Would that mean, Edward joins his brother at the blue army? Maybe as the Melbourne foreman.

Perhaps needs a chest-full of trenbolone to improve his training performance.

If it is true that Anthony Cummings is quitting then he is just getting to the front of the queue in the great trainer exodus Would be tough to survive as a middle to lower tier trainer on the Sydney and Melbourne circuits at the moment as these trainers are not training enough winners. Plenty more trainers to quit over the next few years I expect

If I'm correct, the AJC had a performance criteria in place, so many winners or vacate Randwick stables........does anyone know if ATC are the same? Didn't Bob Thomson and Grahame Begg have to leave due to insufficient winners, or failing to meet the stringent AJC rules......why would G Begg who was an institution at headquarters be treated different to AC? or am I on the wrong track here....so to speak.

So how does E.O’Rourke, who no one has ever heard of have stables at Randwick, has he had 1 winner in town?

Experienced overseas where he was born, and spent time with major stables in Oz. Was foreman for Michael Freedman, and took over his stable complex when Freedman went overseas.
Most of his horses are 2yo's or even younger, and has a full stable of them, it's a bit rough to single him out in this context.

And has an association with Coolemoore, now that would be a Big help, certain there was a time when to train at Randwick and Flemington you had to have a No.1 license, not sure though.

[/QUOTESo how did this guy who has never held a trainers license gain a prestigious stable at Randwick? If he has a stable full of 2yo’s, surely some of them would have raced? |

If he can fill a stable he's entitled.
Extensive experience in England and Ireland. Further experience as foreman or assistant foreman with three of Sydney's top trainers, not counting Freedman. Just one of any number of trainers trainers at Randwick however some of you have chosen to target him, the new bloke on the block, rather than a host of under performers at the track. Give him time. Get a life. |

No doubt you are correct Bonjour, although I didn't state it there was a time in my youth 50s lol that there was a difference in the No1 and No2 license categories in what they could do or where they could do it, my time was at Randwick though , cheers. |
