'Mickey Mouse' and other fake scientists revealed as signatories to massive climate petition

http://schema.org/person" data-id="43" data-m="{"i":43,"p":40,"n":"authorName","t":"name","o":3}"> Sky News Australia

Mr Morrow’s comments come after it was revealed that the 11,000 signatures touted in the media as proof there is a climate emergency may have been hijacked by a few fake signatories - like Mickey Mouse from the Mickey Mouse School of the Blind and Zoology professor Araminta Aardvark from the University of Neasden.

“It is just hilarious that all of these journalists are so eager to say ‘11,000 scientists have all said it's a climate emergency’ and they’ve just run with it and no one has thought to run a ruler down, say, 20 of them to see what sort of people we are talking about here,” Mr Morrow said.

Mr Morrow stated that the petition also called for the destruction of capitalism.

“So many people are willing to be the useful idiots for these climate cultists who want to use the environment as a way to enforce their own socialist ideals which have failed time and time again for a hundred years.”

Scientist is a loose word that carries envy & respect , despite the fact it has been proven to be wrong as often as right.

When idiots absorb the shxt coming from a retarded 14 year old Greta , need one say more .

Medical science has proven how wrong they used to be , on a regular basis.   The treatments killed more people than the disease.
No 1 , infant death was caused by Pneumonia/Fevers they said .   Now proven the Hyperthermia caused by the treatment killed more than the illness. They pack them in ice now days , if necessary ( not wrap them in woolen blankets . )

Love it when I see them write all of those scripts , cancel & Monitor none , Then wonder why the dead patient had 10 boxes of medication for the Home Care Nurse to poison them with.
Taking it as gospel they are right now.   F' wits .

They still can't transplant a head.    But wan't to support that big delusion ( Climate Change )

when scientist explore new ideas of course they will get it wrong sometimes. But tthe general trend is for scientific advances to be made, just compare life now to life in 1819.

Good point Whale in many areas ...    In others , very debatable .

Longevity was reduced back then by the poor medical treatments of things like some fevers that are rare or non existent now days.

Too long a subject for us to debate but one small observation.

As a result of open heart surgery / treatments ,stents , including 4 angiograms , 20 years ago . My leg circulation was affected to the stage of consistent oedema . ( pitting swelling ), numbness, cold etc.

I finally had my Sister knit me some woolen bed socks, knee length , which I use on elevated pillows, most of the year.

Has now disappeared for many months now ... I can wear shoes again.

My cousin with similar, has just had most toes amputated.

BTW...   take most medications for short periods , TELL your GP when blood testing is due and insist all meds are reviewed at least 2 monthly .
You will then live to 86 and be still a pain in the ARZ as I am.

GP's rarely review without your insistence and remember ,   To that profession , your just another Dollar walking through the door.

The greenies have done an excellent job this time.  Half of NSW is on fire tonight.  All the way from Forster to Harrington to Port Macquarie, as well as Tenterfield, Armidale,  Walcha, west of Macksville, and the Blue Mts.  I just heard the news that everyone between Forster and Taree to the east of the highway must get out, NOW. We just stayed a few nights in Harrington and now they are fighting to save the place. The Koala Hospital at Port Macquarie estimate that approx 300 healthy koalas have been fried in one fire alone , that ripped thru a major colony .
Well done greenies.  You have a lot to answer for.

Clearing of native vegetation in NSW jumps 800% in three years

New South Wales gave permission to clear over 7,000 hectares of native vegetation in 2015-16, the second highest rate of clearing in a decade, while the creation of new conservation areas and restoration of bushland has slumped under the Berejiklian government.

In 2013-14, 900 hectares was cleared in total. In 2014-15 this jumped to 2,730 hectares and by 2015-16 it had increased to 7,390 hectares.

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/aug/04/clearing-of-native-vegetation-in-nsw-jumps-800-in-three-years

By Peter Hannam. NSW is losing native animals at the rate of 10 million a year from tree clearing, a pace that has doubled after the Berejiklian government eased vegetation protection laws in 2017, WWF-Australia says in a report. Using government figures, 517,956 hectares of native bushland were cleared in 1998-2015.Nov 7, 2018

What she is on about whale is , It is now illegal to clear areas which eventually become the fuel to get the higher forest to ignite.

