Wild Shot ( a gelding ) made his debut last night over 1600m.

Showed a stack of promise.

Beautiful match in which Sadlers 3m x 3f hasn't hurt nor the 4 instances of Lalun or Shirley Heights 5m x 4f Thumbs Up
Wisdom has been chasing me but I've always outrun it!

He has two promising colts in the Stutt Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday, Inference and Kaching. Both have noms elsewhere.

If anything our mares should suit the Sadler's Wells line.  We are after all saturated with Danehill and a bit of speed doesn't hurt either.  Mares with  Biscay, Bletchingly and Luskin Star have shown a liking for the line and we have plenty of those also.  Most have Danehill mixed with these.

Redwood has the Golden Slipper winning Pago Pago in his female line  - which is the female line of Dancing Brave so he has alot going for him also.

Interesting move by the trainer by putting on a 2kg claiming apprentice in a no apprentice claiming race that is Listed and worth $100k

On the one hand  She'd be nice and fresh for the mile on the other hand has she missed races due to issues.

We can assume there have been no issues or they'd have reported them to Stewards.

We can also assume she will go the traditional route. This day would normally be 1000 Guineas day so she goes, 1600m Hcp, Wakeful - Oaks.

Jamieson is unfortunately ( at least at this stage ) a very slow conveyance. He travelled beautifully but just could not quicken at all when asked by his jockey. He is bred to be a superstar and is such a nice looker hopefully in time he will get there.

On the other hand Too Fast For Love is a naturally fast racehorse. She is blisteringly fast. Be interesting to see how she goes in the 3rd at Kembla.

Been following this guy ever since his debut, he always looks like he wants more, i don't know how Lonhro goes as a broodmare sire WRT distance, but you would think being out of SYT is going to carry him to at least 2000m without much trouble, and you don't need to be a true 2500m horse to win the VRC Derby.

In his illustrious career how many successful stallions did Bart train?
Just saying.

Well Century comes readily to.mind, but I think most were either fillies, mares or geldings, no doubt I've missed one or two.

Can't get much better than Champion Sire with only two crops racing!  A Golden Slipper winner and a Sydney Cup winner in the same year etc.

"Success" is fairly subjective (especially around here), but you can add Kingston Rule, Sky Chase & God's Own to the list of stakes winners that produced stakes winners.

I still like Inference been following that from the sales.  But I need Highlad to win for my official stable so couldn't pick him!

Take that back - picked his dam Pontiana out of the yearlings sale.  Also have the dams of Preferment, Seaburge and Divine Prophet.  The mares are doing better than my latest picks so maybe I went the wrong way!
