 EXPLAINS EVERYTHING...

I've heard you...or your confreres...on talkback radio many times...crying in your beer about being wronged in marriage break-ups...

I've also witnessed the family court...where women have to be secluded in a guarded room before proceedings...for protection...

wonder why I am so anti-misogynist?? be a reporter at the family court...or go through it with a loved one...and you'll know...

No crystal ball, very obvious from your demented misogynist rants that you are another of these guys who sees himself a victim to avaricious, manipulative women and will bear a grudge for the rest of his life.
The sense of injustice of it all even influences your normally rational, but often wrong arguments into making ridiculous statements equating physical prowess with intellectual capacity , helpless rage makes people say some very strange things.

lol Whale .    I do rev up the lines a bit but you must admit the gender garbage has been overdone and doesn't work.      Gillard was a great example of a crazy , mixed up feminist who talked herself into oblivion.   The rehashed mob made a big thing about all the unknown Ladies promoted.   Result = Now in opposition.
They don't give up and now condemn Abbott for not doing what failed them.      The NLP has good reason for the announced front bench and as time passes I am sure some promising Ladies will be promoted.
I would like to see the percentage of what the gender numbers are. How many nominate , how many make it to the front bench.
Ladies hold some very important positions in our world. From Bankers to Governor General.   Ladies also avoid positions without Power , That stands out like a red dress at a funeral.
Screaming for equal numbers in the Infantry , Front line Policing.
Give us a break and get real.

Only just got in and have only just caught up with young max's offering....

So maccamax hows it going standing hidden behind your white-picket fence of annonimity barking at any idea, thought or person who dares not to belong to the 'mainly white/middle-aged/middle-class and male" club.

I will allow that almost all men have a strength differential (approx. 1/3 physically stronger) when direct man / woman comparison is made.  That is the reason there is a difference between mens and ladies tees on a golf course and why there is no 'strength' allowance made in things like shooting or equestrian events.

Not that I really need to prove anything to someone (who thinks) like you but my IQ was assessed fairly early on and I was rated in the upper half of the top percentile of population (& well over the 100 BTW) and "space form aptitude" (spatial awareness) was rated as exceptional   ... over to you

Language skills: spelling and typos aside I've managed to support myself & dependents sufficiently well via my 'language skills' in both IT and Financial spheres analysing and translating specialist and technospeak into plain English to maintain all forms of my horse habit.  ... again over to you

Cars & Driving:  How about we go a few rounds with that old chestnut ...  haven't done it for a while but used to drive (as in compete) in rallies, have a current and demerit free heavy truck licence and can and do most of  the work on my own vehicle.  and you do??

Sports:  ... fancy a game of golf?  sounds good, provided its not your 'home course' fancy a small wager on the side?

Horse Riding? Again its been a while (lost both my endurance competition horses in the '09 fires) but I'm sure I can find us a couple - we'll start off easy, how does a gentle 80kms VERA competition ride sound?

Shooting?  now there's a nice manly sport ... lets not get all woosy and go small bore shall we - how about we head for a decent sized rifle range and have a go at something a tad bigger?  Hmmm again its been a while but I probably should fess up to having participated in the Queens and (used to have) and Oz Army "Marksman" classification.   again, over to you

Cooking:  can you do something more than read a menu and open a jar?  I can and regularly do

Sewing: gee, now that's where you've got me on the ropes Max .. aside from the odd button or patching a horse rug its a real weak spot.

Fell trees, build sheds and fences, start young horses, handle mares, foals and stallions safely and well ... and you Max, what to do you do beside attack that which you perceive as 'weaker' than you?  With all due respect Max something tells me I would chew you up and spit you out so fast you wouldn't even know you'd been reamed let alone "dealt with".

y'all have a nice day now y'hear.   Thumbs Up

suck it up ... Life isn't run at w.f.a. :)

JoH..   Take your medication for the sake of your developing prostate.
I am sure you would spit me out. " wet lips " .
I will just say you have expressed exactly what has been suggested.
A pity you aren't on Tony Abbott's front bench.   With all your deluded skills I am sure you would be " The Speaker ' I mean spruker.

Sorry to say Macca, you're clearly a misogynist of the worst order.

Whoops, I take that back to avoid you heading for a dictionary.  Just make it "someone who has little respect for women".

Macca, let's get one thing straight: I haven't for one mili-second supported Sophie Mirabella.  Never ever.

Indi is essentially a conservative electorate, and the new Member has a similarly conservative background.  The difference between her and the late departed however can't be understated.

It was a ground-swell of disaffected conservatives that led to Cathy McGowan standing for Parliament, whereas the prior incumbent needed to enlist "heavies" such as yesterday's person Peter Costello (Peter who?) and Barnaby Joyce (which didn't go over at all well) when she belatedly realised her refusal to live in the Electorate or genuinely engage with constituents had pretty well p1ssed off voters of most persuasions.

Have traditionally voted Labor but acknowledge the need for change.  Not the least in Indi, but only for a caring Member - not the parachuted failure that Sophie clearly represented to this Electorate.
It's hard to soar with eagles...

Cheers

Run For Fun, do you think your new member in the lower house will have a similar effect for your area like Windsor's and Oakshott's?
That's a serious question by the way. I don't have a high opinion of Sophie Mirabella.

If Abbott is going to be as he promises, a do absolutely nothing govt with front benchers parroting him and allowed only to speak when he tells them, then a loud independent voice will make a difference

.

Good .   I clearly recall you said you gave at least a day a month in the Sophie cause .   Even had been in her company . met her , whatever.     Somewhere a Bookmaker got a mention ,      retired one , if I'm not Senile.       Good call if you voted for someone who offers more to your area.    The new Lady does appear to be popular.
Did Sophie Papledepoulos ever give that Family back the inheritance.   I recall the Courts were to become involved,     Resolved ??
I expect that wouldn't have helped her cause.

That is strange considering the panel is fairly evenly divided between the two sides of the political spectrum with maybe a neutral or Green thrown in.

If you agree with contrasting views expressed I guess you are the original yes man Smile

very good day for australia to be able to now say ''prime minister Tony Abbott.

you can already feel that things are working and focused with the fact they have streamlined the department setup and no press conference last night.

this will be a government that will have press conferences when they have something locked in. not dreamed of.

they will remind the australian people that their job is to get a particular job done. not talked about or organise more studies.

good bye to the 24 hour news cycle of politics because this government is too busy to worry about trying to look good and sound good. they are about doing good.

i can feel it already.

they are building pipelines, deep water ports, train lines to where people want to go and the first two will allow the state to increase rapidly the amount of gas and minerals it can export.

they are building to increase the future revenue of the state. the pain for the next 4 years will see 100 years of increased revenue.

the prosperous time for WA will be in 2 years when all the major gas projects will come on line and then state will then be outputting a lot more. remember, states get royalties when the stuff is dug up out of the ground and sold. not from the building.

they may want to delay some projects if they want it back. the positive is that they are working on building the state for increased revenue potential
