1. No.1 Hartnell - 89. Looks well placed, fantastic fresh run, like the 4 weeks between fresh run and second up and draws well.
2. No.9 Hey Doc - 87. Love him third up, back to Flemington and at 1600m. Has drawn a little wide, but not much early speed and so he should be able to slide across and sit outside leader. His last start at Caulfield showed he is in form. Definite danger.
3. No.3 Le Romain - 87. Genuine group 1 galloper, efforts at wfa have ben excellent. Has won here at 1600m and drawn to get a nice run.
4. No.2 Black Heart Bart - 83. Obviously good enough to win, but I need to see him at his best again before I tip him.
5. No.8 Jon Snow - 80. IOn face value I thought his run was very good fresh. Then after seeing Murray Baker being interviewed the effort has taken on more significance. If there is a fast speed here, he can win this.
6. No.5 Gailo Chop - 77. Showed last start that he is reaching the type of form which saw him win a Mackinnon Stakes here. Up in grade, but out to 1600m and will settle forward.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.10.

George Main Stakes (what is it with the name of this race, fiddlesticks).

1. No.7 Winx - 100. Nothing left to say.
2. No.1 Happy Clapper - 89. Just the fact he has to give her the 2 kilos, is the only reason he is 11 points behind her.
3. No.3 Red excitement - 87. This horse is flying! One of the best rides I have ever seen last start and no reason why he can not run just as well here. If he was not an 8 year old he would be Epsom fav right now!
4. No.9 Foxplay - 86. Can finish top four once again!
5. No.2 Ecuador - 84. Will go forward and give his usual honest account.
6. No.6 Tom Melbourne - 79. Okay so you are probably looking at the ratings saying, wait a minute how can this horse rate higher here taking on her majesty, rather than in the Bill Ritchie. Simple. The 1600m.

Golden Rose

1. No.2 Menari - 89. Ticks all the boxes. No doubt at the 1400m for mine and he will need luck from gate but clear top rater.
2. No.7 Merchant Navy - 86. Better out to 1400m, has put together good performances and while he does step up in grade he looks well placed.
3. No.3 Pariah - 85. Not far off Menari but will need luck to go his way to beat him.
4 No.13 Formality 80. If she had drawn better she would be my selection.
5. No.11 Shogun Sun - 78. Still think he looks like a miler but out to the 1400 will suit, can see good speed here and he should be able to sit closer from his good gate
6. No.10 Assimilate - 77. Top run last time out and he is another will relish the potential quick tempo. Do not underestimate him!
Recommended Bet: $10 win + $40 place No.11 Shogun Sun
Precedent: No.2 Menari

Moir Stakes (this is a cracker of a field!).

1. No.5 Russian Revolution - 87. Draw is of concern but plenty of speed here and can roll forward and sit 3 wide with cover.
2. No.9 Sheidel - 85. Not sure what happened first up but she still ran okay. Drawn to get a lovely run and will give a great sight.
3. No.4 Rock Magic - 82. On his autumn run in Melbourne he is right in this. Can see him getting a nice run mid race.
4. No.13 She Will Reign - 82. The filly will need to be just about at her best to win this, even with the 50 kilos.
5. No.6 Derryn - 78. Can win a nice race this prep but will need to be at his best to win here.
6. No.11 Heatherly - 77. Going well and at the 1000m she can run top four no doubt.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.1 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.4 Rock Magic
Precedent: No.11 Heatherly

Sorry about that my battery went down.

Before we go on I made a major error with the Moir. Voodoo Lad is rated 82 so he goes in 4th in front of She Will Reign and just drop everyone down one. Must be the painkillers I am on.

Thanks carioca and I had to laugh when Dunn was asked if he would like to ride that galloper ahead of Royal Symphony in the Guineas. All tongue in cheek of course.

Okay here are the ratings for Randwick, tomorrow.

Breeders Plate. (remember these ratings are from all variables such as barriers, trial form, trainers, jockeys and stable precedent).

1. No.3 - 70
2. No.7 - 68
3. No.1 - 67
4. No.9 - 66
5. No.10 - 64
6. No.11 - 64
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $10 win + $40 Place No.9 Outrageous.

Gimcrack Stakes.

