How stupid do they get , and will some ever learn.
ABBOTT on radio this morning making good sense until he starts on his target of 50% Ladies as Politicians and 50% on the Front Bench. We really need more Jackie Lambies & Sarah Hanson-Youngs. I Think the true reason for such thinking is the availability of Crumpet in Canberra , after the Winter Break. Barnaby isn't the only one who has had the fingers "in the till". They aren't as vocal about getting 50% of the Ladies into the Coal Mines or the local Slaughter House. |

Are right wing leaning women not capable of being parliamentarians, or is that the view of right leaning men?

I have a target of exercising 5 times a week, eating 3 healthy meals a day, not drinking coffee or alcohol- targets are bullsh1t- that's why the Coalition has them and not quotas.

All good having healthy dietary targets as long as you aren't being force fed cream buns and potato chips twice a day, and have the option of choosing the healthy options.
Liberal pre-selections aren't reflecting choice rather mandates according to reports. |

At this time it should be obvious that Women can't make up a high percentage in Parliament. The instinct of so many women , is having Family and making them their main priority. That interferes with all the lead ups , education levels etc. Will probably change more over time but surely , We can't have too many Jackie Lambies , Hanson-Youngs , managing anything. EVEN WINX gets a 2K advantage for being female. |

Look at New Zealand - being a politician, let alone a Prime Minister isn't exactly a demanding job to start with - just another public servant with ridiculously generous leave entitlements - maybe they could just "job share" political leadership on the left, or make it a 9 till 3 work day to match school hours for all the girls who promise to do the job, but then get themselves knocked up - maybe Bullgelati Bill is effeminate enough to lead the ALP/Greens Collusion after all!
Seriously, the ALP and the Greens are a hopeless joke. ... they have simply raised their hands and sworn that they will NEVER have a political party that can compete with one that selects it's representatives based on merit ... goooooone!

Chancellor Angela Merkel doesn't exactly have an easy job trying to herd all those
right wing nutter cats in Germany, but the leader of the free world is
in her 14th year of leading Germany, Europe and now the the world with
the US out to lunch till Mr Mueller sorts things out..

Is Cory Bernardi as thick as he appears to be? What is he, ex-footballer? Oh, ex-rower. It figures. On Q & A last night- dude says why don't we pay junkie women not to have children? Cory superbrain says, oh no no no- can't possibly spend taxpayer money on that. As if junkies pumping out neglected children at rabbit rate doesn't cost the taxpayer. Do the math, stupid Cory.

Poor Cory is struggling to be noticed since he shafted the Liberal Party to sell his own sad message. He put all his political eggs into his home state a few months ago and got a huge kick in the arse. Nobody who is even remotely serious is listening to Cory or those rabbits in the Leyonhejlm cesspool.

Merkel leader of the free world? There's the best laugh I'll have today. She's not even the leader of Europe. Donald Tusk, Jean Claude Junker and Antonio Tajani have that role in hand.
Germany hasn't even got around to handing back all their ill gotten Nazi gains from WW2. They're hardly the material for moral leadership of any other country. |

it was Sarah Hanson Young who said all men were rapists .
She must have been speaking from experience to have such know how. I will plead not guilty for sure , unless I missed the pleasure during a white out. Now I ask you , Do you agree Mr L gave her exactly what she needed or is he only half right. |

Really? Mr Leyonhjelm was given the opportunity on 2 programs last night to support his claim with evidence. Seems however that he has had a memory fade and he cant remember exactly what she said now. It was probably one of two things, but he got the spirit of what she allegedly said, and remarkably Hansard didn't pick up her vile comment, so he will no doubt end up be the victim here. Nobody has come forward to support his version and his two mates on Sky have apologised and a producer stood down. Either that or he is just lying.

WA Minister Dave Kelly accused of 'feigning headbutt' at Mia Davies in ParliamentUpdated 22 Jun 2018, 10:49am WA Nationals Leader Mia Davies has lodged a formal complaint to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly over an incident involving Water Minister Dave Kelly. Nationals MP Vince Catania said he witnessed Mr Kelly "feign a headbutt" towards Ms Davies while she was on her feet speaking in Parliament's Lower House. Ms Davies did not return calls, but her spokesman confirmed she had lodged a complaint in writing with Speaker Peter Watson. 'While this matter is under consideration she will not be making any further comment," her spokesman said. Mr Catania said Mr Kelly should apologise to Ms Davies, and if he did not, Premier Mark McGowan should make him."I was very shocked to see the way that that member behaved in such a way, in such an angry manner, towards the Leader of the Nationals," Mr Catania said. "He feigned a headbutt, it's unparliamentary, he should apologise and apologise to Parliament for his actions." In a statement, Mr Kelly dismissed the claims.
WA Premier Mark McGowan said the accusation was nothing more than "politicking on the eve of a by-election". The seat of disgraced former Labor MP Barry Urban, Darling Range, will go to an election on Saturday. "I was there, I saw nothing," Mr McGowan said. "I watched the video, there's nothing. Dave Kelly says nothing occurred and it's Vince Catania who launched the attack. "It's muck-racking on the eve of a by-election." Parliamentary vision does not show Mr Kelly making such a gesture, but the footage is inconclusive as he does not appear the frame the whole time. The incident occurred after Ms Davies had moved a motion calling for Agriculture Minister Alannah MacTiernan's resignation, claiming the sector had lost confidence in the Government and its minister over her handling of live export issues. Mr Catania immediately tried to make a point of order with the Speaker, alleging Mr Kelly had moved his head towards Ms Davies, but Mr Watson dismissed it. Ms Davies later made her complaint in writing to Mr Watson.http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-21/dave-kelly-accused-of-feigned-headbutt-towards-mia-davies/9896236 |

