Any word on Indonesia declaring no cooperation with us?
Has anyone seen Malcolm? He delivered his New Years Day Abbott like death cult cheery message, had a heap of Muslim cricketers over to Kirribill House for NY and hasn't been sighted since

It shouldn't be too hard for her to prove she didn't have pre-approved finance nor contact with the vebdor.
Also, if she was on Ministerial duty only and had not contemplated a purchase before stumbling across said property, what was her husband doing traveling with her on the public purse? Tones could slot straight into her portfolio, he has prior experience destroying Health

Derryn Hinch's Justice Party
A uniformed policeman approached me in a Melbourne coffee shop yesterday just after I got back from Canberra. He seemed more frustrated and disillusioned than angry. After he shook my hand, and thanked me for our campaign for tougher sentences, he explained his mood. He’d just heard about that man who walked free from Dandenong Magistrate’s Court after deliberately running over a policeman and smashing into an ambulance and police car outside a McDonald’s at Heatherton. Fawad Raoofi, 28, of Mentone wasn’t sentenced to one day in jail after leaving police officer Patrick Bolger with broken ribs and continuing health problems. Raoofi’s excuse: He was high on ice and couldn’t remember his violent behaviour. Imagine getting picked up drink-driving and then claiming as your excuse that you were drunk and couldn’t remember doing it. Too pissed to be convicted of the crime. No wonder coppers are fed up after risking their lives, doing the hard work, and getting dangerous crims to court only to be betrayed by weak magistrates and judges. Raoofi, an Afghan national, was in a stolen car in which he’d committed other crimes. The magistrate did ban him from driving – for two days. He said he needed his licence because he was his mother’s carer. The softie on the bench bought that one too. Fawad Raoofi should be sent back to Afghanistan. He’s negated any refugee compassion. |

That's fair! ... of course, every politician who ever bought a cup of coffee when they were on a funded trip to carry out their ministerial duties, would be required to refund their expenses as well ... Good Grief! ... the jealousy, hypocrisy and complete nonsense of the left knows no bounds!

Seems Ms. Sussan #leybuys made two other taxpayer funded trips to the Gold Coast in the month before her ''impulse purchase'' of the luxury unit from a Liberal donor.
Her statement yesterday has more than a few holes in it. Will Turnbull finally find some balls during his break and sack her, and Cory and give the public a reason to trust him, if that tax payer funded private jet hasn't already flown? Doubt it very much, spine is not his thing. Another year of chaos with Turnbull on his knees awaiting the sword. to the back of the neck.

Actually I think all the politicians should be leading by example. They should cut back expenses and probably entitlements same as they expect everyone else to. It shouldn't be us and them it's all of us together. If you expect people to bite the bullet then you have to be seen to do the same thing. That is good leadership. It's like children being taught yelling is a form of child abuse yet they think if they yell it's alright. Only works if everyone are in the same boat.

"I’m shocked and stunned. A member of the ca. $300 million property owning political class purchased another negatively geared property while on a taxpayer funded holiday?
Why so surprised? Apart from working in the private sector post-career (first ensuring the right sort of companies get the right sort of grants, bids and business from you while Minister) and the lavish non means or age tested parliamentary pensions (although nowhere near a CEO’s abhorrent’s salary or golden parachute), what else is someone of the political class to do but join in the Australian dream? This is Ley’s third investment property, which is above the average for the non-political class negative gearer (usualyl just the one), and above the 2.5 average properties per politician. She’s not going to resign on the trumped up shock from the benches of the ALP – whose members own similar sized property portfolios and enjoy the rorts thereof – and neither is negative gearing or other property reforms going to be enacted when the country’s “leaders” are the ones who benefit the most from it. And you thought that the landed gentry were only in the Mother Country?" Chris Becker http://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2017/01/surprised-sussan-leys-property-buy/ |

Are people really stupid enough to think that a highly paid couple with other real estate assets, would not have finances in place to make an acquisition of this type, should the opportunity arise?
Are people stupid enough to think that you MUST be at the auction to buy the property ... never heard of a phone bid? Are people really so stupid that they don't recognise that an auction purchase, is by nature, a purchase "on a whim", since there is certainty of success? This whole complaining and whining by the left is embarrassing, and stupid beyond words.

