I would have thought that too but according to Sportsbet market it's not nominated. I know they can pay late entry fee but when you purchase a $1.7m filly surely you throw a nom in to start with.

Yeah odd that she wasn't entered. Oversight maybe.

Liked the way she ran through the line after setting the speed. Hard to get a read on the form right now as they were nearly all first starters. That should get revealed in the coming weeks as some get more runs on the board.

Just read an article that she is paid up for the Slipper as an unnamed 2yo. Hence some confusion as her name didn't appear in noms.

Very good filly this. So hard to compare her though at this stage.

Plus we've got no idea about the quality of field she beat.  Many decent 2yos can look like superstars up against average horses.

TBH I'm still not convinced about the Magic Millions form either.  The picture will become much clearer over the next 6 weeks.

E beats Saint Antonio Lad by 10 lengths, he wins next start.

E beats Patron Black by 8 lengths, he wins next start.

More winners out of that race than the Breeders so far.

Yes I watched San Antonio Lad closely for that reason. Although that said, he ripped his own head off that day and ran well below par, and he beat an average lot the other day. Irrespective she belted him and I took notice.

You would think the Canonbury is better form.  Still only a small field with no obvious quality.  5 runners here while the Widden has a field of 13.

....Tell No Tales and River Bird are in the Widden.  3rd and 4th respectively about 6.5L behind Estijaab.

Form inconclusive after today's races. 2yos are always hard to line up.

Big smile Good girl.

Go to the front and increase the lead. Brilliant run to hold off the rest in the straight.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left

Brilliant strategic ride and paid off. Totally underestimated Estijaab. Was going for Sunlight. Oohood placed again in two of the premier two year old 'stallion making' races. Be interested to see where she goes next.

I said in the Slipper thread that the winner might not necessarily be the horse with the best form.  Rather the one that peaks on the day.  Looks like the case with Estijaab as she looked to be covered by white few.  Credit to the Hawkes team for getting the prep spot on.

very impressive filly and one of the fastest out of the gates I've seen. Beautifully bred as well.
I can see her going right on with it as a 3 year old
