Exactly, the biggest risk as Cosgrove found out is not putting on 10kg a year and the $525k a year salary isn't too shabby, although Cosgrove is already drawing a pension so he is on a paltry $425k

What a great country this is, and has been over the past 5 years of a fiscally responsible LNP Government. Well done ScoMo, Joshy, and Mathias!  MYEFO show us clearly at the top of the class, the strongest growing nation in the G7. A balanced budget beckons next year, and sensible debt reduction follows - unless SHORTENOMICS is introduced, in which case we will have a PROPERTY MARKET CRASH leading us into RECESSION. ... and the ALP response is just so pathetic ... they won't tell us how they will do better, but run with the weak line that "the government has been lucky" ... no, the Country has been lucky and will remain "lucky" as long as we can avoid an ALP/Green Collusion and their policies of ECONOMIC TERRORISM. The most honest statements that Bowen made in his reply to questions was "Well, we don't know ..." and said that repeatedly! #nevershorten

Looks like a March election report. You couldn't risk limping to May and be exposed by a full budget.
Fill it full of implausible assumptions and if a miracle happens and the public foolishly re-elect you, you have been lying for 5 years so another 3 years is a bonus. If Labor is elected and the economy collapses, just revert to the usual old Labor blew up the economy bullsh*t.

Can you do us a favour and review every ALP/Greens budget too - shouldn't take long, the citizens don't trust them to govern very often. You can go back to last century again if you like - they did deliver a surplus 30 years ago I think?
