Yes, there was some logic to the move initially. Increasing the number of major race days at the larger venue. The total far-cup of the Eagle Farm resurface has stuffed the plan. Maybe next year.....

I was on him and thought exactly the same thing, figured it was just my rose coloured glasses! Up the straight kept telling myself he's obviously got a handful of horse, knows he's got the leaders covered and doesn't feel the need to go too early.....baffling ride to say the least.