Are people stupid enough to accept her version of events, or that the $20k in private jet flights to the Gold Coast weeks before are not connected?
Now she is being questioned about $70k in airfares in one week on a visit to the US. when others claimed a fraction of that Liberals have started whining now as well. Is there a market on whether she or Porter is first to get sacked? Will Tones be the Social Services or Health Minister?

If she has done the wrong thing, the precedent has been set (poor Bronnie), off with her head!
Well, the precedent has been set by the Liberals ... on the other hand, the CFMEUALP's "penalty" for similar offences is to sit you on the naughty chair for 10 minutes if you get caught - see corrupt treasonous Senator Disasteryari as an example, or the Victorian Minister for Corrections and Pet Transportation ... good grief, they are the greatest hypocrites of all time! Found guilty of the smallest misdemeanor, I have no problem if they dismiss them, and stripped them of every benefit that came with the job ... in fact, it should be legislated! ... couldn't see the CFMEUALP jumping to support that motion any time this century! However, if she has bought another investment property, and that is all she is "guilty" of, and even if she took an hour out of the day whilst she was up on the Gold Coast (it's called time management and multitasking) I just want the green eyed thumb sucking lefties to stop fcucking demonising her for having a go at creating wealth! ... guess what, chances are, that by investing in real estate, she will make a lot of money, superannuate herself, and wont be a burden on our welfare system as an aged pensioner ... unlike those who feel that welfare is their "entitlement". The hypocrisy of this would of course be bewildering if the CFMEUALP MP Property Investors volunteered to the media the full details of their real estate portfolios ... and how they were built on PUBLIC MONEY + negative gearing |

I see Sussan(formerly Susan) Ley came from Kenya. Maybe Rattler is right about Africans. Can we deport her back there, or wouldn't they have her?
Wow, $11k in jet and CommCar charges to attend a function and watch the cricket with her boyfriend now. 5 trips to the Gold Coast, and tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to travel with her boyfriend to ''impulse buy'' an $800k unit from a generous Lib donor, and by remarkable coincidence said boyfriend is the sole owner of a business only meters away from the unit in question. Murdoch press(that is a joke by the way) are now all over this with the Oz and H-S doing most of the exposing of her expensive taste, all at the punters expense. Once Rupert has decided, it is all over folks.

She has put her hands up and conceded, but not resigned I hope you now hold her to the same standard yo held young Sam over a number of months, although I doubt it. It is also a considerable amount more than the $900 the Liberals tried to imprison Peter Slipper over. I doubt this is finished yet

If she has used tax payer money to do private business, she should pay it back, pay the fines and interest, and resign from the parliament, I agree absolutely ... she is no better than a sponging Centrelink welfare cheat, and deserves the same treatment!
... as does every corrupt lying cheating hypocritical CFMEUALP MP who has done something similar before her ... but that ain't happening from what I understand ...

While I am sure you ;;jusk know'' how rotten the ALP is, that doesn't stand up in any court.
The evidence is pretty clear who the worst crooks are. While I am sure there are Labor members who have incorrectly claimed stuff, or not declared stuff, ICAC claiming a Premier and about a dozen Ministers from the NSW Liberal Party, and the likes of Abbott and his book signing tour at the taxpayer's expense(only a fraction of which he paid back, refusing to pay all of it), he and Stuart Robert and Ian McFarlaine and the infamous bag of Rolexes from a Chinese billionaire, to Robert signing business deals in China at our expense, Hockey and the multitude of offenses by him when the age of entitlement was supposed to be over, and don't forget Bronny, while Abbott(serial offender) and now Joyce refusing to acknowledge or do anything about your snout in trough mob, all adds up to a great heap of unrepentant serial rorters on the right hand side of the aisle.
