Recommended Bet: $30 win No.6 Johannes Vermeer
                 $20 win No.1 Material Man
Precedent: No.1 Material Man

Australian Guineas.

1. No.5 Ranier - 85. I thought his run last start was excellent. His Flemington form is almost faultless and his mile form is near faultless. I think he is extreme overs at $31.
2. No.14 Amphitrite - 83. She has a near faultless record both at track and distance. Group 1 quality win fresh and she is a chance to add to the fillies who have won this race.
3. No.15 Mystic Journey - 82. Coming through the Tasmanian form and she has ben sensational in both runs reeling of sub 11 second last 200m. The reason she is not on top is the barrier, She will get back and she will need huge amount of luck to win, but no doubt she is talented enough to win.
4. No.1 Extra Brut - 82. I wanted to put him on top, but I do not think he can win. He has drawn to get a lovely run just behind the speed, and I can see him getting onto the back of a runner coming to the turn, and exploding late. Loves Flemington and he has the talent to win, but the place bet is a safer option.
5. No.7 The Inevitable - 81. I can see him getting either a nice run in front or just sitting behind Hawkshot. The mile is my concern, but he will look the winner at some point in the straight, it is just whether he can keep going that last 100m.
6. No.4 Ringerdingding - 81. On his run last week at wfa he should be favorite here. Drawn well for his style of racing and if backmarkers can make ground, he is an undeniable chance for the win.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $10 win No.14 Amphitrite
$10 each way No.1 Extra Brut
                 $10 each way No.5 Ranier
Precedent: No.1 Extra Brut

Francess Tressady Stakes.

1. No.4 - 78
2. No.14- 76
3. No.2 - 75
4. No.8 - 73
5. No.9 - 72
6. No.10- 71
Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.3
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Shoko
Precedent: No.7 Sheezdashing

3. No.3 - 78
4. No.6 - 75
5. No.4 - 75
6. No.7 - 72

1. No.1 - 82
2. No.2 - 80
3. No.4 - 77
4. No.7 - 75
5. No.5 - 73
6. No.3 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Amercement
                 $10 each way No.4 Enood
Precedent: No.2 Kiamichi

Liverpool City Cup.

1. No.7 - 84
2. No.9 - 81
3. No.1 - 79
4. No.3 - 77
5. No.6 - 75
6. No.5 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.2.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Gem Song
Precedent: No.7 Gem Song

Chipping Norton Stakes.

1. No.5 Winx - 100.
2. No.1 Happy Clapper - 100.
3. No.7 Unforgotten - 78. Will go well but no macth for the top two.
4. No.6 Egg Tart - 74. Only a top four hope.
5. No.3 Libran - 70. Can put a good fresh run in and 1600m suits well first up.
6. No.2 Patrick Erin - 65. Top class effort fresh, but should only be a top four hope at best here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4, no surprise to see him improve here.
Recommended Bet: $50 place No.1 Happy Clapper
Precedent: No.1 Winx

Surround Stakes

1. No.7 Nakeeta Jane - 86. Gave a dashing display fresh and showed she is high quality. Second up might see a drop but all her runs have been good and no reason to see that that will change here.
2. No.10 Madam Rouge - 82. Looks to go forward here and should get every hope. Definite winning hope.
3. No.5 Fundamentalist - 80. The only problem I have here is that her Randwick form is not great. Drawn to sit forward and will get every hope.
4. No.4 Fiesta - 80. She would be the top rater if not for the barrier. I am just not sure where she gets in the run. If she can get a softish run, she has the talent to win.
5. No.12 Pohutukawa - 77. She is on track, but again she will need luck from that barrier with her racing style. She can win, but maybe just a top four hope, here.
6. No.1 El DOrado Dreaming - 76. Has been trialling well, likes Randwick and the 1400 fresh will suit. Gets back so she will need luck to win, but has the talent.
Add isn for any scratchings are No.2 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.7 Nakeeta Jane
                 $10 win No.4 Fiesta
                 $10 each way No.5 Fundamentalist
Precedent: No.10 Madame Rouge

Guy Walter Stakes.

1. No.2 - 84
2. No.9 - 82
3. No.1 - 81
4. No.4 - 80
5. No.6 - 78
6. No.7 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Bella Martini
Precedent: No.2 Noire

As always we wish everyone the best of luck and many winners!

Alright we have a huge weekend of racing coming up starting with Newcastle on Friday, then the main meetings including Auckland Cup day at Ellerslie and then Canberra for Black Opal day and Monday sees us at Morphettville for Adelaide Cup day. So lets get into it, with the fields we have so far.

Newcastle

Newmarket Handicap.

1.No.2 - 82
2.No.4 - 80
3.No.1 - 78
4.No.11- 75
5.No.5 - 73
6.No.3 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.11 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Savatiano
Precedent: No.2 Lanciato

Saturday.

Moomba Plate

1. No.3 - 80
2. No.2 - 78
3. No.1 - 76
4. No.5 - 75
5. No.4 - 73
6. No.10- 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.6
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Krone
Precedent: No.3 Bleu Roche

VRC Sires Produce Stakes

1. No.1 - 76
2. No.4 - 75
3. No.2 - 74
4. No.10- 72
5. No.11- 71
6. No.12- 70
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.13.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Deep Chill
Precedent: No.2 Dalasan

Newmarket Handicap. This is the best rating sprint for about three years.

