I'm sure they will look to 1400m now and that should suit him a bit better than the 1200m. He's a Flying Spur / Erin Bee.

Winner winner, chicken dinner! Maiden over 1400m at Mildura, sent out $2.50 favourite and won by a lip in a photo. Ran around like a drunken sailor during the race too, so has some upside if Weir can get that under control I would have thought.

Imperial Command was very impressive Saturday and it was  a win that has plenty of people taking notice.

Spoke to the stable this morning and he left a bit of feed Saturday night, probably not surprising it was a pretty hard run chasing that leader but was bouncing around the stable this morning.

He'll head to a similar race at Caulfield over 1400 on Saturday 31st as it's the last chance for Vobis prizemoney and then we'll look at stepping him up a bit in trip.

French Secret went very well on Saturday. He got back to last and traveled into the race really well. Out wide was the worst place to be on Saturday and he was in the worst going. That run has topped him off and he is now ready to go to a mile. His next run will be on the 31st of July and we are expecting to see a big improvement.

You too CandyMan Can!

Thanks guys, was a bit of a thrill being the first winner I've been involved in, not like CandyMan Can who must be an old hand at this by now. Wink

Hopefully he pulls up well, and it will be interesting to see what Weir thinks his next assignment should be.

Hearty congratulations MM.  Clap

Hope he trains on for more wins, as he's by far your best chance of backing another winner over the next 6 weeks or so.  Tongue
It's hard to soar with eagles...

Don't know what happened to my account during the transition to the new server, can't log on Ermm. Paz's boy and forum favourite is RESUMEing this Wednesday at Sandown to begin his big spring campaign and if the tracks bad we'll head to the big race on Friday.

Owner breeder who has two racing INANNA & SEREKH

Inanna curretly having a well earned break of a couple of months and Serekh having his second start tomorrow @ Eagle Farm. He is green as grass and doesn't know what it is all about yet and unsure how he will go in the wet. Might still be a bit short for him as last start was.
