That filly should be winning any Oaks in Australasia. She is outstanding.

Why would So You Too deserve to be gelded ?

He is yet to run in a suitable race.

And what the kiss are they doing with Conscious ?

Bred totally along sprinting lines on the dam side, so suspect they might have the 1000 gns as a likely target.

Only one more run before the 1000 gns.  Why would she be butchered?

Yes I think you are correct although it is a tough race - a lot of unexposed horses so certainly an exciting race to watch.

I doo like the way they have campaigned her so far.

The rest all seem to be being asked too much over too short.

She would probably a better chance if she went in without another run.

2 hard runs over 1100m is just a butcher job.

Don't worry Djebel the NZ's know how to get them to win over 900m in a 2yo races almost a month before we even have a race.  Global Thinking today.  He's out of the Hula Bend family which on the whole are milers also.

Seems they can get the Toorak Toff's to win also - but that one is a three year old.

Robbie Laing's seems to have a LOT of SYT's, including at least one pretty expensive one, his certainly gambled on him.

He has one down to debut on Thursday at Cranbourne.

Jamieson is stupendously well bred.

Now I know this sounds hypocritical but the fact Laing has this colt down to debut at 2000m+ indicates he is a slow horse. If a Japanese or European trainer did this you would look at it with excitement, In this case it is trepidation.

Apollo debuts at a respectable journey 1400m. He has trialled reasonably without setting the world on fire. Worth a ticket at 12/1+ in the 3rd at Warwick Farm which is a heck of a maiden.

SYT reminds me of Fastnet Rock when he went to stud. Expectations were high with FNR and after his 1st season he did not look all that good but he took off after that, when his progeny showed they took time. I think SYT will also emerge as a top stallion and by this time next year he good be seen as the next FNR!

Hope so Spearmint he's one of my all time favourites.  Well look at him he's beautiful.  Fastnet seemes to like Europe at the moment with a lovely run of nice stakes winners.

Inference - Djebel this one hasn't been on your radar.  He's only had four starts and won three and finished second at the other one.  Nice staying pedigree.  Three lines on Nijinsky and the Sadler's Wells over Danehill.  Also he's the most winning of the So You Thinks so far.

He was my only bet today so I was lucky enough. He looks a good horse. One thing I am liking so far is that most of the males seem to still be colts.
