Handy youngster before arguably asked to cross a bridge too far in its first prep fisherman.

Hopefully just too good tomorrow.

Was pretty sound debut Rosscoe. Missing kick and think will be better on top of the ground

Yep, you can't expect to win a 1000m sprint when you miss the start by 2-3 lengths.

She finished a very credible 5th, under the circumstances a terrific run.

Post race interviews of jockey and assistant trainer suggested she would have won had she jumped cleanly.

I agree she is probably better on top of ground, anyway we're away with her. She'll win her fair share of races. A little bit more education and maybe a next start break-through ... hopefully!

Onwards & upwards.

Tiberian runs in a 2500m Group 3 at Deauville overnight (1am Melb)
Didn't receive the best ride last time, hoping for a change of luck.
Looking forward to seeing him when he gets to Melbourne at the end of next month.

Good luck Tiberian.  Looking at the pedigree Danzig line sire, out of Last Tycoon line mare, from a nureyev line mare and a Kenmare line mare and a Balidar line mare.

So in Australia it would be Danehill/O'Reilly, Zabeel (well through the dam), Kenfair and Without Fear.  The world is a small place when it comes to bloodlines these days.

Been a little while since I've logged into this post, but we have divested shares in most of the horses listed.

The ones we have sold, or about to sell are:
Bringaroo
Bringme The Butler
Golden Spin
Peltier
Snitzwah
The Show Goes On
Zee Zeely

We have purchased a horse called "Greenspan" (Reliable Man x Cross Rate).

So my current stock is:
Azurite
Greenspan
Murphy's Delight
Sayed
Tristano

Cheers

Rocket Sox trialled nicely at Gawler on Thursday...likely debut Morphetville next couple of weeks.
Dalakhani filly (chestnut/grey) named Rosy And Grey broken in and going to Joe Pride this week. Passed in Easter 2.
We learn everyday but still die stupid.

Watchmespin running for me on Saturday at Seymour. Think she will be mighty hard to beat up in distance and down in class. Think she has a bright future so needs to be winning this.

Baykool in the last at Sandown tomorrow.  2nd up over 1800m is still short of his favoured staying trips, but hoping to see him the line nicely, with a flukers chance of running into the placings.

Keep an eye out for him at 2000m+.

Sorry SC, just saw this!

Yes, the last start performance was very disappointing & to me it was obvious something was amiss with her!

The filly fractured her pelvis earlier this year (January) requiring time off & she did damage to her sacroiliac joint during the last race start race at Mildura & will require a further spell of 8-10 weeks, unfortunately!

Such a shame as she was showing above average ability in her gallops!

The injury can be quite restrictive on racetrack performances, next prep will make or break her!
