I think we have already dealt with caldron.pool.com .   Direct from their nutjob website...

Caldron Pool is a politically and theologically conservative website providing news and opinion on culture, life, family, religion and current events around the world.

It was launched in October 2017 to offer a conservative and Christian perspective on important cultural issues, and to offer a voice for what has been commonly called the ‘silent majority.’

It is our belief that the best way to ensure freedom, equality, and justice for all is for a nation to ground its laws and policies on Christian principles derived from the Bible.

Yes, you should have.

You should also appreciate that the reason they excluded historical data from the Temperature Anomaly surveys was in order to ensure they were using reliable, quality controlled data.  It's good science.

The anomaly surveys compare annual mean temperature to a 30 year baseline. BOM uses 1961 to 1990.

If they compared contemporary mean temperature to a historical baseline (before international weather data collection was standardized in 1948) that baseline would be lower than 1961 to 1990 and the temperature anomaly would be greater and exaggerated.

In other words they are deliberately understating the temperature anomaly by discarding the temperature data  that may be unreliable.

There is no conspiracy.  Nobody is hiding the facts.

The 3 most reliable models are all in basic agreement with their forecasts, albeit 10 days out.
Hopefully 'they' can't prevent it all getting thru' so fingers crossed for the best case scenario Smile

Did you know she actually wrote that while living at Torryburn ?   It may have been published in UK but if you go to the museum in Patterson, not far from Torryburn, they have a very good section about her , and even tho many believe she wrote it at Gunnedah, and they call it her home town, they have the proof at that museum that it was written when she was living at Torryburn. ( Which is now Torryburn Stud ).  They even have a recording of her reciting it.

That is almost half the total carnage caused by the worst fires since 1851 have occurred in the last twenty years.

And those figures do not include
the Carnavon fire of 2011/12 (800,000 ha)
Black Saturday 2009 (450,000 ha & 179 fatalities)
Black Christmas NSW 2002 (300,000ha)

Canberra 2003 (160,000ha  4 dead)
Victoria 2005-06   (160,000ha 4 dead)
2013 NSW (100,000 ha 1 dead)
Kangaroo Island 2007  (95,000 ha 1 dead)  etc.

The point is that while we have always had bushfire catastrophe in Australia it has become more frequent and more destructive in recent times and facts bare that out conclusively.

That doesn't make sense because her argument is based on the premise that the catastrophe happened because the hazard reduction burns did not take place.

But there is a picture taken in September protesting the practice which must have taken place for the protesters to be protesting it !

Nutjob logic doesn't work for anyone other than the nutjobs.

Well, the ABC are with ya all the way T ... they are as keen as Lying Waleed to change history!

ABC deleting facebook posts on how protesters stop prescribed burns “more worried about climate change” than wildfires

Could be a clue here about how the nation got its priorities so screwed?

Back in September ABC Gippsland put a story on Facebook about how locals were protesting the spring prescribed burns which were “killing baby birds alive”. The East Gippsland locals managed to stop the hazard reduction burns. We note also that the Forest Fire Management Victoria local manager said that the burns were planned “after extensive community consultation”. Which tells us just how impossibly hard it is to get even a small (tiny) cool burn done. We’re only talking about 370 ha.

Sharp eyed Michael Ayling noticed that the ABC deleted this Facebook post below. Most of it is still captured on Google Cache, though for some reason, if you wait on the google cache page even that will disappear soon too. Luckily skeptics with no budget are here to help the ABC and Google Cache keep historic records that may help explain the mystery of how a first world nation created such a catastrophe.

It’s probably not the protesters’s fault that she thought climate change posed more threat than bushfires. She probably watches Their ABC.

ABC disappears the Planned Burn Protest story?

Facebook, Nowa Nowa, prescribed burns protest, deleted story.

Anyone else trust the ABC?

In October the ABC reported that the planned 300 ha burn was reduced to just 9 ha.

ABC reporting on relief at stopping the prescribed burns

I don’t know (can anyone confirm) whether fuel reduction at Nowa Nowa, Mossiface and Lake Tyers has been completed by mother nature?

Who misled the nation, and who knows it? Feeling guilty ABC?