Anything will burn if you make it hot enough .

Try lighting a fire without smaller "chips" etc to get it going .

farmers aren't even allowed to feed starving cattle with undergrowth ===   Greenies madness.

Its not the bush that needs to be cleared.  Its the knee deep build up on the floor that needs to be burnt off under a controlled burn in cool  months.  Typical , that many people dont even realise this. They all think clearing means chopping down trees. NFI.

Can you not grasp the fact that it doesnt matter who or what starts the fire.  Power lines, lightning, kids with matches.  If there is no major fuel source the fire cant take hold.  Fuel source being the build up of years of dead leaves branches etc on the forest floor.  Thats because burn offs in cool months, controlled properly, have been stopped due to the greenies kicking up about it, because like you, they dont grasp it either.
Not to mention the fire trails thru national parks being closed over and chains across them to prevent vehicle access, and now they are all grown over.  All the parks bulldozers and fire fighting equipment sold off.
Millions of acres burned, along with millions of animals, and then the fire escapes the parks and look what we have now .
Well done greenie.
Not to mention you never see one of them out with the firies, or searching for injured animals either. They just sit in the city and carrry on about saving trees.

So what % of the fires, including those in inaccessible areas are the Greenies fault, 50 %, 100 % and dod you have any facts to back it up or is it just your usual right wing overreaction ?

This cant help. From May this year..

Councils warn emergency services levy hike could trigger cuts

The NSW government has set itself up for another cost-shifting fight after signalling local councils across the state will need to help fund a hike to the levy that pays for emergency services.

Councils have warned they will be forced to cut services to fund the local government sector's share of the increased levy, while insurers say the additional costs will be passed on to policy holders.

Under the changes, councils will pay an 11.7 per cent share of the levy to help fund reforms to workers’ compensation for volunteer and career firefighters suffering from work-related cancers.

The Office of Local Government said on Wednesday that the increase would be included in the yearly emergency services levy that councils pay from July 1. The amounts will vary between council areas.

"Councils will be able to pay the emergency services levy in quarterly instalments which will lessen the impact of the increase," the government agency said in a notice to mayors and council managers.

"The first quarterly instalment is not due until September 30 which provides more time for councils to review their budgets."

The notice said the reforms reflected existing arrangements in other states.

"This will result in an increase in the cost of providing emergency services across the state, which will be shared, as per the usual funding arrangements between insurance providers, the state government and local councils."

In 2017, Premier Gladys Berejiklian shelved plans for a new system to fund fire and emergency services in response to backlash over sharp increases in what some property owners would pay.

Local Government NSW president Linda Scott, who is the City of Sydney's deputy mayor, said that councils were told of the need for the new contribution through a Revenue NSW invoice on Tuesday.

“Councils strongly support moves to ensure fair workers’ compensation, but as a result of government decisions about implementing these laws councils and communities have now been hit with significant new costs without consultation or warning."

The organisation estimated the increase would cost councils a combined $14 million a year.

“Councils are already in the process of setting their budgets for the coming year after community consultation, so this new unexpected cost will likely mean a reduction in service to local communities."

The state's local councils will contribute the smallest share to the cost of the levy, with insurers contributing 73.7 per cent and the government pitching in 14.6 per cent. more....

Gladys has since back-flipped in this but what was cut back on during the months councils were believing they were facing cuts? Months that covered the end of financial year. Also the ongoing war between NSW Fire Service and Bushfire Services and the govts part in that?

As I'm off the land originally I can assure you ,     Back Burning and clearing the ground fuel source , was a regular duty , late in the evenings , at certain times of the year.
You rarely hear of it these days ,   The larger acres are being reduced to hobby Farms which really populates these same bushlands and the growth is to the front door.
Along comes a FIRE now and it's not just a few fences and one house to consider .....    It is thousands of would be bushies who are in big danger in big numbers,   who are GREEN enough to just love all that growth & beaauty they create ..........   Until it ignites.

I have no doubt there are still very responsible people who care for the areas they have power over ...     Increasing populations on smaller blocks must be a problem when that responsibility is left to the inexperienced lovers of anything "bush" Like .
Some Laws prohibit clearing of any kind and it is illegal to "burn off".
