran against the advantage fo being no wider than 2 off the fence in the straight.

Not sure I would be potting anyone from that race, except maybe Seaburge!