1. No.6 - 73
2. No.10 - 70
3. No.3 - 69
4. No.5 - 68
5. No.2 - 68
6. No.14 - 67
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.17.
Recommended Bet : $15 win No.6 Witherspoon
                  $15 win No.14 Fiesta
                  $10 each way No.3 Contesta

Dulcify Quality

1. No.3 - 76
2. No.4 - 72
3. No.6 - 71
4. No.7 - 69
5. No.2 - 69
6. No.5 - 67
Add ins for any scratchings are No.8 & No.9.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.3 Hypnotist
$10 each way No.8 Chosen Warrior
Precedent: No.4 All Too Huiying

Hill Stakes

1. No.10 - 78
2. No.5 - 75
3. No.6 - 74
4. No.8 - 73
5. No.2 - 72
6. No.1 - 71
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.7.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.10 Perfect Rhyme
Precedent: No.4 Mackintosh

Flight Stakes.

1. No.4 Cellargirl - 83. Thought her run was excellent last time out. The 1600m looks like it will suit her, better than others.
2. No.3 One More Honey - 80. Nice run here, and again looks like she will be suited by the 1600m.
3. No.2 Alizee - 79. I was right with her last time, but I can see some of the fillies getting a nice run from the draws. Alizee had all the breaks last time and not sure there is much more improvement to come. Deserved fav, but I can not take her at $3.20.
4. No.1 Champagne Cuddles - 77. Great run last week against the boys, but there are knocks all over the place. Can she run a strong 1600m, backs up third Saturday in a row and her racing style is not the best.
5. No.6 I Am Excited - 75. Not sure she is a winning hope, but can run top four.
6. No.9 Smooth Landing - 71. Form looks a little below this level, but out to 1600m, hopefully with speed on she can show her ability. With speed on she can place here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.3 One More Honey
Precedent: No.2 Alizee

Premiere Stakes

1. No.1 - 97
2. No.10 - 87
3. No.7 - 84
4. No.4 - 82
5. No.3 - 79
6. No.2 - 78
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.4 Fell Swoop
Precedent: No.1 Chatauqua

Epsom Handicap

1. No.1 Happy Clapper - 97. Can not find a reason why he can not win. The only issue is that top weights do not have a great winning record. Great chance.
2. No.2 Foxplay - 87. Top quality, but she does have to make up over four lengths. She can run well, but not sure she can win.
3. No.11 Comin Through - 83. Not sure what to make of his recent efforts. Is winning, but as the jockey says, he only does just enough that he has to, to win. Maybe the Magic Man can conjour some voodoo.
4. No.9 Tom Melbourne - 82. Not much behind Comin Through. My only reservation, and lets face it this horse has plenty, is that there is not a lot of speed and with Red Excitement and Embley withdrawing from the race it slows the field down even more. If we can get the speed that is usually found in an Epsom then he will run top four, for sure, and becomes a winning hope.
5. No.7 I Am A Star - 80. Her three runs back have been good. Drops in weight, likes the 1600m and drawn to get a nice run.
6. No.3 Sound Proposition - 79. Prepared to forgive him his run at Newcastle (it was a good effort anyway with the weight and the fast speed). His runs at Randwick have been great, and he looks well placed.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.10.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.3 Sound Proposition
Precedent: No. 11 Comin Through

The Metropolitan

1. No.1 Libran - 90. That acceleration he showed last start is what separates him from the rest. Should be too good here.
2. No.6 Antonio Giuseppe - 80. Going well, but looks like he has lost his ability to accelerate. Maybe out to 2400m will assist with that, but he needs to improve to beat his stablemate.
3. No.9 Life Less Ordinary -78. Top four hope, but not sure he can win. Does have some upside, that the others do not, but does need to have improved from his last run to win here.
4. No.2 Who Shot Thebarman - 77. He is going well, and he could be the improver here, but he has not won for a while.
5. No.11 Loresho - 76. Thought his run last time out was a great guide for this race. Nicely weighted, at 2400m and should get some sped on up front.
6. No.7 Chocante - 75. Looking for this distance, and comes into it in god form.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.4.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Libran
                 $10 each way No.11 Loresho
Precedent: No.1 Libran

Morphettville.

Tokyo City Cup.

