Morphettville abandoned. St Cajetan - Patron Saint of the Unemployed and Gamblers, thankfully got the job done.

And Justify That wins the Listed SAJC Christmas Stakes today!!  Just a marvelous thrill.  Clap

That's great work Beliskner.

Decoded having his second race start today in race 3 at Canberra. Should have learnt a lot from his first start and be that little bit fitter this time as well. Hopefully there in the finish but always hard to get a feel for the rest of the field with so few races under their belts too.

A little update on our horses;

You Can't Be - recent maiden winner and his days with us are all but over. In the process of being sold.

Imaging - trialled the other day, Brad R rode and said the first 400m he felt like a different horse but as soon the pressure went on he was back to his old tricks of hanging and making a fool of himself again.. Some of his owners are losing patience, so he will have another trial soon and a decision will be made whether he stays in the team or we sell him. Not looking good.

Edge of War- back from pre training and in full work at Weirs, races January some time.

Whitehouse Affair - "might" run friday at mornington. will let you know when I know.

Sirius Witness, Silver Stratum   - both spelling.

We also have a couple more young ones joining the ranks with ATB, still being registered/named.

Also in the process of getting one of our own privately and will be joining Archie Alexander. Haven't found the right horse yet though, been searching the bloodstock pages trying to find the right one.

I also am looking for a potential hurdler to go to Jarrod McLean.

Any time you or anyone wants to edit the list, just copy or quote it the edit as necessary Big smile

IF someone had the time & inclination, it'd be handy to stick them in a Black Book service & post here as they come to hand but it's pretty time consuming Wink  just ask Dizzy!!

Danny expressed the same opinion but the negative was apparently heat & humidity. Has the Flem Inglis race in mind so I think he wanted her to have a look at the straight Smile

Could have another first starter at Geelong on Sunday... Modda Miss.

Jamie wasn't sure if we were going to run or have another trial. She was pretty lightly built when she was purchased but has grown a little bit since then.

https://www.racing.com/horses/modda-miss

Her trial was up from August in her profile. She's had a more recent one at Terang which I thought she was impressive in.

good luck blackbook..

--

re the big dance
campaspe will confirm or otherwise..but atm the preference is for
flem friday, for pretty much the reasons suggested by noc + gay.
if the forecast happens to change + fri was to be a stinker that may change the plan.

Coffey was booked for Flemington, but Weir put his foot down so we have Yendall.  As EI said, at this stage it will be Flemington, and the latest weather forecast looks like it'll be ok.

Her confidence took a bit of a beating after MV, and her first jumpout back was disappointing, but she has since had a really good trial and a fantastic gallop, and seems to be back to her old self.

EVERYTHING crossed, including my eyes if I have to!!

obviously i'm biased, but fwiw i think the $10 about the big dance is very generous.
had excuses at 2nd start, the theory goes that she might've done a little bit of
damage when coming out of the gates..thus when the button was pushed rounding the
bend she didn't have much to offer (or was in pain so refused)..that theory would
explain her antics after passing the post, ie crashing through the running rail.

hoping they dawdle for the 1st half of the rc tomorrow + she can put a gap in them
when yendall hits the go button..hoping being the key word there.
