***UPDATE AT 1.40PM 31/12/17** THEY HAVE MEDIA ATTENTION, A STORY IS IN THE PIPELINE RIGHT NOW! AND THE OWNER IS CURRENTLY MOVING ROUND ROLLS OF HAY INTO PADDOCK.
PLEASE SIT TIGHT EVERYONE, TIME TO LET THE NOISE YOU HAVE MADE FOR THESE HORSES WORK FOR THEM. Please post this update anywhere you see others asking what his happening, we need to wait and see for now. For the horses! ✊

Apologies for the new post but the last one was out of control and not about helping these horses. All nasty unhelpful comments will be deleted.
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME.
These horses I have been watching for 7 weeks.
RSPCA know and have attended AND ARE SATISFIED WITH THE CARE!!!!!!
Vic racing know but say they can not help (they know brands of horses)
Various other rescues know
30 plus complaints have been made.
Vets are attending some of the horses
There are 40 of horses on the property and only a handful look like these.....so far !
And I haven’t been doing nothing, so many people are trying to help,
RSPCA are happy with the care of these horses and that IS THE PROBLEM HERE.

RSPCA have the power, they are choosing not to use it

PLEASE NOTE OWNER HAS DECLINED MULTIPLE OFFERS OF HELP

More & pics to follow but appears to be Maxine Frazer who has a current stablehand licence with RV.

Of course, now she has put hay in the paddock, the rspca will refuse again to act.
 
Is this woman the one who used to be on king island I think it is, used to inbreed all her racers?

shouldnt we all ,  ( us here that care )  , be dumping on them big time,  and asking the question ?

As I understand it, she no longer has a trainers license, so she's no longer answerable to the RVL. They have no rights to enter her property.

I know, it makes it worse! The rspca should be able to see she doesn't have the mental health to look after these horses and should have seized already!! Now that she has hay in the paddocks, they will take even longer to act Angry

yes.  exactly.   the RSPCA  have a lot to answer for.    they dont respond to these cases like they should.
nutty weirdos should not be set aside because they throw out a bit of feed.
fiddlesticks get in there and give these animals help.  Buuga the owner , who is a known nutter.

The RSPCA are driven by Animal Activists, a far cry from animal welfare sadly.
They are far more interested in politically correct public image issues like jumps racing or heaven forbid whip use - obviously both so much more an issue to them than these animals starving.
I have zero respect for them.

How can that level of neglect not be immediately actionable, its beyond ridiculous.

We've attended the property multiple times & issued notices to comply for veterinary care & a feeding plan. We remain concerned but satisfied the owner is complying. We continue to liaise with the owner, veterinarian & Racing Vic to ensure the welfare of the horses is improving.

Karin has shares in a few horses, all of which are carefully rehomed & regularly checked on. She's also a huge mover & shaker for positive change as is evidenced here:

And it’s racing and non Racing alike that are alerting all authorities to the situation.
To be told it’s being watched ..............Seriously !!

Things have to change all horses need to be registered for their lives on and off the track.
If this person had to do this it would in some way slightly curb the enthusiasm to breed willy nilly

Each mare breeding
Each stallion serving
Each foal born

And re registered when changing hands, like a car.

Then the costs maybe taken into consideration, can’t be on sold without rego papers
And some one is accountable for the state and condition the horses find themselves in.

RSPCA
And the DPI

All passing the buck
No one taking responsibility Angry