1. No.3 - 74
2. No.7 - 72
3. No.2 - 70
4. No.1 - 69
5. No.6 - 68
6. No.4 - 66
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.8.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Petrology (can not believe I just typed that).
Precedent: No.1 Articus

W.H.Wylie Handicap

1. No.1 - 84
2. No.9 - 82
3. No.7 - 79
4. No.3 - 75
5. No.4 - 73
6. No.8 - 71
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.5.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.9 Dashing Lashes
                 $30 win No.1 Crystal Dreamer
Precedent: No.9 Dashing Lashes.

As we always say good luck and lots of success for everyone!!!!!!!

Alright here we go with tomorrows Caulfield ratings.

1000 Guineas Prelude.

1. No.1 - 90
2. No.2 - 85
3. No.6 - 83
4. No.8 - 79
5. No.3 - 79
6. No.5 - 76
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.9.
Recommended Bet" $50 win No.2 Shoals
Precedent: No.8 She's So High

Caulfield Guineas Prelude

1. No.3 - 87
2. No.2 - 83
3. No.8 - 82
4. No.6 - 79
5. No.10 - 77
6. No.5 - 76
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.7.
Recommended Bet: $20 Place No.2 Summer Passage
                 $10 win + $20 Place No.8 Éclair Sunshine
Precedent: No clear top rater here but for the record No.5 Al Passam and No.9 Esperance were equal. If you want a lead then No.9 Esperance.

Underwood Stakes

1. No.1 Hartnell - 90.Got beaten as a odds on hope last time, but his run was okay. Top rater here.
2. No.8 Bonneval - 87. The field she beat last time was inferior to this one, but her own performance was excellent. Should have come on from that run fitness wise, out to 1800m suits and she should get a lovely run from the draw. Will look a danger somewhere in the straight.
3. No.2 Black Heart Bart - 82. Can run well again, but I just feel the younger gallopers have passed him by. Top four chance but can not win.
4. No.3 Gailo Chop - 80. Will go forward and will give a great sight. If it was 2000m I would have him closer to the top rater.
5. No.9 Samovare - 76. On last weeks run she can not win, but she is racing well and gets a hope to run top four.
6. No.6 Single Gaze - 76. I thought she ran a cracker last time out. The closer she gets to 2000m will be beneficial, she should settle just behind the speed and she is entering the part of her preparation where she does excel third and fourth up. Can see her running a good race at odds.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.5.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.8 Bonneval
Precedent: No.8 Bonneval

Sir Rupert Clarke.

1. No.3 Scales Of Justice - 86. Back around the turn and out to 1400m.No knock here, drawn well, can siit forward and gets every hope.
2. No4 Tosen Stardom - 85. The big field concerns me, but if can get a clear last 200m run at the leaders he can win.
3. No.1 It's Somewhat - 83. Form last time in was outstanding. Distance and fresh form is fantastic, 58 kilos should not bother and if he can find cover mid race he has got a good finish. Good value.
4. No.16 Land Of Plenty - 79. Needs to lift on his wining percentage, but he has got the ability to win this and with 52 kilos and out to 1400m he can give a good sight.
5. No.13 Attention - 77. Maps well here and from the inside gate he can be right in the finish at the 1400m.
6. No.6 Charmed Harmony - 77. Fantastic run last time out. Has had5 weeks between runs, which he likes and on 52 kilos and from the draw he will look the winner at some stage in the straight.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.15 (if you want a $61 plus galloper in your exotics, he is the one) & No.10.
Recommended Bet: $15 win No.3 Scales Of Justice
                 $15 win No.4 Tosen Stardom
$10 each way No.15 Royal Tudor
Precedent: No.6 Charmed Harmony

Good luck and lots of success for everyone!!

Add ins for any scratchings are No.6 & No.8.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Viridine
Precedent: No.1 Chauffeur

Spring Champion.

1. No.1 Ace High - 84. On form he is the top rater, but I am concerned about David Payne runners in the grand final. He won very well last time out and the 2000m looks ideal.
2. No.4 Sanctioned - 82. Good effort last time out and looks suited at 2000m. Needs to improve from last start, but stepping up from the 1800m to the 2000m seems to be the well worn path.
3. No.3 Sully - 79. 2000m will still be too short, but if we get speed and he settles, he will be charging home.
4. No.2 Astoria - 76. Not sure he is the right type for this event, but he has quality.
5. No.6 Dissolution - 75. Better effort last week. Out further to 2000m looks okay and he can improve into a place here.
6. No.3 Tangled - 74. came back to something assembling his best last start, but he is rising I class and he needs to improve to win.