1. No.14 Eduardo - 89. One of the best runs IO have ever seen in an Oakleigh Plate, last start! Looks very well placed here, he is a group 2 placed down the straight, he is obviously in form this prep and he has a nice weight, and is drawn the right part of the track. In a tough race, he has come up overs in the market, and if his first up run has not taken much out of him, he can win here.
2. No.4 Osborne Bulls - 87. Weighted up to his best, but deserves to be favorite. Drawn right part of the track, and the only problem I can see is if he can get the clear run in the big field, in the last 200m.
3. No.20 Graff - 85. Ran well in the Lightning and can improve here, but will need to. Should be on speed and give a good sight.
4. No.22 Sunlight - 85. Looks nicely placed with a good weight and Drawn well to get cover. Good effort winning the Coolmore in the spring and her wfa run last time out has her right in the mix.
5. No.2 Santa Ana Lane - 83. Best sprinter in the country and is well placed here. Just needs the breaks to go his way, but definite winning chance.
6. No.7 Shoals - 83. Well placed for a three time group 1 winner, and has the ability to win, however she will need all the luck in the last 300m to get past most of the runners as she will get back in this race. Capable of winning.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.17. This field has many chances and Brave Smash, In Her Time, Booker, Bons Away, Champagne Cuddles, Divine Quality, Encryption, Zousain and Lean Mean Machine.

Recommended Bet: $30 win No.22 Sunlight
$10 each way No.17 Miss Rock
Precedent: No.4 Osborne Bulls

Kewney Stakes.

1. No.11 - 76
2. No.2 - 75
3. No.1 - 73
4. No.10 - 72
5. No.7 - 70
6. No.4 - 70
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $50 place No.7 Chevalier D'eon
Precedent: No.1 Angelic Ruler

Australian Cup. This is a good field!

1. No.7 Avilius - 87. Ticks all boxes. His lead up form is superior, and his wfa form is worthy of winning here, and he has run well at Flemington. 2000m ideal and should win with the right run.
2. No.1 Alamndin - 85. Has wfa form, and 2000m should suit first up. He should be near his peak as he will only have one more run at most this prep , so they would want him to be at his best right from the start of his prep. Good overs.
3. No.15 Shillelagh - 83. Still has to tick the 2000m box, but her Emirates run last spring was unlucky and she should have at least finished closer. Loves Flemington and is a genuine group 1 horse. Good overs.
4. No.2 Rekindling - 82. Talented and can win, but for me I want to see how he is doing before I back him.
5. No.3 Ace High - 80. Thought his run last start was a cracker, and back to Flemington, he looks well placed. Not sure he can win, but is a definite top four contender.
6. No.6 Harlem - 78. Won this race last year at $61 and is going just as well this year, but this is a stronger field.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.8.

Recommended Bet: $30 win No.7 Avilius
$10 each way No.3 Ace High
Precedent: No.7 Avilius

Matron Stakes.

1. No.2 - 80
2. No.10- 78
3. No.1 - 77
4. No.5 - 75
5. No.8 - 74
6. No.7 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.2 Spanish Reef
                 $10 each way No.8 Payroll
Precedent: No.5 I'm A Princess

5. No.7 - 74
6. No.2 - 71
Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.4.

5. No.9 - 73
6. No.8 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.12 & No.1.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Sandbar
Precedent: No.4 Jonker

Reisling Stakes.

1. No.4 - 80
2. No.1 - 78
3. No.2 - 77
4. No.5 - 75
5. No.3 - 73

Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.9.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Tenley
Precedent: No.1 Exhilarates

Todman Stakes.

1. No.1 - 84
2. No.2 - 83
3. No.4 - 80
4. No.8 - 78
5. No.5 - 76
6. No.7 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Dubious
$10 each way No.8 Spring Loaded
Precedent: No.2 Time To Reign

Challenge Stakes.

1. No.1 - 100
2. No.7 - 80
3. No.2 - 80
4. No.5 - 77
5. No.3 - 75
6. No.4 - 71

Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Ball Of Muscle
Precedent: No.1 Redzel

Canterbury Stakes.

1. No.2 Pierata - 87. This is a nice race to kick off his prep in. This is a cracking field but he is a high class sprinter and well suited here.
2. No.5 Shoals - 85. She looks well placed here, in the small field and she goes very well fresh. Hope she runs here instead of the Newmarket, and she also likes Randwick.
3. No.3 Kementari - 82. Maybe 1300m is his distance. Genuine group 1 performer, but has not won for twelve months. Definite winning hope.
4. No.1 Trapeze Artist - 80. His fresh run was ordinary. Ha only put in one good run as a four year old and that was third up in the Everest. I am prepared to overlook him here, and wait until his next start.
5. No.4 Fell Swoop - 78. His last two runs have been fantastic, one at wfa and one in the Oakleigh Plate. Can not win but will run well again.
6. No.6 Prompt Resonse - 75. Ticks all boxes here. Has just been outpaced in her two trials but has performed well leading into this. At her best she can win, but a top four hope for me.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.7.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Pierata
Precedent: No.5 Shoals

Randwick Guineas. This is now a very good race with the fillies in.