A week after fires roared in, communities brace for a second dose

"So should we stay or should we go?"

Fatigued and frustrated, people in the East Gippsland towns who saw fires rip through their communities a week ago are again having to decide whether they should fight or flee.

High temperatures and north-westerly winds are set to create conditions for out-of-control blazes in the region on Friday and authorities have told residents not to assume they are safe just because they were burnt through last week.

In towns such as Sarsfield, Clifton Creek, Nowa Nowa and Buchan South, which were some of the first places to be devastated by the Victorian fires, some have only just returned to their homes.

Which could also be due to higher population density in prone areas, more traffic (cig. butts), increase in camping & the biggest factor imo is the irresponsible & selfish attitude of the younger brigade.

... and most important Gay ... bigger fuel loads!!!

Due to Global Greening, closure of National Parks to grazing and firewood collection and INADEQUATE FUEL REDUCTION PROGRAMS!

What is so hard to understand?

More facts for the rational...

Victorian bushfires to exceed 500,000 ha

1982/83
2002/03
2005/06
2006/07
2008/09

very powerful stats tontonan - even more incredible when you take into account better fire management and firefighting ability nowadays

Very pointless you mean ... aren't you wackos saying that fire fighting resources have been reduced in recent years? ... the intensity of these fires - due to fuel loads - make them uncontrollable no matter how many Elvises we have ... Quote: Water bombers do not put fires out.

The only thing that Global Warming has done, is made the forests grow faster and larger - the planet is 25% greener as a result ...

Did you see what the Fire Chief of Balmoral had to say Doc? The village was just about wiped out by the fire. Apparently the local brigade had wanted to do a hazard reduction burn to protect the village but were told not to as the computer models said it wasn’t needed. When the fire defied the computer model and ran through the untouched for 15 year bush they had no hope trying to stop it. As they all said too much fuel. This is just about the universal opinion of the RFS personnel actually fighting the fires as opposed to people sitting at home reading the Guardian and watching the ABC

That's the whole point.  We are warming.  The land is drying.  The forest is burning.  Whether they start by negligence or arson or lightning strike bushfires thrive in these conditions and can't be managed.  The warmer and the drier it continues to be the more frequent, the more intense and the more widespread bushfire will be.

Less than 1 degree in 140 years T ... are you saying that there is a magic temperature threshold that makes a difference?

Fuel + oxygen + ignition = fire

BIG MASSIVE FUEL LOAD + oxygen + ignition = BIG MOFO DEVASTATING DEADLY FIRE!!!

Yes, hot dry weather makes ignition easier.

I remember Dad talking about this. Terrifying 💔

Craig Kelly
·

TODAY - 13th JANUARY, 81 YEARS AGO WAS KNOWN AS ‘BLACK FRIDAY’

On this day, Eighty-one years ago (13th Jan 1939) with temperatures above 110°F (45°C) across Victoria and the state in drought, bushfires consumed 3,700 buildings across the state, 71 lives were lost and 5 towns completely destroyed- never to be rebuilt.

The Royal Commission into ‘’Black Friday’’ concluded;

“There had been no fires to equal these in destructiveness or intensity in the history of settlement in this State, except perhaps the fires of 1851, which, too, came at summer culmination of a long drought.

‘’At midday, in many places, it was dark as night. Men carrying hurricane lamps, worked to make safe their families and belongings Travellers on the highways were trapped by fires or blazing fallen trees, and perished. Throughout the land there was daytime darkness’.’

“The speed of the fires was appalling. They leaped from mountain peak to mountain peak, or far out into the lower country, lighting the forests 6 or 7 miles in advance of the main fires. Blown by a wind of great force, they roared as they travelled. Balls of crackling fire sped at a great pace in advance of the fires, consuming with a roaring, explosive noise, all that they touched.‘’

‘’On that day it appeared that the whole State was alight.”

NB : Every child in every Australian school should be taught about the events of ‘Black Friday’ 1939 to give them an understanding and appreciation of the extreme danger of the Australian bush.

However keeping them ignorant of Australia’s bushfire history makes it far easier to radicalise them and recruit them into the Climate Cult.

As Orwell noted;

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”
