Quality Godolphin 3YO filly with the good ol' Woodlands breed. By Commands from the Canny Lad mare Rum Cruise.

Two provincial wins before today's Rosehill win. Taken along slowly (900-1000-1200m) and gives the impression she has loads of ability so could be headed for a black type race.

I've mentioned her 4 or 5 times on the 3YO thread so hopefully some of you jumped aboard today.

Odds were much better than tomato sauce for a couple of days.

Happy Sailing was a group 1 winner, granted a mare handicap If I remember correctly. I reckon it would have been on a wet track.

Running at Moonee Valley today in the Listed Crockett Stakes for fillies.

Kept very safe by the bookies throughout betting though.

Some nice fillies in today's race and it' well and truly Demerara's biggest test so far.

Blondie at fantastic odds for a winner on the track just ran Demerara off her feet.

No zip at all when facing the better fillies.

Resuming at MV tomorrow night.
Her first run at MV she ran 3rd to Blondie beaten 0.5L. That was a Listed race in the Spring Carnival and tomorrow's race looks easier. Yet her price is better than it was against Blondie ($1.90).

She recently beat Ravi and Jorda in a barrier trial too.

Godolphin - Williams in Melb and Schofield in Sydney. The stuff of nightmares - even tho their strike rates improve.

Good job fellas. Notice Williams used his noggin and eased off the rail early.

Stable rep is clued up on the cliches, if not the facts. 'They went hard and he did it at both ends'??

Gotta love the old Woodlands breed.
She was never in doubt today and to be on the pace giving the rest every chance to run her down at Flemington shows she's improved from last prep.

I keep watching for a wet track for her djebel, and this season the rain doesn't hit Randwick.
She did fight on well. Just not quite up to Grp level yet but knocking on the door.
Not bad form finishing that close to Houtzen.

They may have found her black type race, tomorrow at Scone in the Listed Denise's Joy.
The weaker field should have her much shorter than her present odds but barrier 12 means she will be backable odds. $4.60 taken with the Power Play.
She finished behind a stablemate last start and she meets another here. Resin the daughter of Beaded has won her last 3 on the trot but she's drawn even wider.
Demerara is my only bet at Scone for the carnival.

Tough one really ..   the big weight jump and 14 barrier will test the topweight and the 17 won't help Resin , even tho she covered many lengths extra last start when wide all the way,   has a weight drop to boot.
The improving She Knows is well drawn and appears well in at the weights.