1. No.7 Nakeeta Jane - 89. The reason she is on top is the allowance. I do not think TAS can give her the two kilos and beat her.
2. No.1 The Autumn Sun - 87. Not sure how he is odds on, but if you like him good luck. Obviously has the talent to win, but he is in a genuine race here, taking on the top fillies.
3. No.8 Fundamentalist - 86. Last week I thought we had the win, but she got collared by a cracking filly. Has backed up well in the past having run second to Mystic Journey on Cox Plate day last spring and then run a slashing third to Shillelagh in the Myer Classic. Do not sell her short here!
4. No.2 Madison County - 80. The top NZ 3yo and got beaten last start, but it was a top effort. Can not win here but top four hope.
5. No.3 Vegadaze - 77. Good effort last start, but he did have the fitness edge there, so he will need to improve here to win.
6. No.4 Aramayo - 76. Back to Randwick should help. Might be looking for the 2000m of the Rosehill Guineas, but he has had the 1800m run and should be near his peak fitness and his run at 1600m from the spring at Newcastle would have him right in this.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.9.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.7 Nakeeta Jane
                 $10 each way No.8 F7undamentalist
Precedent: No.4 Aramayo

Aspiration Quality.

1. No.6 - 80
2. No.3 - 79
3. No.8 - 77
4. No.2 - 75
5. No.7 - 73
6. No.1 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.10.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.6 Harmattan
Precedent: No.1 Luvaluva

Randwick City Stakes

1. No.1 - 85
2. No.7 - 81
3. No.10- 80
4. No.4 - 77
5. No.2 - 75
6. No.5 - 74
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.6
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.10 Shraaoh
                 $10 each way No.7 Hiyaam
Precedent: No.1 Big Duke

Supremacy Stakes.

1. No.1 - 77
2. No.2 - 75
3. No.4 - 72
4. No.3 - 70
5. No.7 - 68
6. No.6 - 67
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.1 Beethoven
Precedent: No.4 Prim And Proper.

Okay on to Ellerslie for a big days racing.

Sistema Stakes.

1. No.1 Yourdeel - 84. What can you say! The win last start was out of this world and has form around the best NZ 2yo in Probabeel. By far and away the top rater.
2. No.2 Aotea Lad - 80. Form is good however from his 1200m runs, I feel he is looking for 1400m. Still a chance to beat the top rater.
3. No.6 Aretha - 77. Done a good job last start getting up at good odds. Can repeat here, although once again I think she is looking for 1400m.
4. No.7 Bavella - 76. Disappointed a little resuming at Pukekohe last time out. Fitter and dops back to 54.5 kilos should see an improvement here.
5. No.8 Rainbow Dash - 74. Just missed last time out, and looks set to again be in the finish.Good overs here.
6. No.11 Just Zerene - 72. Form from last start has not stood up in Sydney group 2 grade last week, but her effort behind Castelvecchio two starts ago have her a hope here. Will go forward and give them something to catch.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Yourdeel
$10 each way No.8 Rainbow Dash
Precedent: No.2 Aotea Lad

New Zealand Stakes. This is a good strong field.

1. No.10 Danzdanzdance - 85. The only reason she is above Melody Belle is the distance. Racing well and will take a lot of holding out.
2. No.9 Melody Belle - 81. Best horse in NZ, but the 2000m is an unknown. This will be truly run so if there are any chinks in her armour, they will be found out. Should be racing in the All Star Mile next weekend!
3. No.11 Consensus - 80. Ran a great race for us last start. The extra 400m gives her a chance to beat Melody Belle home here and is in career best form. Once again good overs.
4. No.6 Vin De Dance - 77. Great win last start and former derby winner. Has the quality and might be hitting fitness at the right time. Definite top four hope.
5. No.1 On The Rocks - 75. Good win last start and looks the one on the up from the older runners.
6. No.4 Tiptronic - 72. Going well, but only a top four hope for mine.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.10 Danzdanzdance
                 $10 each way No.11 Consesnus
Precedent: No.9 Melody Belle

Auckland Cup

1. No.2 Venguer Masque - 84. Still has to win at 3200m, but has performed well in a strong rating Sydney Cup behind Polarisation. Looks well placed and hard to beat.
2. No.1 Charles Road - 82. On his 3200m form last year he is the winner here. Just nosed out by Who Shotthbarman in Sydney, and a very very good 8 length 7th behind Cross Counter in the big one in November. Deserving favorite!
3. No.4 Prince Jabeel - 80. His form is good, forget the fit run to just tick him over last start. Good run with the 59 kilos at Trentham and he looks very well placed here.
4. No.14 Glory Days - 78. Good win last start, but obviously this is 3200m. Going well enough to figure in the finish.
5. No.3 Five To Midnight - 75. Going well but still a risk at the 3200m. Top four hope.
6. No.8 Gundown - 73. Is the imrover, but needs to improve significantly to win here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.10.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Charles Road
                 $20 win No.2 Venguer Masque
Precedent: No.1 Charles Road

Good luck and lots of success for everyone!