Wonder if Sarah will be supported?
Fiery scenes in WA Parliament as female MPs reveal colleagues' offensive behaviourUpdated 27 Jun 2018, 7:54am Media player: "Space" to play, "M" to mute, "left" and "right" to seek. A fiery and emotional debate has erupted in the Western Australian Parliament about the treatment of female MPs in the wake of an incident last week when a senior minister was accused of "feigning a headbutt" towards Nationals leader Mia Davies. Ms Davies referred the alleged behaviour of Water Minister Dave Kelly to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly last Thursday, claiming it "bordered on intimidatory". But on Tuesday Speaker Peter Watson said he would not take the complaint any further and was satisfied Mr Kelly "did not move his head in the Member's direction". Mr Kelly has repeatedly denied the allegation and has the support of the Premier Mark McGowan who said the allegations were "fabricated". PHOTO: Transport Minister Rita Saffioti was one of several female MP's who passionately spoke out against poor treatment of women in Parliament. (ABC News) But the response sparked an emotional plea from Ms Davies, who urged her colleagues to refer the matter to a powerful committee for further investigation. "I'm happy to come to this place, I am happy to be criticised, I am happy to have members opposite pull our policy apart ... we expect that," she told the chamber. "But I expect that when one member of this place says they feel uncomfortable, that it is not mocked by those opposite." 'Extraordinarily offensive'At times Ms Davies was close to tears, saying the moment was "disconcerting" and bordered on intimidation.
Ms Davies said the Government's reaction in dismissing her allegation had been "appalling". "That to me is the very reason why people don't raise complaints of this nature in the workplace and it is extraordinarily offensive," she said. Media player: "Space" to play, "M" to mute, "left" and "right" to seek. Deputy Liberal leader Liza Harvey called the Government's response "disgraceful". "The biggest challenge is getting people to stand up and ask for help," she said. "They don't want to feel more vulnerable and they don't want to be ridiculed and they don't want to be dismissed. "They don't want to have someone say, 'she made that up' and be made to look like an idiot." 'Stick to your knitting'The debate sparked impassioned arguments from both sides of politics, including a handful of female Labor MPs who bared their own confronting moments. "I remember being told to stick to my knitting," Police Minister Michelle Roberts said. "People commenting ... about my appearance, among other things, and a lot of other nasty stuff." PHOTO: Ms Davies said the government's dismissal of her complaint was "extraordinarily offensive". (ABC News: Jacob Kagi ) Transport Minister Rita Saffioti spoke candidly about facing incessant "heckling" while in opposition, even when she had revealed she was trying IVF to have a child and had suffered a "miscarriage scare". "In my maiden speech, the former premier (Colin Barnett) heckled me and he didn't stop for eight-and-a-half-years," she said. But she said the headbutt allegation "wasn't true", dismissing it as a political stunt before the Darling Range by-election. "I understand this is a tough place ... but to try and undermine the Minister for Water in this way ... is completely out of order," she said. The motion to have the complaint referred to the Procedure and Privileges Committee was voted down. |

The reason that Hansard didn't record it, is because SHE didn't complain at the time! Maybe she's not quite as stupid as everyone thinks!!! Her own self assessment by reference to the comments about her as "slut shaming" is revealing and clearly exonerates Leyonhjelm. Maybe she is stupid after all. Anyway, he's just given this imbecile too much relevance. He should just apologise to the tart, tell her it's not his business how many blokes she screws, explain to her that Father's Day is not a day to celebrate "when the fleet comes in for shore leave", and offer her a pallet load of "johnies" as a peace offering! |

To have this even discussed in parliament gives you an indication of how low they have sunk , private life that offends no one is Private , if this bloke spoke the words attributed to him he needs to be pulled over the coals and be made to make a full public apology imo.

The irony of all of this is that it was during a motion to allow women to carry self defence items like pepper spray and tazors.
Sarah Pantsdown-Young voted against it, Leyonhjelm voted for it ... I guess she doesn't need to be defended, if she never goes out on her own ... PS: She is well known as a #metoo bandwagoner, and she was supporting a statement from another irrelevant Greens Senator - Janet Rice* - "If only men would stop doing things to women none of this would be necessary". If she didn't say verbatim what she has been accused of, I think we can be satisfied that it was in the same context.
*Janet Rice is a Greens Lesbian, best known for this statement ... “We need to correct this crude myth that children result from the sexual activity of a man and a woman. We all know that this cannot be the case because all relationships are equal, and we need to be teaching our children the truth that babies are delivered from the Stork, at the request of the parent/s. To maintain otherwise is discriminatory and might even suggest that some relationships are more natural than others.” WOULD YOU SERIOUSLY GIVE ANY ONE OF THESE GREENS A REAL JOB???