Recommended Bet: $50 Won No.1 The Quarterback
Precedent: No.4 Spieth

Turnbull Stakes

1. No.2 Winx - 97. Only reason she does not get the 100 is this is her first run at headquarters, but that should not be a problem.
2. No.1 Humidor - 87. Should run second.
3. No.3 Ventura Storm - 84. Maps like the stayers who have run a place in this race. No surprise to see him run second.
4. No.4 Assign - 75. No hope of a win, but can get into the exotics.

Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $50 Place No.10 Ellicazoom.
Precedent: No.5 Eckstein. Please Note that No.7 Euro Angel was equal, but I decided to never back her again after her last start so you can take that information how you wish.

2. No.3 Redzel - 90. Has proven himself over the last six months. Will be right in te finish.
3. No.2 Vega Magic - 88. I think he is one of the best horses in the race, but am just worrying about the drop back to 1200m.
4. No.9 English - 87. Bounced back well last time out. Now she has hit form she can be trusted to hold it. Loves the track and distance.
5. No.10 She Will Reign - 84. Going okay, good win last time out and her Sydney form is superior. She hits the top echelon of Australian sprinters here, and her only defeat came at her second up run last prep behind Frolic. The lightweight gives her, her winning chance.
6. No.6 Deploy - 82. In superior form at this point. Track record holder here at 1200m, can handle wet or dry, and can either sit outside the leader or will get a nice run one one.

Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Miss Gunpowder
Precedent: No.3 Desert Lashes

Herbert Power (very intriguing race).

1. No.5 - 87
2. No.3 - 85
3. No.7 - 81
4. No.1 - 78
5. No.2 - 77
6. No.8 - 76
Add ins for any scratchings are No.11 & No.10.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Aloft
Precedent: No.9 Harlow Gold

Weekend Hussler.

1. No.2 - 82
2. No.9 - 80
3. No.8 - 78
4. No.5 - 77
5. No.10 - 75
6. No.13 - 73
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.9 Fastest Tempest
Precedent: No.2 Religify.

1000 Guineas.

1. No.2 Alizee - 86. Top win last time. Looks a died in the wool miler, and the only negative here is first run at Caulfield.
2. No.1 Shoals - 84. Has looked good all prep, and down to the 55.5 kilos makes her the best local hope.
3.No.3 Booker - 82. Very talented filly and she will look the winner at some stage in the straight. Just that last bit is the query.
4. No7 Mintha - 80. Top effort last run. Is really looking like the 1600 will suit, but jumping from1200m to 1600m in group 1 fields is hard to do.
5. No.8 She's So High - 78. Has been consistent in her lead ups, but will need luck to win here.
6. No.5 Aloisa - 78. I know she has the talent to win this, but she should get better over longer distance.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 (putting her in all my exotics and no surprise to see her win) & No.6.
Recommended Bet: $18 Standout Trifecta 2/1-4-5-7.
                 $5 win + $10 Place No.4 Pure Scott
                 $5 win + $10 Place No.5 Aloisa
Precedent: No.1 Shoals

Caulfield Stakes.

1. No.11 Bonneval - 89. No chinks here. The female wfa scale helps her out.
2.No.1 Hartnell - 87. Would like to see him ridden more positively here. If he races in front of Bonneval then he can win.
3. No.3 Johannes Vermeer - 84. Hard to line up his form but just on the ratings he is in this, and represents value.
4. No.10 The Taj Mahal - 82. 3yo by northern hemisphere time, but looked good in his run two starts ago, and the form around the horse that beat him last time out is genuine group 1 form.
5. No.2 Gailo Chop - 80. Is moving towards his best form. If he can get a soft run up on speed he can win.
6. No.8 Single Gaze - 78. I think she is flying. Has improved this prep to be consistently competitive in the highest class, and I can see her running top four once again.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.5.
Recommended Bet: 50 win No.10 The Taj Mahal
Precedent: No.1 Hartnell

Caulfield Guineas.