Okay you all know what it is like, if you lose you take weeks to update the totals and if you win you can not wait to post the update, so here we are.

A good weekend although we burnt out at Morphettville on Monday, although I thought the Adelaide Cup first four paid overs for being easy to get, so here are the results.

Selection No.1, 37 winners from 157 races = -$ 2360.00
Selection No.2, 23 winners from 157 races = -$ 2040.00
Selection No.3, 28 winners from 157 races = +$ 3740.00
Selection No.4, 18 winners from 157 races = -$ 1760.00
Selection No.5, 13 winners from 156 races = +$ 6770.00
Selection No.6, 10 winners from 154 races = +$18990.00

Quinella - 95 from 157 races = +$ 146.00
Trifecta - 64 from 157 races = -$ 3144.00
First Four- 41 from 157 races = -$20051.00

Now our starting bets from Friday for the weekend look this way.

No.1 = $300 win
No.2 = $850 win
No.3 = $200 win
No.4 = $100 win
No.5 = $200 win (this is the same as No.3 because there was a non selection last weekend).
No.6 = $300 win (also the same as No.1 due to a non selection last week)

Lightning Quality

1. No.4 - 85
2. No.6 - 82

Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.9.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Princess Kereru
Precedent: No.6 Yearn

New Zealand Oaks.

1. No.3 - Pinmedown 82. Has drawn awkwardly but has drawn better than Queen Of Diamonds. Will need a top ride from the jockey, but goes well, and looks well placed.
2. No.2 Queen Of Diamonds 80. The barrier is a major concern but if she can get a good run with cover she should win.
3. No.6 - Clementina - 79. Looks well placed here, and will give a good sight.
4. No.1 - Imelda Mary - 77. Good run last start but does need to improve to win.
5. No.4 - Shezathinka - 74. Very consistent and her best run was last start over the 2100m. Looks like the 2400m will suit, and if she can get a good run from the gate she can run top four.
6. No.7 Elate - 73. Something had to be wrong last start. Her previous win was very good over Clementina, and if she can bounce back from that poor run last start, she can run well here. She comes here in similar form, to the $101 derby winner.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.13.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.6 Clementina
Precedent: No.3 Pinmedown

All Star Mile

1. No.1 Happy Clapper - 87. He is the second best horse in the nation, but his Flemington form is not quite as good, however at around $6 he is good value.
2. No.13 Mystic Journey - 85. Looked fantastic winning the guineas. No reason she can not win here and I think her barrier is not much of a hazard.
3. No.11 Alizee - 84. Has got the best form coming in, but she will need some luck from the gate. If she gets a clear run late she will be hard to hold out.
4. Hawkshot - 82. Where he has drawn and the lack of speed in the race tells me he sits on the speed and if he kicks like he did in the guineas he will be right in the finish.
5. No.2 Hartnell - 82. Not sure why he is at $11. His 1600m form is good, his Flemington form is good, and he has drawn to be right behind the speed.
6. No.14 Amphitrite - 81. Can run well, but needs to improve to win here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.4.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.1 Happy Clapper
                 $10 each way No.2 Hartnell
$5 each way No.3 Material Man
Precedent: There is no precedent for this particular race. However if we use the Blamey Stakes s a guide, then the precedent would be Hartnell.

Rosehill.

Maurice McCarten Stakes

1. No.3 - 80
2. No.5 - 79
3. No.4 - 77
4. No.6 - 75
5. No.1 - 73
6. No.10- 72

2. No.5 - 80
3. No.7 - 78
4. No.8 - 76
5. No.1 - 75
6. No.12- 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.3 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.6 Auvray
Precedent: No.1 Patrick Erin

Coolmore Classic

1. No.4 Eckstein - 84. Comes into this off good form. Has been close at group 1 level before and from the gate she can sit 3 wide with cover and come late. Has had a perfect prep for the race.
2. No.5 Oregon's Day - 82. Fantastic win fresh, and looks well placed here. From her gate she needs to sit closer to the sped, but she can win.
3. No.7 Cool Passion - 80. Great effort last week behind Trapeze Artist. The draw here is a concern, but she is in good form and comes through tehr ight races.
4. no.11 I Am Serious - 80. Good effort fresh and she is capable of winning however the gate and where she gets to in the run will be vital.
5. No.8 Noire - 78. Her two runs have been a little ordinary, but she goes best at Rosehill, the 1500m suits and from the agte she should have a clear run at the field in the last 300m.
6. No.16 Fiesta - 77. Just forget she went around last time. Still ran okay and gets a good run form this gate. Good hope.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.18 & No.15.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.5 Oregon's Day
$10 each way No.18 Bella Martini

6. No.9 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.4.

Precedent: No.2 Dreamforce

Good luck and lots of success for everyone!

Alright a big weekend starts Friday so here are the ratings for Friday.

Albury.

Albury Cup.

1. No.7 - 78
2. No.2 - 76
3. No.3 - 75
4. No.6 - 73
5. No.1 - 70
6. No.5 - 70
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.8
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Valac
Precedent: No.2 Emperor's Way

Moonee Valley.

