Red - thinking of you when I saw that red oval shape today - KOKOPELLI

Interesting that Gerry 'purchased' 25% when he was the one selling it! Why cant we have the authorities clean some of this up - even if its wording!

Beaten 10L today & was in reverse the last 200m - That approx. 200k they have spent on him looks gone. It is vital in this game if they dont have it - onsell them ASAP to country or equestrian.

Fancy buying syndicated horses that are not precocious.

It's misery.

You never know,KOKOPELLI may strike at 5.

By that time, at least half the ownership would be totally peeved.

On what Moonflute had produced...known..how could a sane person pay that type of money for K

it's all about the hype...GAI*,an innocent party, also on face value..this horse was selling like hotcakes..."Nigerian" seller,on face value.

with add ons ...yes ..it was over 200k,initially.

MISERY

I've always thought GAI is not SAINT MATERIAL,she had to be to get these "FLUFFS" to be good.

(as we are hot on the topic,Dean has a 3yo with Gerald Ryan running today...Kembla 7...some poor trials apparently...couldn't be bothered looking)

as
he paid 120 k for it at the sales..... and it has 2 rather pathetic siblings

Two months to go before the DYNAMIC STOCK,under the hype of a combo with GAI,before they hit four years of age

and

of the ORIGINAL 16 purchased in yearling sales 2015 to be handled by GAI

ONE 1....is now with recently registered new trainer BRAD WIDDUP

ONE   ...is now with the Joseph/Jones team

SEVEN with MUNCE (one of which retired)

and

SIX with Gai....now 5 .....as one was deceased long ago(unraced)

of those five remaining ARBEITSAM is the only one to SHINE.....two unraced....SAVAPINSKI,one start for a win and spelled.......PUB GRUB and CAPEABEEL each had 3 race starts and each managed a sole placing at a PROVINCIAL track.

The sixteen horses bought at the yearling sales cost a total of

1 million and 545 thousand

When syndicated,at 20 shares per horse, the cost totals close to 3 million.....based on 1 year of costs,I believe. Barring anything unexpected.

***It has been explained here that a syndicate buyer gets a discount if holds other shares.

So the 3 million approximate is based on 16 horses x 20 syndicate holders....none owning more than one share and not owning another horse within the syndication.

with Gai demanding a bonus on results and a percentage of an eventual sale?.....I'm guessing they don't leave her stable unless considered close to a hopeless big return.

.......purchases were  100k
85k
75k
80k
110k
60k
105k
125k
125k
130k
70k
85k
120k
105k
100k
70k

then the one year mark-up syndication....1,545,000 becomes close to 3 mill

Dynamic buy horses with some class breeding but it appears THE BIG BUYERS FAULT them. His target is around the 100k mark.

This buying system has some merit but the 2015 yearlings failed him miserably.

This is an analysis of one CROP only (from purchase to age 4)....I had expectations of him failing but not as much as this.

Who knows, success may follow. I'm just opposed to him forming an alliance with GAI as GAi is very patient these days and Syndicate holders expect their horse to race. Not sit away from the track.

I've always wondered about the legalities of how syndicators advertise . For example they say that they are No.1 in syndication but where's the proof? They can't all be No1 so isn't that false advertising ? Dynamic , won It !!! Won not much at all though lol. Keep posting these stats Red , love it 👍🏼

Does anyone know if there's much to prevent syndicators from buying horses they've bred themselves? It'd be a sweet deal.

Should change success fee to participation fee... and he had the gall of dobbing on Jamie Walter.

no idea about that .

As far as the Jamie Walter incident that's exactly what I'm talking about .he was charged with making a misleading statement   . So when dudnamucs make a statement ggat they are No1 in syndication or that their horse "Will" be aimed at the magic millions , slipper blah blah blah . That is a misleading statement as in reality it is all speculation

I noticed that's happened with a syndicator that has had some success the past couple of years.

Claims they won a cox plate and slipper. The winners weren't in their silks and most likely owned by the breeders.
My mate was mucking out stalls for stables that won those two races, I'll tell him he can put that in his resume too!!

Not sure the story will polar success but I know Rodgo picked out Savabeel , Moody and his owners had already picked out reward for effort , and the only one dudnamic can actually lay claim to was Atomic force . Pillar of Hercules was a spectacular fail . 1 million plus for a horse that couldn't run out of sight on a dark night , even worse it's was bought with "Dollar" Bills Vlahos punters money . Oh well birds of a feather..........
