Beat a city winner and city place-getter in his winning trial but for whatever reason wasn't wanted today.

May pay to keep an eye on him.

Thank you Gay,
True an apt result given the name of the race!
We put I'll miss you in this race for a warm up leading to the Lismore Cup which is on the 19th of this month. She had a let up and hadn't raced for around five weeks.
Whilst her work has been good and she is feeling great, I thought she may be among the first five being only a mile, it certainly was a thrill to see her put In her all down the straight, young Leah Kilner does a wonderful job on her and she loves our mare to boot!
Hopefully they can repeat the performance at Lismore over the 2100m.
I'll Miss you was third in last years event at $21.

Great job GAJ.

I can't believe I missed her (bad pun).  A friend had 2x horses racing so I was concentrating on those and I was short of time for anything else.

Nice that she won over a shorter distance too.  I'm Callin' Dibs her half brother by Real Saga has managed 2x 2nds in his last 2x starts - over 1100.

All the best.

Thanks SC. It certainly is a small world. You would of been a frustrated owner if you did invest in her. She has been very slow to mature but she's been well looked after and she has lots of raw ability

Thanks, she did run well, unfortunately Lismore is a leaders track when the rail is true, and having a wide ally was not a help, the camber on the turn falls away making it tougher for outside runners, she didn't give up, Jockey felt if it were Grafton she'd have won, that's racing, another day...

Yes, when I worked out yesterday she was top weight despite being a mare, barrier 10 AND ran wide throughout I thought it was a very good run.  The first 3x all geldings with less weight.