Alexandra Stakes.

1. No.5 - 82
2. No.1 - 80
3. No.6 - 78
4. No.3 - 77
5. No.2 - 76
6. No.11- 74
Add ins for any scratchings are No.10 & 4.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Victory Kingdom
Precedent: No.1 Futooh

William Reid Stakes.

1. No.10 Sunlight - 92. Has had no luck at her two wfa runs here. Good win in the Newmarket and her Lightning run was good. This field is nowehere near as good as the Newmarket and she should be a dominant favorite.
2. No.9 Written By - 84. His two runs this time in have been good, but he has consistently been beaten by Sunlight and no reason to see why that will change here.
3. No.5 Shoals - 84. First up run was very good in a high rating race. My concern here is the barrier will see her in a position coming to the turn, where she will need luck with horses in front of her going forward, and some room to the outside. If she gets clear room in the straight she can win!
4. No.1 Fell Swoop - 82. Loves MV, has drawn a little awkward, but he can finish top four, and can win if he gets the right run.
5. No.7 Spright - 80. I guarantee she will win a good race one day, but for me the Galaxy would have been a better option. She needs all the luck here, but as I stated she has the ability to win here.
6. No.6 Champagne Cuddles - 80. Thought her run in the Newmarket was very good. Goes up to wfa here, but she has handled that weight before. Has speed drawn inside her, so if she gets across from the gate she can run well.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.11 & No.2.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.10 Sunlight
Precedent: No.1 Fell Swoop.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.9.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.11 Classique Legend (surely we get better than $1.85)
Precedent: No.1 Gem Song

N.E.Manion Cup

1. No.10- 83
2. No.4 - 80
3. No.1 - 79
4. No.8 - 77
5. No.9 - 76
6. No.6 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.10 Shraaoh
Precedent: No.4 Vin De Dance

Rosehill Guineas

1. No.1 The Autumn Sun - 90. Only reason he is not 100 is the distance, but he looks as though that is no problem. Clearly top rater and hard to beat.
2. No.2 Madison County - 80. Good effort at randwick, and his effort showed me 2000m no trouble. Good place bet.
3. No.5 Aramayo - 78. A bit disappointing this prep,a lthough looks placed here at 2000m. Can not see him winning but can imrpove for a top four place.
4. No.8 Chapada - 77. His last two are forgive runs, he pulled up with a problem last time, and was in the wrong part of the track before. His spring run at 2000m in the Caulfield Classic, on soft ground says to me he can handle the wet, and out to 2000m he can definitely run top four!
5. No.7 Arrogant - 74. His last two runs are that of a NZ just coming good fitness wise. Lacs the class of the favorite, but the wet and 2000m sees him in with a hope.
6. No.3 Crown Prosecutor - 73. NZ derby winners have agood record of placing in this race, with Jimmy Choux and Gingernuts the only two to do the double.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.8 Chapada
Precedent: No.3 Crown Prosecutor

George Ryder Stakes

1. No.4 Winx - 100. The heavy makes her even harder to beat.
2. No.6 Egg Tart - 80. Looks to be the best for second.
3. No.5 Prompt Response - 80. For me her only box she does not tick, is the second up record. Good effort behind Trapeze Artist in a high rating race, handles the soft or worse, likes Rosehill (her stats are not a true guide). Looks well placed for me.
4. No.1 Land Of Plenty - 78. The second best horse of the field, but wfa might test him on the wet. Also his only run at Rosehill was in a Rosehiull Guineas, and it was not a crash hot run, but he is a far better horse now.
5. No.9 Brutal - 71. His form is okay, but he comes through that Canterbury Stakes and it has been a good guide to the race. Not sure about the wet, but he should sit forward and give himself every hope.
6. No.8 Ringerdingding - 70. His Melbourne form is superior to his sydney form, so for me I want to see him actually perform here before I say he is a bet for second.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $50 place No.5 Prompt Response
Precedent: No.5 Prompt Response

Ranvet Stakes. This is a very intriguing race, with good depth!

1. No.2 Avilius - 84. Not sure what happened last start, but can bounce back here.
2. No.10 Danzdanzdance - 84. Has been in top form this prep, beaten by a very talenetd racehorse last time and loves the wet. Looks well placed to my eye.
3. No.13 Egg Tart - 81. The wet track is the reason she is high up. Distance, tick, Rosehill tick and drawn to get a lovely run. The concern is she has not won for a while, but she should get very hope here.
4. No.11 Shillelagh - 80. She would be on top but for one thing, her 3 runs a heavy have been way below her best. She would have been rated on top on a soft track so if she can get through teh conditions she can win!
5. No.1 Almandin - 78. His fresh run was ordinary, but his second up record is good, wet track form near faultless and he can sit a little closer from the gate.
6. No.8 Skandarabad - 76. Might not be suited at wfa, but he is racing well and hs wet track form. He can surprise here!

Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.10 Danzdanzdance
                 $10 win + $20 place No.1 Almandin
Precedent: No.8 Sikandarabad

Golden Slipper

1. No.2 Microphone - 84. Drawn to get a lovely run. His lead up form is very solid and all we have to worry about is the conditions.
2. No.9 Tenley - 83. Very good in the Reisling. Looks to get a lovely run from the gate and should have no concerns on the track.
3. No.3 Time To Reign - 82. I know he is a very hard horse to ctahc, but his win two starts ago was so good on the soft, he has to be a top six rater here. Again has drawn well off the fence and he can get a nice run and good room in teh straight.
4. No.1 Yes Yes Yes - 80. Fine win fresh. Is using a well worn path to the slipper and se no reason why he can not win.
5. No.10 Pin Sec - 78. Looks to me to be a traditional Sires winner, and I while I do not think she can win here, she is a definite top four threat.
6. No.5 Cosmic Force - 76. His run was good behind Microphone and he franked that form by scoring a cracking victory last week. If he has come through that well, he can win.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 Dubious & No.10 Loving Gaby.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.9 Tenley
                 $10 win + $20 place No.6 Dubious
Precedent: No.1 Yes Yes Yes.

The Galaxy.

1. No.1 Redzel - 100. Not much to say here. Loves the wet, very well weighted and his fresh run was a cracker.
2. No.2 Ball Of Muscle - 90. No negatives here. Wil get a lovely run and every hope to take this out.
3. No.8 Viridine - 87. Absolutely fantastic run fresh. Meets both of those runners much better at weights, likes the wet and he will get a lovely run. The only concern is that he does not back a good run up with anotehr one, so he is a bit hard to catch.
4. No.10 Encryption - 82. His last two runs have been sensational and stays on 51 kilos. No surprise to see him win here.
5. No.6 Graff - 80. Has run well at his two runs this prep, but he has had his chance. Maybe the wet will enhance his perormance.
6. No.3 Pierata - 78. One of the best horses in the race, but I am just worried what run he gets from the barrier. If he can get a nice run, he will be hard to hold out.
Add ins for any scartchings are No.4 & No.5.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.1 Redzel
                 $10 win + $20 place No.10 Encryption
Precedent: No.8 Viridine

Epona Stakes

1. No.6 - 80
2. No.4 - 79
3. No.1 - 77
4. No.3 - 75
5. No.12- 73
6. No.11- 71
Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.7.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.6 Harmattan
Precedent: No.6 Harmattan

Good luck and lots of winner for everyone!

Recommended bet: $10 win + $40 place No.5 Fiery Hieghts
Precedent: No.8 Trekking

Vinery Stud Stakes.

1. No.1 Nakeeta Jane - 86. Ticks all the boxes and can see no reason why she can not win. The only negative could be the heavy, but can't see that being a problem.
2. No.3 Verry Eleegant - 81. She looked good winning at her last run. Will need to do eevrything right here, as she steps up to the top echelon of fillies, and also those she beat will be better at the 2000m, but deserves to be among the top raters.
3. No.8 Pohutukawa - 80. Looked fantastic cruising in at Kembla! On class she is right in this, but again her heavy track ability will be tested, but she looked comfortable in the soft last start.
4. No.2 El Dorado Dreaming - 80. Great run against the older mares last start. The 2000m should hold no fears and we know she handles heavy, so from the gate she can secure a nice run and get every chance. Good overs!
5. No.4 Aristia - 80. The 2000m wil suit, the last start showed she can handle the wet, but she does need to improve significantly to beat Verry Eleegant. She can make that improvement!
6. No.10 Frankly Awesome - 77. Good return to form last start. She is one who will definitely improve further at the 2000m and wet track form is mixed, but she ran well last time on the soft behind Pohutukawa.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Nakeeta Jane
$20 win No.2 El Dorado dreaming
Precedent: No.4 Aristia

Tancred Stakes.

1. no.1 Avilius - 85. He is the best horse in the race, but how much did last week take out of him. He looked fresh after the race, so take him on face value.
2. No.3 Red Cardinal - 80. Has turned into a very good stayer this prep. Not sure at wfa but he is in great form and loves the heavy.
3. No.6 Patrick Erin - 78. Going very well, but again he is a handicap stayer who is stepping up to the wfa. Loves it wet and out to the 2400m Good top four chance!
4. No.8 Big Duke - 77. Once again he is stepping up to the wfa, but he has been carrying big weights soince his fourth in the Melbourne Cup, so the big weight should not worry him. Might not want it botomless, but if the rack dries out to the better side of heavy he will be right.
5. No.14 Rondinella - 75. The form from her last run is very good with Danzdanzdance running well in the Ranvet and Consensus winning the Sunline last week. Wet form is good. Could be the surprise runner!
6. No.15 Nettoyer - 73. Outclassed at wfa last time, but the 2400m should suit and she ran well last wek so the ehavy is no problem.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.10 & No.12.

