Seems like they just can't get enough of War Front in the States . How will this play out for the people who supported him here . Article on Breednet doesn't say if he is shuttling back next year .

Shouldn't make any difference. He is going to Coolmore America so that wouldn't change a thing with regards to him coming back to Australia.

Yes he was a very hard sell to breeders and buyers alike with his two brief seasons in Oz.. However with six SH stakes-winners he's now under notice, and could be even more so after the MC.

Look this Melbourne Cup was won by a horse inbred to a sprinter Danzig (like the vast majority of Australia sprinters). He was out of a Testa Rossa mare. Had Vain etc in the pedigree. Obviously our sprinting blood can also stay.

A continually recurring theme Furious, as we and a few others appear to appreciate.
Mind you having Sadlers there via his staying son Old Vic amid the largely sprinting distaff side doesn't hurt one bit.

Yes that female line can get a middle distance well. not many of them out over 3200m though. So to then inbreed to Danzig and get a good stayer is a pretty amazing deal. But proves we can still get them if we don't just go overseas and give up on the local product. But also that local product get a solid base behind them.

Some people wonder why a stallion like Americain struggles, and an important reason imo is that he's served too many stout mares. His better progeny, by and large, all have an element of speed on the distaff side.

could australia's want of a stamina source be finally be satisfied with declaration of war?
he has got vow and declare and warning from female lines that were invariably speed warnings family was from the speedy some say squibby line descending from court fantasy and all the lemons vow and declare's female line descending from mumtaz mahal has thrown up the odd stayer including vow and declares 1/2 bro lycurgus with 6 wins from 1100=2500mtrs including multiple 24-2500 wins some of the many imported mares would be very suitable with declaration of war with multiple winners coming from rock of gibraltar and galileo mares but with the homegrown encosta de lago looming as the best "nick" with 6 winners, be very interesting to see where he goes from here, hopefully not to stay overseas

vow and declare direct descendant mumtaz mahal and the 9c family, and carries 2 other 9 family (9c again and 9h) declaration of war in 6 gens brings in no less than 5 lines of 9c, "returning best blood of mare via the stallion"?

They will leverage all of the other War Front camels before bringing back Declaration of War.
Why would they bring him back when the buying benches are so full of Big Nose Braes and other syndicators? I say again, they couldn't give them away last time. Average $45k off a $25k fee. 155 live foals, 77 offered for sale. Just 11 offered to the four major buying benches in his second (and final) year. We don't deserve him.

i agree, you have to have the "classic speed" in a pedigree for a chance of something good
