That 2yo in Queensland looks good.  Very fast and could of been forgiven for collapsing after that run but moved away instead.

Has he got anything notable contesting Spring Carnival races?  I think he needs to get some more performing at the higher levels now to sustain the current service fee.  $55k is up with the big boys and people will forget Brazen Beau's exploits fairly quickly if IIA is only producing minor stakes winners.

Well put together animal imo , and seems to transfer that to quite a lot of his progeny. He is doing exceptionally well considering his overall race record , Yarraman seem to be able to spot a value buy for their suitors . $55000, well looks like people are  lining up to pay that ,so, in reality as they say, you only get the money you want if some one Is willing to pay that price , that that they are in droves .Certainly a lot of educated risk takers are counting their chickens at the moment off his wonderful sale figures .

Well thats a pretty obvious statement. His standout was a colt that was retired, pretty obvious he'd come back to them at least a little.

This stallion is hardly on fire, and really never has been. He is and has been doing a good if not very good job, but on fire ?

 Troppo , I too wouldn't mind owning a stallion that quadrupled his service fee in a few years. Who wouldn't?

As long as his popular with asian based owners, they will sell well and his fee will remain up.

I cannot follow the negativity on this thread about a stallion who clearly has upgraded his mares dramatically in his first three seasons at stud. Remember, he got nothing mares in the first few years, but has produced a consistent flow of winners, invariably better than their dams.
If you look at the sales statistics it's not Asian buyers who've been purchasing at the yearling sales ...it's local trainers. Asian sales have been minimal.
In the past two seasons he's had a much higher standard of mare booked and it's reasonable to argue that if you send a Group pedigreed mare to him, compared to a non-winner, you'll get a better foal.
And there has been no gelati from Yarraman Park. They are more up front and open about their stallions than just about anyone.
You don't have to pay $55k. If you can't afford it, find something cheaper.

This classic sale would be very quiet without the I am Invincible.  Did anyone see the $410K one.  I wasn't home and missed it.  It does seem that trainers like them and because he throws an outstanding type people keep buying them.  Still if he had bad feet why do they keep insisting on the Canny Lad cross.  I remember he had to be trained at the beach coming up to the slipper because of feet troubles.

A quiet Autumn for him so far.  Still not seeing anything emerge.  Will he stay at $55k for the upcoming season?
