At the last NZ federal election in 2017 Jacinta Arden became PM, despite her party ( Labor ) only winning 32/61 seats, but with the support of NZ First and The Greens (of course) she formed a minority government .

I have tried to see if there are any odds on Betfair on her re-election, but because NZ is such an insignificant country on the world stage, despite Arden, having tickets on herself, and condemning Scott Morrison over Australian coal, there were no odds available.

As I previously posted, she heads a country with a smaller population of Victoria and would have less influence over Morrison then Dopey Dan Andrews, and that is saying something.

It might shock you, but Australia is the driest continent on the planet, and prone to drought!Shocked

The rest of the planet and major parts of Australia are enjoying record crop yields and greening ... we will need more though to feed the burgeoning global population.
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

Great chance for OUR youth to step up. ( the people of Tuvalu might be worried however, missing out on the work)

Notice that none of the Pacific Panhandlers have threatened to stop sending their Rugby players - their biggest export earner - they are a joke.

It does shock me actually Doc as I was always led to believe we were the second driest continent.
Learn something new every day on here.
And as such, the AFL are on track to go broke.

It's really not the important part - the rest is what matters.

We need to roughly double the planet's CO2 levels - learn that.Smile

They do seem to be screening them pretty well Doc. We seem to be only getting the one with limited natural ability.

Incorrect Bob

From the NZ electoral commission

National 56
Labour 46
Greens 8
NZ first 9
ACT NZ 1

Labour plus Greens therefore were 54 and then Winston Peters (now Deputy PM) formed a coalition with Labour.

Horlicks, you are correct I misread the previous NZ General Election results in 2014. I may have to get down to OPSM for a new pair of bifocals.

I doubt there be many 'record crops' this year, not to mention the dire livestock situation Unhappy