                 $20 win No.8 Big Duke
                 $5 each way No.15 Nettoyer

Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.8
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.11 Gallic Chieftain
Precedent: No.14 Shraaoh

ATC Sires Produce

1. No.5 Bellevue Hill - 84. The only reason he is on top is that he sits on or near the pace, which will be a huge advantage here. Will give a good sight.
2. No.2 Microphone - 83. Only needs to run the 1400m to be a winning hope.
3. No.10 Kiamichi - 81. Again she will be sitting forward and that will give her every hope.
4. No.11 Probabeel - 79. I thought her run at Rosehill was good and her fastest last 600m tells me she is looking for the 1400m. Can handle the heavy, but drier the better for her.
5. No.14 Crystal Falls - 78. Top effort behind the Slipper winner in the Magic Nigt and looks like the 1400m will suit. Good overs!
6. No.12 Loving Gabby - 77. My only concern here is that she gets back and needs luck in her races. Top four hope but not sure she can win.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.11 Probabeel
$10 each way No.14 Crystal Falls
Precedent: No.14 Crystal Falls

Australian Derby ( good strong field)

1. No.5 Chapada - 87. Can handle the ehavy, but drier the better for him. Draw not kind, but he can sit three wide with cover (which could be the right tactic) and his 2000m+ record is very good. deserving fav.
2. No.18 Frankely Awesome - 82. If she had drawn better she is a clear top rater, but still a winning hope.
3. No.11 Angel Of Truth - 81. Good strong win last week, and he rates as well as Levendi and Jon Snow who comnpleted the double. Will go forward from the agte which will be a huge plus here.
4. No.9 Stars Of Carrum - 80. Neds it to dry out, but I thought his last two runs have been very good. Last time he ran into a genuine group 2 staying field and was strong late. Better suited back to his own age and can win, if track is not heavy!
5. No.8 Global Excahnge - 79. Has looked good at his last two, but he steps up to the a list 3yo's here. Can sit close from the gate and has got a good turn of foot late. Definite winning hope.
6. No.3 In A Twinkling - 77. Just looked one paced dropping from the 2400m to the 2000m last week. Back out to the 2400m here and if he can get a good run from the gate, he can at least finish top four.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 Arrogant and No.13 Cossetot
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.5 Chapada
                 $10 win + $20 Place No.9 Stars Of Carrum
Precedent: No.11 Angel Of Truth

T.J.Smith Stakes

1. No.2 Trapeze Artist - 94. His third run of his preps are usually his best so off that last run he looks a good bet to defend his title, drier the better for him!
2. No.1 Redzel - 90. A little inconsistent these days, but looks to get his preferred conditions here.
3. No.11 Sunlight - 85. Just not sure how she will handle the heavy if we get there. If the track dries out, then she is in winning form.
4. No.4 Pierata - 84. A top run in the Galaxy and if he reproduces his Sydney Stakes run on that heavy track he will win.
5. No.9 Shoals - 82. She ahs had a setback which is not ideal, but her record on this track is near flawless.Just does not want a heavy track.
6. No.3 Santa Ana Lane - 82. A top sprinter who does improve off the one run. At his best he is a huge chance here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 Osborne Bulls & No.5 Vega Magic.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.4 Pierata
Precedent: No.2 Trapeze Artist

Doncaster Mile

1. No.15 - Fifty Stars - 87. This horse in career best form. He looks well placed with 50 kilos, and while the draw looks bad, he should get every hope if he can folow a horse to take him into the straight.
2. No.18 Fundamentalist - 85. She rates very close to Skating, and Norzita who have run well as 3yo fillies. Hs had five goes at group 1 level for 3 seconds and two thirds and is in career best form. Will go forward, and whatever beats her home will be the winner.
3. No.20 Brutal - 83. Was going okay, bwfore a smart second behind Winx. Drops to 49 kilos and if they ride him forward he can give a good sight.
4. No.19 El Dorado Dreaming - 82. Group 1 placed at her last two runs, and she is in top form. Obviously a autumn filly, she won the Sires on this day brilliantly last year, and with 49 kilos she is right in this. Only problem for her is that she is coming into this off a setback.
5. No.1 Hartnell - 80. Grand campaginer, who is in cracking form and was a little unlucky against a high class filly last time out. If he gets a clear crack at them in the last 300m like he did in the spring in the Epsom, he can win.
6. No.7 Shillelagh - 78. I understand that she is absolutely hopeless in the heavy and she has no chance there, but if the track dries out then she can absolutely win.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 Dreamforce & No.2 Le Romain. I will also be placing the Japanese runner in all exotics, but he has no wet track form so the ratings have him very low down the list.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.15 Fifty Stars
                 $10 win No.18 Fundamentalist
$10 each way No.19 El Dorado Dreaming
Precedent: No.4 Dreamforce

P.J.Bell Stakes.

1. No.9 - 80
2. No.1 - 78
3. No.2 - 77
4. No.10- 76
5. No.13- 73
6. No.11- 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.12
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.9 Mizzy
Precedent: No.6 Prophets Thumb.

As always we would like to wish everyone the best of luck and lots of winner!