1.No.16 Catchy - 90. I think 1600m is ideal. drops to 54.5 and loves Caulfield. Top rater.
2. No.8 Perast - 87. Has been awhile since a horse did the prelude-Guineas double (I think Starspangledbanner, was the last, but he has drawn well, and will give a great sight.
3. No.2 Summer Passage - 85. Back around a turn, he improved very nicely. Up to a mile is nice, and the only negative is the barrier. May also be advantaged on a wet track, but still rates highly here.
4.No.6 Royal Symphony - 82. Might have been looking for the mile at his last start. Would like to see him race forward here and if he settles, he is a winning hope.
5. No.11 Kementari - Good first run here last time out. Looking for the mile and if can find a clear run in the straight, he will be in the firing line.
6. No.13 Salsamor - I think he is the derby one from this years race. Looks talented, but will need luck as he gets back.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.6 Royal Symphony
                 $30 win No.16 Catchy
Precedent: No.8 Perast

Toorak Handicap.

1. No.12 Snitzson - 85. His mile record is a placing in the Australian Guineas and a 3rd last start in the Epsom. Looks nicely placed and should get a good run.
2.No.6 I Am A Star - 83. Likes the mile, likes Caulfield and is nicely weighted.
3. No.4 Tom Melbourne - 81. His form at Caulfield is good, but will need a huge amount of luck, in a big field in this race. Top four, near certainty.
4. No.10 Mr Sneaky - 80. Great run last time out. Fits the profile of a 4yo, Rupert Clark placegetter. Definite hope.
5. No.2 Kaspersky - 80. Saw him do work this week, and he looks like he has settled in nicely. Only has 56 kilos, should appreciate the absence of the English undulating tracks, and if he can get clear running from the inside gate he is a definite top four hope here.
6. No.1 Tosen Stardom - 80. There is no doubt he is a talented horse, but we are now into the longest prep he has had in Australia, he is in a huge field, which disadvantages his get back run on style, he is looking for 2000m, and has to give most of the field at least 3 kilos.. Has the class to win, but would need a career best effort.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.8.
Recommended Bet: $20 win + $30 place No.12 Snitzson
Precedent: No.10 Mr Sneaky

Schillaci Stakes

1. No.11 - 87
2. No.9 - 85
3. No.2 - 84
4. No.5 - 80
5. No.10 - 78
6. No.3 - 77
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.8.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.11 Super Cash
                 $30 win No.2 Rock Magic
Precedent: No.2 Rock Magic

As always, wishing good luck and lots of success to everyone!! everyone

Moonee Valley.

Manikato Stakes. (this meeting is like Thursday AFL/NRL, absolutely useless), but we will see how the track stands up Cox Plate day.

1. No.2 Vega Magic - 90. Only unticked box for me is tat he has not raced at the valley, but quality will take him along way.
2. No.9 In Her Time - 87. On her form she is drawn to get every hope here. Her two wins this prep, have been great and will be in it for a long way.
3. No.1 Chautauqua - 82. Will be giving the two top raters a big start and I am just wondering if 1400m is his distance range these days. Too good to leave out, and if the swoopers are advantaged, he can obviously win.
4. No.5 Rock Magic - 80. Going well, but this is a step up to the quality he has been racing. Top four hope.
5. No.10 Viddora - 78. Great run last time! Usually holds form when she hits it.
6. No.8 English - 78. Her only run here was a 2 length 7th, in this race last year behind Rebel Dane.

Add ins for any scratching are No.6 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.2 Vega Magic
Precedent: No.5 Rock Magic.

3. No.5 Folkswood - 80. Looked good at Cranbourne. Obviously stepping up here but his 2000m form at home is of a nice standard, specially the run at Meydan.
4. No.9 Royal Symphony - 76. Gets in light and can run top four here.
5. No.1 Happy Clapper - 75. The form from the Epsom has not stood up. Was beaten in easier company last time out and will be stunned if he places.
6. No.6 . Seaburge - 73. Good run at handicap conditions last time. His run in the Mackinnon last spring was good, but does eed to improve to finish top four here.

Okay here are the ratings, and I am seriously thinking of holding the VRC track manager hostage until I see a fair track with no bias.

Carbine Club.

