Vic Trainer Weir $500 Fine For “Abusive Language”
The Victorian Racing & Appeals Disciplinary Board fined trainer Darren Weir $500 for the use of “insulting or abusive language” towards trackwork supervisor Katrina Fitzgerald at Ballarat trackwork on March 1. (Mar 25)

So you reckon it's ok for track work to continue while 2 riderless horses are flying round in the opposite direction? Or when the fog is so thick you can't see a horse who's only a length in front of you let alone a loose one on the rampage?

Supervisors are there to ensure safety rules set by Work Care are strictly adhered to. They simply have an extremely responsible job to do & if that prevents one of my horses from getting smashed up, I'm all for it but no one, regardless of gender, should be expected to put up with gutter language Clap

I know absolutely nothing of the incident despite my locality.