Australian Oaks

1. No.1 Veery Elleegant - 89. Only doubt is the 2400m, but she covers all other boxes and she looks like 2400m will be ideal. Deserved favorite.
2. No.2 Aristia - 84. Now she will eat the 2400m. Has perfromed well at her last two, but she does need to improve to beat VE, but she did do that in the spring, when VE went straight past her at 2000m but she won the VRC Oaks. If the track dries out she can win, but VRC Oaks winners do not have a great record in winning this race with only Research doing the double in the last 30 years.
3. No.3 Frankely Awesome - 83. I just do not like horses coming into staying events off setbacks. She will eat the 2400m, and looks well placed otherwise, so if she has recivered from her setback, she can win!
4. No.8 Clementina - 81. I know she was a little disappointing last week, but again she looked like dropping from the NZ Oaks to the 2000m she was a biot one paced. She was extremely unlucky in the NZ Oaks and she will love the 2400m. I do not mean to disrespect him, but I am also a little disappointed they have not secured a local jockey. I thought Oppie rode poorly last week, so lets hope he improves his form.
5. No.5 Maracaibo - 76. She can not win, but top four chance!
6. No.12 Miss Madrid - 74. Thought her run last week was that of a 2400m horse. Has not got the class of the better raters, but she can stay on and run top four.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.4.
Recommended Bet: $20 win + $30 place No.8 Clementina
Precedent: No.1 Veery Elleegant

Queen Elizabeth Stakes

1. No.7 Winx - 100. Good luck and all the best for the queens farewell!
2. No.4 He's Eminent - 90. Thought Avilius would rate close to Winx here, and this guy ran well behind him. Should lead here and will give a good sight.
3. No.2 Hartnell - 85. In great form. Top run last week and is a genuine group 1 wfa horse. 2000m no problems, but do prefer him drier the better.
4. No.1 Happy Clapper - 80. Coming off a setback, 2000m still for me is not his best distance, and the gap between runs not ideal.
5. No.9 Shillelagh - 78. I thought her run in the Doncaster was a cracker. Again she needs it on the better side or soft, but two of her three 2000m runs have been great, although to offset that they were at Flemington, where she has run her best races. Definitely a top four hope in the right conditions.
6. No.8 Danzdanzdance - 76. Acquitted herself well at Rosehill. Three weeks between runs ideal, and 2000m not troubles. Is good in the very wet, but just as adept on the dry. Can run top four!

Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.3.

Recommended Bet: $50 place No.4 He's Eminent

Precedent: No.7 Winx

Sydney Cup

1. No.10 Dubhe - 85. Rates well off his last run. Ticks every box except for the Randwick track, but that does not seem to worry Charlie's runners. Deserving favorite, but do not want any shorter!
2. No.5 Big Duke - 83. Racing very very well! His last run at wfa was great, his 3200m form includes a 4th in a Melbourne Cup, he has also run second in a Metrop and he looks well placed. We need a Avdulla special from the wide gate, but if he gets every chance he will be in the finish!
3. No.11 Midterm - 82. Top class win at 2400m last time out. Looks well placed here and this stable are not far off the mark when they set them for a 3200m race. Looks good overs @ $9.00.
4. No.8 Yogi - 81. Never thought I would tip this guy in a group 1, but his last two runs at wfa have been ideal lead ups for this race. No troubles with teh 3200m, and likes the wet if that is what we get. Drawn okay, but again we need Craig Williams to pull out a great ride.
5. No.14 Gallic Chieftain - 79. Good effort to win the Chairmans last week, and that has been a good guide for the Sydney Cup. Not sure the 3200m but if he runs the trip, he is a definite winning hope!
6. No.12 Glory Days - 78. His win at Ellerslie was sensational. Down on 52 kilos and with Corey Brown in the saddle we need a soft run from the wide gate, but we know he is a stayer. Could be the overs!
Add ins for any scratchings are No.16 & No.7.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.10 Dubhe
                 $10 win + $20 place No.8 Yogi
Precedent: No.5 Big Duke

Coolmore Legacy this is a better field than the Doncaster!

1. No.2 Prompt Response - 87. Okay I am confused. She comes through the George Ryder, which is similar to the Doncaster quinella yet she is $14. Likes Randwick, runs well wet or dry, and the only slight query is the 1600m, but she will get a softish lead, and will give them somthing to chase.
2. No.18 Nakeeta Jane - 85. Back to the 1600 suits. Just obviously does not handle the heavy and on a drier track she goes close.
3. No.16 Amphitrite - 82. Not disgraced behind Mystic Journey last start. Looks well placed here 1600m fourth up and is a danger.
4. No.6 Oregans Day - 81. Looks very well placed here, again as long as it is not heavy. 1600m suits, drawn well and is racing well. Winning hope.
5. No.4 Dixie Blossoms - 79. Good run in the Doncaster. 1600 okay, wet or dry good and drawn to geta soft run. Just needs luck in the last 200m to be near the top spot.
6. No.8 Consensus - 77. Did the job for us in the Sunline last start at good odds. Steve McKee knows what it takes to win here in Sydney and she looks well placed here. Will need luck from the gate, but definite hope.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.13.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.18 Nakeeta Jane
                 $10 win + $20 place No.2 Prompt Response
Precedent: No.6 Oregon's Day

Sapphire Stakes

1. No.5 - 85
2. No.6 - 83
3. No.1 - 82
4. No.3 - 80
5. No.10- 76
6. No.7 - 75
Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.2
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Spright
Precedent: No.1 Invincebella

As aalways we wish everyone lots of winners and great success!