1. No.1 - 85
2. No.7 - 83
3. No.11 - 79
4. No.6 - 78
5. No.10 - 76
6. No.5 - 75
Add ins for scratchings are No.12 & No.3.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.7 Levendi
Precedent: No.6 Kaonic

Wakeful Stakes.

1. No.1 - 83
2. No.5 - 82
3. No.6 - 80
4. No.10 - 78
5. No.8 - 77
6. No.9 - 74
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.7.
Recommendd Bet: $10 win + $40 place No.9 Smooth Landing (am I a glutton for punishment).
Precedent: No.5 Hiyaam.

1100m Group 3 Mares.

1. No.1 - 84
2. No.4 - 82
3. No.5 - 79
4. No.6 - 78
5. No.12 - 78
6. No.7 - 77
Add ins for any scratchings are No.2 & No.3
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.1 Sheidel
                 $30 win No.12 Crystal Fountain
Precdent: No.6 Lyuba

Lexus Stakes.

1. No.6 - 80
2. No.7 - 79
3. No.10 - 77
4. No.2 - 75
5. No.1 - 74
6. No.4 - 73
Add ins for any scratchings are No.9 & No.5.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.6 Venguer Masque
Precedent: No.7 Cismontaine

Coolmore Stud Stakes. (Now this is a race to get excited about, great field).
1. No.16 Catchy - 88. The only trouble I have is coming back from the mile, but she has an excellent straight track record.
2. No.5 Viridine - 86. Two outstanding wins this prep and he looks top shelf. First time down the track but is talented enough to win this.
3. No.18 Formality - 85. If she had drawn the other side of the track, she would be on top. Great win at Caulfield and is right in this if she gets a fair crack at them.
4. No.1 Trapeze Artist - 82. Good enough to win and no previous precedent for winning the Rose and running here, in this time period (the Rose was run two weeks later than previous this year). No surprise to see him win this.
5. No.10 Eptimum - 80. Very impressed with this gallopers win last week. The previous win he defeated Sam's Image who won very well on the Maniakot meeting. He could be the improver in the field.
6. No.6 Jukebox - 78. Went well last start, but for me to win this he still needs to improve. Top four hope.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.17.
Recommendd Bet: $50 win No.10 Eptimum (backing my judgement here).
Precedent: No.18 Formality.

Myer Classic. (This is an awesome field).

1. No.5 Silent Sedition - 86. She has finally found a decent gate. Should get a lovely run up near the speed and have every hope.
2. No.8 Dixie Blossoms - 84. Fantastic run back 400m in distance last time and won well previously. This looks an ideal target and should get a good run from the draw.
3. No.16 Shoals - 84. Beaten by an absolute superstar last time out. Should do nothing early in the run, and if she can get a clear crack at them late, she can go close.
4. No.2 Global Glamour - 83. Liked her fresh run. She does improve off the first up effort, and she has a good 1600m record. Is well in at the set weights and get a lovely run from the gate. The one to beat.
5. No.4 I Am A Star - 80. Looking to go back to back as she is the defending champ. Not sure she is at her best this prep, but too good to leave out.
6. No.14 Now Or Later - 78. Good win two back. Never got a crack last start, but was looking for 1600m anyway. Looks well placed here.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.12 & No.13 (however you can name another five and still miss the winner).
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.5 Silent Sedition.
Precedent: No.20 Shillelagh (if she gets a run she is right in this. If she does not the precedent is No.15 Cool Passion).

VRC Derby.

1. No.1 Ace High - 83. The barrier is why he is on top. He should get a nice run on speed and be hard to pass.
2. No.6 Sully - 82. Not much between him and the top rater, but he has drawn awfully. If he can get a breather mid race, he has the finish to win this.
3. No.7 Weather With You - 79. Good win at Geelong and looks like he is just hitting his peak at the right time.
4. No.2 Tangled - 79. Again the barrier is the concern here, but he has the talent to win.
5. No.3 Astoria - 77. Nice run at Geelong and will get a nice run. Not sure he is a dead set 2500m horse, but he can run top four.
6. No.5 Main Stage - 76. Has the talent to win, but again it is what type of run he gets.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.11 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.2 Tangled
                 $30 win No.6 Sully
Precedent: No.1 Ace High

Kennedy Mile (who is Kennedy?)

1. No.1 Tosen Stardom - 87. Looks well placed and clear top rater.
2. No.9 Shillelagh - 83. Top effort last time out. Out to 1600m suits, nicely weighted and only needs luck from the gate to be in the finish.
3. No.10 Sovereign Nation - 80. is finally fulfiling his early potential. Great run last start and is well weighted and drawn here.
4. No.6 Egg Tart - 78. She is going well, but just not sure she can win here.
5. No.12 All Our Roads - 77. This galloper is good enough to win here, but I am just wondering if he needs a soft track to be at his best.
6. No.2 Lucky Hussler - 75. Got back to his best last week, but that was on atarck with cushion. If we get an a hard track here he could find it difficult, but good enough to win.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.5 & No.11.
Recommended Bet: $30 win No.1 Tosen Stardom
                 $20 win No.10 Sovereign Nation
Precedent: No.2 Lucky Hussler

Group 2 1200m.

1. No.15 - 79
2. No.9 - 77.
3. No.8 - 76
4. No.1 - 75
5. No.2 - 73
6. No.11 - 72
Add ins for any scratchings are No.7 & No.12.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.15 Man From Uncle
Precedent: No.1 Illustrious Lad

Darley Classic.

1. No.2 Redzel - 89. In outstanding form and has won down the straight. Strong hope.
2. No.5 Malaguerra - 85. Top run last time, in a strange race. Goes well down the track and has won this race before!
3. No.7 Redkirk Warrior - 85. Forget any run he has around a bend. Looks to be one of the best straight track gallopers we have seen for a while. Absolutely, definitely a winning chance.
4. No.6 Impending - 82. Going well but this is the upper echelon of sprinters in this country. Ran well behind a topline mare last time and will improve off his fresh run.
5. No.12 In Her Time - 81. Another galloper who is in career best form. Just missed last start when beaten by a cracking ride.
6. No.11 Man From Uncle - 79. I thought he was shocking for the first 500m last Saturday, but then he edged to the middle of the track and his last sectional was very very good. Might be looking for 1400m, but if they go hard he can flash late.

Add ins for the scratchings are No.3 & No.1.

1. No.3 Gailo Chop - 94. Is just not a Moonee Valley horse. Back to headquarters, 2000m and can sit forward. Good chance.
2. No.7 Folkswood - 90. My only slight query is if he is looking for a longer distance. Form is second to none.
3. No.15 Cliff's Edge - 85. Beaten by a superstar last time out. Has good form all the way through the spring, and no reason he can not run well.
4. No.4 Tosen Stardom - 83. Up to wfa here, but like him at 2000m, at Flemington.
5. No.2 It's Somewhat - 80. 2000m suits and if he can get a nice run from the gate, he can be in the finish.
6. No.10 Gingernuts - 78. Just worried about the prep he has had, but NZer's do have a nice record in the race. Right in it at his best.
Add ins for any scratchngs are No.11 & No.14.
Recommended Bet: $50 win No.3 Gailo Chop.
Precedent: No.7 Folkswood

1400m Listed 3yo.

Good luck and lots of success to everyone!

2. No.3 Tom Melbourne - 87. His form is outstanding and he comes here with every hope of breaking into the victory stall.
3. No.15 Sovereign Nation - 85. Comes here in good form. Nicely weighted and his Melbourne spring form is good enough to win this.
4. No.1 Black Heart Bart - 80. He is not racing at his best, but has been freshend, and the 1600m is okay. Might be better in two weeks, but can win here.
5. No.7 Silverstream - 79. Comes into this off three tip top runs this prep. Obviously steps up in grade, but is looking to do the Scales Of Justice double from last year, and drops in weight.
6. No.16 Variation - 77. Went okay last week. Looked to be a bit one paced when he did get clear, and so the 1600m should suit here. Definite winning hope.
Add ins for any scratchings are No.4 & No.6. (Please note that if we get the rain predicted I will be backing and adding No.8 All Our Roads, to all multiples).
Recommended Bet: $20 win No.2 Scales Of Justice
                 $10 win + $20 Place No.6 Great Shot.
Precedent: No.6 Great Shot.

Lots of winners and plenty of success for everyone!
